There is no such thing as whether a name is good if it does not have a Mandarin character and combination of Chinese (Mandarin) characters. Furthermore, authentic name analysis is based on the "Big 5" or "long form" Mandarin strokes and not "simplified" Mandarin characters that is in us…

Hi Mr Lee, should we do the pineapple before or on grand opening? if before grand opening, should we do it before starting the renovations at office? Reply: Should do it on the 1st day of OPENING or start work. No harm if want also to do it at the grand opening. (Nice-to - not a must do) Frankly, there is no hard coded rules. So long as one or all feel good about it

I am operating a business from office. The office is in the middle of NW and E Bagua area. When I have to apply for the Fengshui, do i consider the office room as whole and apply classical bagua area and place items. For an example, SE bagua of the office is E Bagua of the whole house. If i place a Jade tree in Office room's SE Bagua area, will it be negative to the whole house. Other question is, In NW bagua area of the office area half of wall is occupied by the arc type entrance. I cannot figure it our, how to use this bagua area. Office room lay out.docx

Dear Master, first of all, I would like to thank you for this forum to allow me to seek your advice on my feng shui matter. I used to hear some feng shui master talked about the most auspicious feng shui house when a person selected the right house that fully matching to his: 1. Favorable element facing direction. 2. Personal Life Gua. 3. House period flying star (main door location). For my current house, I rightly match to these 3 criteria. However, my wonder is why this house feng shui didn't support to achieve the favorable outcome since I lived here? This is my highly pleasure to hearing your advice on this matter. FYI: - I am wea…

Hallo We live in Eastern Cape, South Africa, we are building a house now, not fininshed yet. The main door faces (and main plot entrance) NE 30 degrees. I worked out that we are a 8 house which corresponds nicely to my personal "ken" house. Although theflying star shows that SW is very bad now as there is a 5 and 2 on it, I have located my master bedroom and creative room in that section, that troubles me greatly. I have also went on your number house anylises and the number of our farm is part 3 of farm 509, as we do not live in a town. That made me not go to sleep last night, as the report says it will cause arguments, quarrels, lawsuits, lost of wealth. How on eart…

I have purchased a house on a large lake. Across the lake are mountains, also there is a mountain in front of the house. The street in front of the house is curved and is very close to the house. Should I have any concerns? Also, we have moved our business to a larger suite in the same building we have been in for 18 years. The previous two business occupants in the new suite filed bankruptcy. Any suggestion? Thank you so much!

Hi Anon, If you are just an employee in a company, what you can do is probably to improve your own personal Feng Shui. This is because it is unlikely that you will be able to change your facing direction or even do a flying star. So what you can do is enhance your personal luck especially those pertaining to authority and power as it is the promotion which you are looking for. This is especially for those whose career does not represent an element suitable for the person. This means that if you do not have any power or authority in your deities, this means that you do not have any elements representing that, so you should try to strengthen it with your personal items, suc…

In my opinion, there is no precedence for selecting a business name unless it is in Mandarin. The rationale is that all Mandarin (Chinese) characters have specific number of strokes (based on the Five Elements) and also each character or combination of character (wording) symbolises something if possible auspicious sounding or phonetic sounding or a good word. Unless one converts and uses an auspicious Chinese company name or name "plate"; having it in any other language is a non-precedence. Furthermore, nowadays, in many countries, even if one selects a name, it has to be checked with the registrar of business to see whether has it being currently used.

Dear Joan, Since the office is quite small: 1. It is good for one side of the table to be flushed against a `solid support' i.e. lean against a wall. 2. The back of the chair should preferably be against a back wall. 3. The table should not be on the same side of the door. But if it is, is should be at a side facing the door. 4. The door to the room should face inwards. 5. Where possible, the door should not open into --> facing the table. The table should be at the diagonal side (if possible). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I am looking for some addresses in Guangzhou(China). It would be a great favour if you could provide me with the retailers and dealers which sell office furniture which have been designed according to the principles of feng shui. Thanks in advance and wish you a great day!!! Sorry, but I am afraid you have to do your own search through yahoo/google search. We do not keep track of this. Even if you are not sure, just get a feng shui measuring tape. Often as long as the dimension fall within the auspicious segments of the measuring tape, the furnitures are deemed to be feng shui friendly. That is one way you can distinguish auspicious furnitur…

Those acquainted with The Clementi Mall will recognize this as one of the linkways connecting Clementi MRT station to Clementi Central. There are three sets of escalators positioned in front of the shop. Typically, two of them are moving downward, while the remaining one is designated for upward movement.

Dear John, This has more to do with one man's meat is another man's poison. This is because even if you want to apply numerology, there are so many different formulas / rulesets etc. In addition, to the Chinese, apply phonetic sound-like to say whether the number is good or bad. This is especially true for numbers like 4, 44. To some perhaps 59 is ok, for others the additional 0 doesn't seem to be good. Actually, what matters most is since you or your partners are really going into business. In terms of numbers, see if any of them are neutral or adverse to it. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear John, Generally, that would mean that your career is a Metal-Water type of career. If you are a strong Fire, that will be good for you. So since you a weak fire, you will need to enhance yourself with wood and fire. So for the direction of your store, since it is your personal suitability issue, if it is irritation, you cannot really change or fix it. It would be best, though that you get something which suits you rather than one which does not. In such cases, you would probably be better off if you can at least locate your cash register in the better sector of your shop and also try to work facing your good locations and avoid the bad locations. Alternatively, you c…

Dear Joan, 1. In general, one have to look at the core skills in a particular job. For example, if the secretary does lots of coordinations, then often this may involve wood element. 2. If the secretary is involved highly in PR or customer relations (internal or external customers), this area has to do with fire element. 3. The industry relates to Earth as especially since paper comes from trees and from the earth. However, a sub-category is the wood element since paper is literal wood. 4. In the past, a butcher is a butcher, and a merchant is an merchant. But nowadays, a butcher may use a computer etc. So multi-skilling in often involved in all jobs. So it is very diffi…

Dear Leonards, Frankly, there is no right or wrong answers. For those who study subjects like strategic planning; have to consider things like: The Industry, The Firm, The Individuals (people) in the firm. For example: in the past, Accounting and Banking in general is associated with money. And there has been a long association with money = metallic coins. Thus it is not wrong to say that Banking and Accounting is or can be associated with metal. Thus the Industry and even the Firm e.g. a Bank can be considered as belonging to the metal element. However, as you were wondering... little do you realise that you or the individual working in say an Accounting or Bankin…
