Dear Anon, Thanks for your comments. Whenever, I personally detect a `tone' in writing of someone wanting `Instant Feng Shui' as in "instant coffee", or fast food Feng Shui. I mentioned to contact a Feng Shui practitioner in the hope of `bringing' some reality i.e. it is difficult to do a proper Feng Shui if one is new. Thus ideally, in such situations, best to go get a Feng Shui practitioner (competent one). By giving the above example, my hope is that if one practises Feng Shui, I have mentioned thus to go slow. As the common saying goes, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Travis, 1. Sorry to learn about your health problems. 2. Most likely, there could be a sickness #2 or #5 at the current sector that you are occupying. 3. We would be glad to provide you will a Free paid, Flying Star report. Please email: robert-lee@3dmail.com and let us know if you have an existing account at www.geomancy-online.com and the account name privately. 4. Currently, it would be crucial to try to determine: The year of birth of the building/apartment and the direction of the main door. As a reference, the `year of birth' of the building need not necessary be the year the building was built but rather, when was the last major renovations of the building. If…

  6. Started by Nikki,

Dear Nikki, Firstly, a warm welcom. Under Chinese Astrology, you can visit http://www.lovesigs.net for an interesting insight about your Chinese Zodiac signs. Do take your time to find out more about the facinating `art' and `science' of Feng Shui. One quick easy start is to Tour the `Fun with Feng Shui' pages on this site at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/map.htm or read thru, the various `past' messages in this forum or simply narrow down or zoom in to a specific subject through the SEARCH feature. Alternatively, you use some of the computerised tools available on this site at: http://www.geomancy-online.com Warmest Regards, Cecil

I applaud your idea to write a book using humor to educate the general public regarding all the charlatans practising FS & readings out there. I am a Western astrologer, constantly appalled at the horror stories of my clients tell of readers before they found me. The Forum user who wrote in re: being afraid of a medium's ghost is typical of the fear con artists put into their client's heads and then milk them for money. I hope that everyone will do some research into the "readers" they use BEFORE getting a reading. Unfortunately, a lot of clients want flash and pazzaz and just aren't happy unless some "Magic Bullet Remedy" is suggested (to buy). I tell everyone that th…

  8. Dear Toni, 1. That would be wonderful! 2. It is preferable that it is presented in the format he is most at ease with, whether in black and white or in color. However, color would be more appealing. 3. We can talk about the method of delivery at a later time. Additionally, we can address other specifics privately via my email: cecil@geomancy.net. Thank you in advance! w it can be sent later on. We can discuss other details privately at my email address: cecil@geomancy.net. Thanks in advance! Warmest Regards, Cecil ---- Additional characters could include --- P.S. The Kindergarten Practitioner Here, the Practititioner could be `seen' wi…

Dear Anon, Thanks for sharing the thoughts of many users who I belive share the same views as yours. To me, Feng Shui is both a passion and hobby so, I just made the passing remark while I was thinking on another `issue'. But wrote it in the spur of the moment. If I can, I will always answer questions posted to clear whatever doubts or to provide the differing views of various practitioners. When I wrote this, I was thinking more of cases where users simply write: "Where is my wealth corner?" or something similar to it. In the past, I do get many people who simply wrote the above single line and expect me to tell them where their wealth corner. Here, if you only bother to…

Dear Anon, 1. I totally agree with you on what you have said. 2. Where possible, the strongest weightage should be word of mouth from close friends or relatives (if possible). 3. I have seen quite alot of cases where: 3.1. We not only have to try to `cure' but also first reverse some of the damage done by these practitioners. 3.2. This is usually where either: the `practitioner' over sell or is not sure: - Over sell : This is where the `practitioner' brings along products e.g. several windchimes, etc.. and asks the owner to place them. Thus make more money out of it. Usually, these are the famous Black Hat Sect Feng shui. - Trying to " play-safe ": This is where, the Fe…

Dear Niki, 1. If you can, you could perhaps show us a small graphic file. As it is quite difficult to visualise what you are mentioning. 2. Where possible the stove has to have a support or backing. Can it be placed in a different location and for you to still enjoy the beautiful view. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  12. Started by D,

Dear Anon, 1. It sadden me to find that you faced so much problems. I believe what you wrote would be an inspiration to many who have fewer problems. 2. We would be very glad to provide you with as much assitance as we can free of charge. 3. More importantly, the emhasis would be to check on your child's health and the overall house. Please sent a private note to robert-lee@geomancy.net so that he can provide you with the necessary credits and to see if you would prefer using the Home Audit or generate the Flying Star. However, both would involve getting an ordinary compass. Take care! Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Gabrielle, You can check out the Paid report at http://www.geomancy-online.com which will analyse personalised auspicious dates. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  14. Dear Anon, 1. Thanks for your feedback. 2. I will continue to provide graphic examples but not actual pictures. This is because when e.g. a full audit is done, we have to respect the privacy of clients. Furthermore, usually, it is not a comfortable feeling if a picture is taken when a cure has just been placed. 3. So, I feel it is best to illustrate using graphic drawings (if possible) or when I do have the time to do so. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  15. Dear Anon, As you have correctly mentioned Chinese astrology can be quite `similar' in its approach with say the Western Astrology. The reason why, we do not want to discuss Chinese astrology at the moment is because most of the `analysis' done e.g. predictions in books are all based only on one's Year of birth. This is like comparing apples with oranges. Here, Pillars of Destiny (which is not Chinese Astrology) uses not `4 pillars' i.e. Year, Month, Day and Time. So how can we compare the `prediction' of Pillars of Destiny with a basic Chinese Astrology `chart' based on just the year of birth. Furthermore, we have added two more pillars of destiny into version 8. In addi…

  16. Started by Vivien,

Sorry to hear of your plight. I have had several clients in similar situations and after assessing their personal charts and doing a Flying Star audit of the house it usually is revealed that through no fault of theirs, they are enhancing the sickness area of the house. Once all this is attended to, it is possible for the family's health to improve. Also check the eight house theory.....your main door could be in the breadwinners death or disaster area. Cecil and Robert have many free modules on this web site to help you and feel free to ask as many questions as you want. Good luck Glyn.

Dear Anon, I would like to point out that `light' does not necessary mean `bulb' electricity. I believe our Sun came about long before the `bulb' electricity came into place. Usually, when I mentioned about lighting, e.g. it refers to natural light and necessary the `Edison' light bulb. I hope you *Joke* can now look at lighting from a different perspective. Warmest Regards, Cecil

I too encounter similar incident as Ang Jen. I've paid $950 for aconsultation sessionthat only lasted 15mins. And I'm given the 'Don't ask too much' look whenever I ask for an explanation. It's really not fair to pay so much to be asked to do thingsI don't know whyI need to. Anyway, with those changes made, things seem to get worse than getting better.

Dear Anon, When I am free, will post more information on this. Currently, the relationship of planets and even the Big dipper has relevance to Chinese Astrology. As most of users are more concerned with what goes on, on planet earth, I believe, we can skip this area first and concentrate on more `earthly things' and when there is less to discuss, would be glad to post more on Chinese Astrology (stuffs). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Lynn, 1. Usually, you can get readily purchased coins already tied with red string with a tassel. 2. In your case, usually, tie the first coin with the second coin and then add the third coin, overlapping each other. The three coins can be `firmly' held together overlapped in a straight line. (Overlapped partially on top of each other). 3. The three coins are usually placed under the main entrance carpet. The symbolic gesture of stepping on the three coins is like stepping on `gold'. 4. You do not really need to worry as to how to tie them. But remember not to stack them together and tie them. 5. Here, symbolically, one must still see the three coins (even if they ar…

  22. Started by muffin_99,

Dear Anon, This is a very interesting question. In applied Feng Shui, one need not have to deal with issues like whether the moon is yin or yang. What is more relevant here is the `fact' that the moon affects the tides and magnetic influence/pull of gravity. Other interesting studies include looking at e.g. full moon dates for Marketing activity etc.. I personally feel it does not matter whether the stars are yin or yang. This area, is dominated by Astrology i.e. this forum's `terms of reference' is more on Feng Shui, Destiny and not on Chinese Astrology. Perhaps, Chinese Astrology, may or may not have looked into this issue. Frankly, most of us are not too concerned as …

  23. The back of my home faces NW, and is a large body of water. However, my front door faces SW, so perhaps the back of my house is actually NE?? This is the problem w/ a side entrance LOL! Thanks for input re: whether or not this is inauspicious, and if there are remedies.

Dear Anon, One should treat, huge manmade structures similar to tall superstructures or tall buildings as the same. It would be better as a comment if we are in a particular building overlooking the huge manmade structure. Here, Shapes and Form Feng shui is used. From the angle or room, what you see may not be what I see or how another practitioner see. Worse still if one `see's nothing. The best way therefore to relate to these objects is from the main entrance (if it overlooks these structure) and any windows facing it. It depends as no two house have the same view. Like you correctly mentioned, higher level Feng Shui analysis would be to see the relationship of the h…

  25. Hi Anon Houses here in Oz are really no different from anywhere else. Perhaps we have larger plots of land than some countries but that's about all. They have the same Feng Shui problems as anywhere else. Glyn
