Lights, camera, action...Politics is equally about exposure... I mean advertising/marketing.. What more if Politicians can be perceived to be subliminally visible day and night. Now we know why in every estate our MPs Make sure that they prominently display their face all year round... Kudos... starting early... four years before the next elections..no wonder... landslide almost everytime... "We are always there -- not necessarily for you .. but we are highly visible. What Opposition? Let them bite the dusts" Thus in the event that some claim that they only seem to "SEE" their MPs once every 4 years... This is simply no…

Spice @ Spices Location: Redhill Market #01-89 closed on Mondays (like today) Mum says their powdered spice mixes many times better than that of Geylang Serai market.. Furthermore can keep in the fridge for couple of months when needed. Operating usually from the mornings to around 2pm plus. Understand from the elderly couple running the stall that it was his former mother’s-in-law stall like around for I believe 70 or more years! For dry ingredients: $1 or $2 per packet..

Aristolochia gigantea Aristolochiaceae Giant Dutchman’s Pipe A robust vine from Brazil, the Giant Dutchman’s Pipe is so called due to the unopened flower’s resemblance to an old-fashioned smoking pipe. When in bloom, the large showy flowers (20cm wide) emit an odour which attract insects such as flies for pollination. Stiff downward-pointing hairs inside the flower prevent visiting insects from leaving, which deposit pollen on the stigma situated deep in the floral (perianth) tube. The insects escape when the hairs are relaxed as the pollen are released. Flower of Aristolochia gigantea, showing numerous stiff hairs for trapping pollinators Photos: Edmu…

Was at Pungool for an audit. Noticed that this person had stolen a bicycle front light off an orange Mobike. He used cable ties to secure this stolen distinctive orange light... Dare not approach or confront him on this.

Chee Cheong Fun although is a common breakfast food. But in my opinion, this stall stands out especially their chilli sauce with the smooth texture of their plain rice noodles.

85 Redhill at Valley Point Shopping Centre, River Valley Reasonably priced + tasty fish ball / minced meat noodles. Price range from SGP $4/- to $6/-. Although their noodle chilli is not spicy; the food is tasty. And noodles smooth and texture is good. Even takeaways.. the noodles although “expanded” does not stick together. And acceptable taste = not sticky or dry. They also have assorted rice dishes. Much like another brand: Inche Tan cafe. Their Tim sum mostly baos and siew mai are also quite tasty and reasonably priced. Their Big meat Bao is $1.80 each. Nice. Large red chillies are not spicy... looks deceive..

The Georgetown Coffee House in Tampines West uses tasteful advertisements.. Here the saying goes: “Photos tells a thousand words” And literally, not a single word is ever used on this large frontage! And plus brightly lit! If one has seen other signages, must say this is not only smart, clever and clean looking.. ”Our brand + photos of our food” that’s all on the signage” Now this is advertising 101 at it’s finest!
