  1. Many practitioners todaylearndestiny and fengshui analyses in order to cash in and get wealthyvia this ancient Chinese mystical field, not primarily to help others. This is diametically opposite to the ideals of the bazi and fengshuipatriarchs of yore, such as Yang Jiuping,Guo Pu,Li Xuzhong,Xu Ziping,Jiang Dahong and Shen Zhureng.Global fengshui factorshave shifted in suchmanner that today, personal and social moralities have to inexorablygive way to materialism and hedonism in one's personal life.To achieve theseends, one needs toseek ways and means to make as muchmoney as possible, and quickly too, including resorting to ancientesoteric knowledge and practices, even if deep dow…

  2. I am rather suspicious of fengshui practitioners who hawk products. We can use ordinarythings like metal beds or wooden beds, household plantsetc, which are equally effective if used in the correct amounts and placed in theright positions. No need to waste money on attractive but expensive thingslike"100% jadeite" objects that purportedly help todraw in wealth. It seems that "qi" adjustments by the"master" is not enough. You need to further buy their products after paying an arm or a leg for their consultations. These things certainlydo draw in wealth. But only for the "master",and from gullible and s…

  3. 1. Previously, I used a smartphone app that says ... take a snapshot of a leaf; and leave it to the program to identify the tree. 2. This application gave a totally wrong tree! Deleted the app... yet need to subscribe it monthly or yearly! LOL! 3. Finally, today, asked a client who owns Eco Scape https://www.eastec.com.sg : What is the actual name of this “umbrella” tree... Combretaceae (Bucida molinetti = Italian name of this tree) 4. Also commonly known as Indian Almond and Ketapang family tree. 5. For me, I shall still call these trees simply as umbrella trees.. LOL 6. Light green version.. these trees are four years old:- 7. Dark…

Hi fellow forum users Well, I'd like to share just two of the many changes that have happened in my "orbit". 1. The family business has been doing well, but I wanted to see it do better. So I looked at the Flying Star chart done for the office and noted that I had hung a solid six rod windchime in the appropriate sector. On Cecil's advice I changed it to six hollow rods, turnover has increased by 40%, profits are up and four new people have been added to the payroll to help with the volume of work. 2. My daughter works in the family business. She is a weak wood. Is always feeling tired at work, even though she sleeps well and is in good health. After pondering over this m…

  5. 1. In the past I prefer to use IBM ThinkPads. 1.1. Where in the early years of Geomancy.net, majority of the resources was produced using them. 2. The first laptops produced by IBM was either only: the 3 series and the 7 series. The 3 series is their base model. (Similar to BMW = 3 series. While their 7 series is more Atas! Like the BMW = 7 series. LOL) 2.1. This was IBM 386XD 11.3" TFT. Photo shows an IBM ThinkPad 700C. (C stands for colour0. Where the chassis is very much similar to the 386XD. 3. Missed the feel of it’s keyboard. And removable hard disk feature. 4. I also had purchased a docking stations for them. At that time, a mouse, other …

  10. Dear Karen, In traditional Feng Shui practise, even in China, crystals were not widely used until today. Mostly it is due to the present day where modern technology is able to create such crystals cheaply and easily available to the public. So far, I understand only recently are Feng Shui authors writing about their own beliefs that crystals can be used as either an enhancement or a cure. I guess this field is very new and my `guess' is as good as yours as to whether it is that good. I remembered, last year while doing a Feng Shui audit for my friend. On my first visit, he placed around 5 to 6 crystals at the North West (Metal location) of his home. He explained to me tha…

But it was "so real" that it was reported to the authorities and an investigation was carried out and the person who wrote / design the website was called up. Thnks. Bonsai kittens are a myth. 16. First of all, I hope you, your family + loved ones & friends are staying safe during this turbulent time. Better days ahead! Let's hope that this Lock-down will not be extended another fortnight ++. But it looks that way now...for more weeks... Personally, I find the term: Circuit Breaker, a colourful term + an air of sophistication + wholly ambiguous especially for the elderly. No wonder read that a few got into an entanglement with the law. When one elderly man eat at his Void deck furniture fixture. And another elderly lady had her food seated at a hawker centre. When we were taught English. One best example was Ernest Hemingway’s classic …

  18. Dear PB, 1. A dragon year child would have to be born on or after 5 February 2000 (As this is the offical date of start of the Dragon year). Anyway, no matter how, a child conceived now would be born in the Dragon year. 2. The most common `analysis' taking the Year of Birth e.g. a dragon baby boy born on 5 February 2000 is widely used in many Chinese Astrology books. This is the same as the Western Astrolgy of classifying a person as a Gemini, Cancer, Libra etc... 3. More `serious' or indepth analysis is based on the Pillars of Destiny. This is where not only the Year of birth, but also the Month, Day and Time of birth is taken into consideration. (Time of birth can somet…

  20. 1. If you see the trunk of a tree "slicing" thru the window, it is considered a poison arrow. But if these are fine branches with or without leaves, it is a non-issue. An alternative is the placement of a convex mirror at waist level on the outside of the window. This conVEX mirror should be facing the tree trunk. 2. Sometimes, it may only be an illusion that of a tree trunk slicing towards the window. Often, if the tree (tree trunk) is on the side of the window, this is not considered a poison arrow. The tree (trunk) must be directly facing the window or tangent to it. 3. If it is the back of the staircase, it is often a non-issue. The main issue is to see the staircas…

My grouse is mainly on stepping onto the land and it's Shapes and Forms... I believe, the development which is surrounded by three major roads, have very few units that are "acceptable". In my opinion, the units that may be considered are those facing "inside" e.g. pool facing otherwise... hmmm...
