Dear Linda, Please see below:- In my opinion, it is best not to place a mirror as it is not meant to "neutralise" this. A mirror is used for other situations and if used, it should usually be looked at with a perspective of the house either after having analysed the house by a FS practitioner or using Flying Star analysis in conjunction with Shapes and Form. For shapes and form, we look at how yin or dark this area is ... Warmest Regards, Cecil

  5. Dear Kaushal, 1. Can I check with you: Is it that when you enter the main entrance, you see the staircase or is the staircase facing the main door. 2. If the situation is that when you first enter the main entrance door and see the staircase (inside the house), then: 3. It is best to (if you) can use a partition to block the view. 4. If it is the `second' situation where the staircase faces the main door, then what you do is thus acceptable i.e. placing a mirror to deflect the sha qi. 5. As the impact is on the main door, it implies that Qi is `distrubed' when entering the home. In this senario, where possible, it should be rectified to ensure that life is `smooth'. Warme…

Where possible the stove has to have a support or backing. Can it be placed in a different location and for you to still enjoy the beautiful view. Warmest Regards, Cecil

In managment studies, the familiar term is: Situtational Approach. Here the familiar word `It depends' is used. Under the above management concept, it is said that not all situations are the same. Thus it depends. We can easily apply this concept to Feng Shui and when we replace the word `management', we get the " Situational Approach to Feng Shui'. And the key word is `It depends' Warmest Regards, Cecil

  17. 1. One of my most favourite watch is the Tag Heuer: 3000 Professional Series two tone Gold and Silver look watch. 2. This series was sold around twenty years ago. And no more in production. 3. So happened that I was on a Feng Shui audit and saw the couple's parent's each wearing one. 4. All of us loved our (this series) watch. And here goes: a photo of the THREE watches. Mine is the centre one (boy-sized) watch. Note: the Man-sized watch had it's watch face changed that is why the Tag Heuer logo is coloured. Otherwise, the logo on the watch face is suppose to be in distinct all black... Although these watches don't cost that much; but...... (Location/event: …

  18. I find this article a great life learning experience! In accounting; this is called "zero base accounting" i.e. starting from scratch! This article is indeed a good guideline to life learning! "When we first started, people thought we were joking," said Mr Lankester, a former entertainment industry executive. "But we're not hoteliers, so we were prepared to try."

Dear Chris, In my opinion, a holistic method of analysing a specific unit is to:- 1. Although Suntec City has been `feng shuied' not all `fingers' or areas within the building can be considered to have "exceptional" Feng Shui. 2. This is where, Shapes and Form comes in. Other than offices; if one is looking at locations of activity or e.g. a food outlet; it would be ideal to be located near to the region of the fountain. This is where, in reality most of the restaurants and food court is located. 3. For office complex; one needs to look at it in relation to other `fingers' and also to check on external threats. 4. For the unit on level 28; one can still look at it interms…
