Wow, pretty cool. Can you answer this? I need to sell a house really quickly and at the highest possible price. The house faces north. It's not my house (I'm a REALTOR) but my customers may be amenable to a minor change to make the house sell faster. Any suggestions? Candice A. Dear Irina, 1. For info, only, unless it is Chinese name (mandarin or even dialect characters); each Chinese character(s) is represented by an element i..e. water, wood, fire, earth or metal. Quote: Irina M. wrote: I have recently started a health & fitness club. The name of the business is Platinum Fitness. 2. If one is a strong earth person, then under the Five elements concept; best elements or colours for such a person are: 2.1 Colours: Metal (White or silver, gold) type of colours Your wealth colour: Wood (Green or brown or wood tone) Neutral colour: Water (Blue, black or grey) 2.2 Since wood is your wealth colour; then I would strongly suggest e.g.…

Dear Anon, More weightage should go to business acumen than placing it to Feng Shui. Overall, a business especially near to a bus stop would be able to bring more business especially if it is an eatery. It has more to do with this then placing it to Feng Shui able to bring in Qi into the entrance. In fact, in my opinion, instead of bringing in clean air, buses and even taxi's bring in more "fumes" or pollution from it's exhaust. This is where it stops and starts moving and one looks closely at the exhaust pipe, by moving away from the bus stop, one can literally see the pollution from the exaust. In this aspect, as I mention, I believe that it is more of a business `strat…

Dear Anon, 1. Ideally, for designing a company logo, it is advantages that look at the elements of a sole proprietor to determine his/her company logo. 2. However, given that there are four partners, this makes it so much more complicated to find a company logo BASED on four person's bazi profile. 3. This is because, most likely in a four-some like your situation, one may end up having 3 or four colours for the logo. Not practical. 4. Thus in your situation: 4.1 Either reduce to one ortwo MAJOR partners or 4.2 Design a logo based on the INDUSTRY your company is in. 5. Since your business deals with real estate, then the industry that it is in is considered as the …

Dear Little, Frankly, in authentic Geomancy; so long as one is selecting a Mandarin name for a business, fine! It can be looked at to check whether the name is both auspicious sounding (phonetic sound like) and also whether it meets Chinese Numerology and the Five Elements concept. Thus, it is quite similar in nature to a parent or grand parent going to a geomancer to help to select a new name for a Chinese baby child. But, if the business name is purely in English or even French etc.. there is no Chinese precidence in selecting a good name. Thus an English name like your propsed business name K Miss 3 does not follow any Chinese good or bad name. As Chinese Numerology…

1.Since, things went smoothly, you can either monitor the situation as often: "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" applies! 2. Although you had drawn a layout plan, for a proper analysis, often, the person's birthday, compass directions are often looked into. Thus, what you had provided is limited information. 3. Since you do not have your own office (room) or cubicle, it is much harder for any changes if any. Thus it is best that you monitor your situation, first. Quote: Stacey L. wrote: Hi Mr Lee, I am in the financial advisory business and my office is located at gateway west. Dear Luna, There are two issues to be looked at here: 1. How auspicious is the office? 2. How auspicious is it for the individual? In an office environment, more importantly, the office should be located in an auspicious place and internally, it should be well `harmonised' and the sitting positions and placement of tables, chairs etc.. has to be looked at closely. Equally important are the placement of offices for Top management e.g. the CEO's desk. 2. The above are important elements for the company. For the toilet at SE, preferably it should not be facing the main entrance door of the office. It is best to be located further away at one `corner' of the office. As for yo…

Dear Michael, Sorry for the delay in reply. The most recommended method is to do a proper Feng Shui audit. At least, the Flying Star to analsyse the shop else we can only look at the surface of the issue. However, the next best alternative is to go with one's instincts or six sense to approach the matter. In addition, under the Shapes and Form School, try to place the sinks away from the centrepoint of the house. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. If you are referring to auspicious dates, then you can use this free link to check dates for the next 30 days:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-dateboth.htm or http://dates.geomancy.net (Note: the report is "As it is"). 2. Sorry, contrary to whatever beliefs; traditionally; even for new-borns; name selection is strictly based on our Mandarin characters - analysis. 3. There is no such thing as whether a name is good if it does not have a Mandarin character and combination of Chinese (Mandarin) characters. Furthermore, authentic name analysis is based on the "Big 5" or "long form" Mandarin strokes and not "simplified" Mandarin characters that is in us…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: May I know if the Bazi concept can be applied to a company? I mean can we tabulate the company's own Bazi chart based on its incorporation date? If yes, how should we treat its gender? Not likely. This is because ba zi is supposed to chart a person's given luck at the time of birth. However, a company's luck is influenced more on the business model and economics of demand and supply. So the ba zi chart which is supposed to predict the type of luck given is not likely to be suitable to be applied to business. In fact, feng shui has only a small overall role in overall business. And most of the time is the EarthLuckfactor. Such as the location…

Further to what I had mentioned, there are many cases on bad Feng Shui practises, mentioned by users, clients: 1. One client (who is an interior designer) recently told me, that often, he encountered his clients bringing along their Feng Shui Master. In many situations, the Feng Shui master would ask: You have to get a specific painting. The client (victim) replies: "Where do I get such a painting?" THe FS Master: "Come to my shop". 2. Other senarios include: "You need to buy $X,XXX.00 amount of goods from my shop, in order to have good Feng Shui. 3. In some Feng Shui forums: everything a question is being posted, the reply is: Please buy this "product" that we have.. etc…

In my opinion, the first thing that came into my mind is the "sharing of knowlege" or "learning". It is also about "growth". Growth can be a good or bad thing! For example: growth of good knowledge and knowledge that can be searched, viewed etc... Certain other "growth" e.g. child porno etc... Thus, I would generally consider the Internet industry as belonging to the "wood" element. Graphically, it is much like the roots of a plant or the structure of the brain... that sort of thing. Thus, the industry should in my opinion be of"wood element". While the people who maintains the structure is already defined mostly as belonging to the "water element" or "IT". People w…

Thanks in advance and wish you a great day!!! Sorry, but I am afraid you have to do your own search through yahoo/google search. We do not keep track of this. Even if you are not sure, just get a feng shui measuring tape. Often as long as the dimension fall within the auspicious segments of the measuring tape, the furnitures are deemed to be feng shui friendly. That is one way you can distinguish auspicious furnitur…

Pse advise on any actions I can take to make our office a better working environment? Thanks for your enlightenment. Actually, it is not exactly opposing each other. Vince and Focus if paired as a pair will help to balance the other's fire. While Max and Baozhu if paired will help to balance each other's wood. Together wood helps to fuel fire…

Dear Luna, To confirm, when you stand at the Main Entrance of the building, do you see the two columns side by side to the main door or is it `blocking' the Qi from the door. If the column does not hinder or block the main entrance at all, then you do not have to worry too much about it. This is different from e.g. a lamp post in the middle or anywhere along the main entrance `cutting' it. Is the colum rounded or square? This does not matter. If there is no poision arrow or sharp edges of the column pointing towards the main door, again this is OK. These buildings are common in countries like Singapore e.g. Parliament House when it was constructed in the colonial days. If…

Dear Keat, There are two issues in your question:- 1. The Eight House Theory and what is the definition of `facing' a good direction. 2. What is known as the Sitting and Facing direction. A. The Eight House Theory The general consensus amongst most Feng Shui practioners is the definition: - Sleep with the head facing the good direction. - Sit facing a good direction. There are few practioners who have an opposite view. As I mentioned here, each of us should come to our own decisions and follow whichever accordingly. In my personal opinion, I would `stick' with the above i.e. sleep with the head facing a good direction and sit facing a good direction. B. The Sitting and Fa…
