From what you have mentioned, at the moment cannot seem to find a rationale for the initial good luck for the house. Trivia: Do you know that other than Geylang Serai Food Centre, Eunos Hawker Centre has the 2nd most non-Chinese stalls in Singapore. Over-heard one lady staying in Eunos Crescent that there were really few if any good food stalls in the Eunos Market & Hawker Centre. Most likely, her taste was for Chinese food.
