Kevin, I understand your position as I too have found my co-worker unconvinced. Most people require proof and are skeptical of anything that they can't physically see or touch. Well, here's a little proof for you. About a year ago my friend lost his job and was seeking new employment but nothing was coming his way along with that he just moved into a new home. I told his wife to make sure that when he positioned his desk in his study that his back was not to the door. And to make sure his wooden desk was near the east wall based on his birthdate and calculations. At first he was skeptical and resistant. Then one day his wife came home to find that he had moved his furnitu…

Wow, pretty cool. Can you answer this? I need to sell a house really quickly and at the highest possible price. The house faces north. It's not my house (I'm a REALTOR) but my customers may be amenable to a minor change to make the house sell faster. Any suggestions? Candice A. Further to what I had mentioned, there are many cases on bad Feng Shui practises, mentioned by users, clients: 1. One client (who is an interior designer) recently told me, that often, he encountered his clients bringing along their Feng Shui Master. In many situations, the Feng Shui master would ask: You have to get a specific painting. The client (victim) replies: "Where do I get such a painting?" THe FS Master: "Come to my shop". 2. Other senarios include: "You need to buy $X,XXX.00 amount of goods from my shop, in order to have good Feng Shui. 3. In some Feng Shui forums: everything a question is being posted, the reply is: Please buy this "product" that we have.. etc…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hi Master, My friends and I have started a design studio dealing with Interior, graphics and web design. I have checked and found out the elements of us to be: Vince: Strong Yang Fire. Focus: Weak Yin Fire. Max: Weak Yang Wood. Baozhu: Strong Yang Wood. Its seems that we are opposing one another. Pse advise on any actions I can take to make our office a better working environment? Thanks for your enlightenment. Actually, it is not exactly opposing each other. Vince and Focus if paired as a pair will help to balance the other's fire. While Max and Baozhu if paired will help to balance each other's wood. Together wood helps to fuel fire…

Dear Leonards, Frankly, there is no right or wrong answers. For those who study subjects like strategic planning; have to consider things like: The Industry, The Firm, The Individuals (people) in the firm. For example: in the past, Accounting and Banking in general is associated with money. And there has been a long association with money = metallic coins. Thus it is not wrong to say that Banking and Accounting is or can be associated with metal. Thus the Industry and even the Firm e.g. a Bank can be considered as belonging to the metal element. However, as you were wondering... little do you realise that you or the individual working in say an Accounting or Bankin…

For home office, in my opinion, there is no major issues with using any of the common materials : wood, glass, metal and many other materials. 1. What is more important is to harmonize say the home office with the flying star chart of that room / sector andone's personal ba zi colours. 2. Majority of office furniture colours tend to be on the conservative side e.g. wood tone colours: ranging from teak wood to oak wood tones.. etc.. 3. If one intends to use bright colours e.g. especially BRIGHT YELLOW, BRIGHT RED or BRIGHT GREEN; it has to match the flying star cum personal ba zi elements. 4. The most neutral furniture colours are: 4.1 Wood tone (be it laminates or re…

In my opinion, there is no precedence for selecting a business name unless it is in Mandarin. The rationale is that all Mandarin (Chinese) characters have specific number of strokes (based on the Five Elements) and also each character or combination of character (wording) symbolises something if possible auspicious sounding or phonetic sounding or a good word. Unless one converts and uses an auspicious Chinese company name or name "plate"; having it in any other language is a non-precedence. Furthermore, nowadays, in many countries, even if one selects a name, it has to be checked with the registrar of business to see whether has it being currently used.

Please note that one's career is based on one's personal elements and strength. For example, Sample Female Ba Zi (Female - 21 Feb 1976):- This female's birth element is a STRONG WATER PERSON. Birth Element Since you are a strong yin Water, you don't want to be too overly strong otherwise, you will not be able to control yourself. Thus, you should increase yourself with your favourable elements as follows. Favourable Elements Most Favourable Element Colour: green/brown Favourable Element Colour: yellow Unfavourable Elements Most Unfavourable Element Colour: white/gold Most …

Dear Luna, To confirm, when you stand at the Main Entrance of the building, do you see the two columns side by side to the main door or is it `blocking' the Qi from the door. If the column does not hinder or block the main entrance at all, then you do not have to worry too much about it. This is different from e.g. a lamp post in the middle or anywhere along the main entrance `cutting' it. Is the colum rounded or square? This does not matter. If there is no poision arrow or sharp edges of the column pointing towards the main door, again this is OK. These buildings are common in countries like Singapore e.g. Parliament House when it was constructed in the colonial days. If…

Dear Caroline, Thanks for your brief information. 1. It would be best not to rely on "fixed" theories e.g. the Eight Aspirations or Associations. The reason is that it is too general to be applied to anyone or their home. Unlike the Eight House Theory, the Eight Aspirations does not even consider one's Year of birth or personalised it to a person or their home. 2. In your case, you may want to consider any of the following theories: a. Shapes and Form in relation to the exterior of your home and the interior. For the exterior, make sure that there are no sharp corners of neighouring houses pointed towards the main entrance or the windows etc.. For the interior, make sur…

Dear Carol, This is a good question which I hope the following can help all users as well. 1. For Breadwinner in office you can take the following:- Usually it is the most important or highest position/decision maker in the company. Or if it is a smaller business, than the person that is essential for the business to carry on. It is also the person who is often at the helm of the business that is considered the breadwinner. This means that if the business has a shareholder but the shareholder does not help out directly in the business front, than that person is not considered a breadwinner. If there are several heads, you can always do additional Eight House Report to he…
