This uncle’s plum Sister had already passed away many years ago. Her stall was then at Tampines Central. Later, when NEX just opened, her daughter (also quite plum) ran a stall at the food-court that is on the upper floors. This elderly uncle indeed ran a stall at Scotts in the 1990's. And has relocated to this food court. Their family stall once upon a time was at Bras Basah Road area. In the past had very Long queues. And has a history that stretched towards 1948!

  7. Gado gado not available. No choice ordered nasi Ayam geprek. What enticed me was the scoops of this: Fried smashed chicken = shreds doused with a happy helping of their chilli.. Rice is in a pyramid shape. Ate all the chicken shreds = protein but left out as much carbohydrates = white rice as possible. Chilli? Okay, spicy... but to me... I am used to hot, hot, hot. Thus it is like the top of the iceberg only. LOL P.S. The last time whilst in Jakarta, my client invited me to a restaurant with this chilli as a codiment... I managed to fishing like a full bowl of it! With second helpings. Uniquely Singapore born!

  23. Quote: Every few weeks, I see people either locked in or locked out due to faulty smart locks. Just want to remind people to only get smart locks that has a mechanical override at ALL COST - meaning that you still can open it with a key. You don’t want to be stuck outside after a long day outside at 11pm, end up calling up a locksmith who would reluctantly arrive only 2 hours later and charge you $500 to open it because you are desperate. Or taken hostage at home with a door that won’t open. Even those with a emergency charging port, may not help because it may not be a battery issue. Source and Credit of the above extract:

  25. Dear Master, I would like to start my question in this forum with a simple question. I have a house with the main door facing directly with neighbour's main door. In front of neighbour's main door, there are some medium size tress yet we still can see each other through. This kind of situation is not auspicious, worse still our relation is not good with each other. Might be because of the main door. There are some poison arrows too from other houses. I have placed windchimes but it is less effect though. I would like to place mirror. My questions are: 1. Is it better to place conVEX mirror or concaVE? My front neighbour somehow is better finacia…
