Kandang Kerbau Market History. Today it is renamed Tekka Market Tekka Market, also known as Kandang Kerbau Market, was built in 1915 and became a well-known marketplace for fresh cut meat. The name, Kandang Kerbau, made reference to the surrounding cattle trade and means "buffalo enclosure" in Malay. The Chinese called it tek kah because of the wild bamboo found in the area. Dear Anon, Thanks for your comments. Whenever, I personally detect a `tone' in writing of someone wanting `Instant Feng Shui' as in "instant coffee", or fast food Feng Shui. I mentioned to contact a Feng Shui practitioner in the hope of `bringing' some reality i.e. it is difficult to do a proper Feng Shui if one is new. Thus ideally, in such situations, best to go get a Feng Shui practitioner (competent one). By giving the above example, my hope is that if one practises Feng Shui, I have mentioned thus to go slow. Dear Steven, Generally, it is very difficult to comment based on a few characters of the English language, as there are many variants or terminology used. Perhaps, if you can later recall, some of the characteristics, this may help. Some Chinese Feng Shui methods, may not be accurate because, in the past, it was said that a certain Chinese emperor, planted falsehood, while selfishly kept the `real secrets' with him etc... Dear Anon, I would like to point out that `light' does not necessary mean `bulb' electricity. I believe our Sun came about long before the `bulb' electricity came into place.
