I understand that you are a newbie. But, seriously, even many newbies care to do more homework before posting such a question. In my opinon, those who post such a question, (sigh)... should make some EFFORT or even a little effort in using the fingers to do more walking.... This forum is not new, and there are lots of resources in this forum alone stretching up to 1999 or earlier.. Please reflect closely.. your question is like: asking us how to tie a shoe! I know, in the past, in the show the Last ChineseEmperor Pu Yi; he did not know how to tie his shoes; that is understandable. He was a emperor.

I understand that you are a newbie. But, hope you understand, this is not a purely spoon feeding forum. Where you give your personal info and presto! An answer will drop down from the sky! Please post questions that are relevant to all. Not just about, Me, I, my. Of course in the most used words in the English dictionary are these words. But, you sure post it to the wrong forum.

This is what the PAP has transformed into for the last decade, telling us the half-truth! Let me quote you another example. Back during my NS days with the 5th Singapore Infantry Regiment, my CO was a president scholar. Because he wanted us to win the Best Infantry Award, he insist that we set a record timing for a 40km route march. On the day of the route march, he instructed all OCs to get those weaklings to report sick regardless of whether they are sick or not. Also, an order was given to our Medical O…

Singapore in the 1920's was quite advanced with a network of electric trams. The founder of Singapore: Sir Stamford Raffles - his statute was originally at this location then in 1920's. In the 1950's, his statute was shifted at Raffles Place, just a short distance away where now between the UOB-Standard Chartered Building.

  21. Not too common sight.. are the grafitti art (advertisements)in new lifts... In the past, whenever a new HDB estate has just T.O.P. the lift walls are littered with every square inch covered by opportunistic advertisers hawking their business. These advertisers would find empty spaces on the temporary protective lift walls and paste their ads. Some even resort to defacing their competitor's ads by tearing away the contact numbers. Or simply paste theirs on top of the competitor's. In recent years, many developers would place a notice "demanding" such opportunists not to paste it onto the lift walls; as they have a specific notice board nearby. They merely have to see…
