Dear Sophia, Thanks for the re-attaching the attachment. As mentioned, the compass reading taken in the building has a high tendency to be affected by the building structure. Thus, a reading outside the house will always be more accurate. Especially, so for compasses that is not magnetically shielded. Hope that helps. Please note that one's career is based on one's personal elements and strength. For example, Sample Female Ba Zi (Female - 21 Feb 1976):- This female's birth element is a STRONG WATER PERSON. Birth Element Since you are a strong yin Water, you don't want to be too overly strong otherwise, you will not be able to control yourself. Thus, you should increase yourself with your favourable elements as follows. Favourable Elements Most Favourable Element Colour: green/brown Favourable Element Colour: yellow Unfavourable Elements Most Unfavourable Element Colour: white/gold Most …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Can you see if a manager is compatible with his employee for exemple if one is strong fire and the other is weak fire are they compatible ? Generally, weak fire will benefit from the Strong Fire, as fire will make weak fire stronger. The Strong Fire, will lose some fire in the process. The problem comes with the fact, that because of the same element type ie Fire and Fire element, the two person will tend to want to compete and also may not see eye to eye with each other. Thus, there may be some potential friction between the two. So not really the best kin…

In general, match-making involves co-ordination and "growth" thus can come under "wood" element. Dating is a process of getting to know, and trying (hopefully) to build a permanent relationship. Thus, since it involves also "building" a relationship, it can also be considered under the "wood" element. In a relationship, the act of quarrelling has to do with the "fire element". Dear J Seco, There are two points to consider, here:- 1. Introducing metal cures does not actually mean that our office furniture in particular, the one we use should be clad in metal or glass. 2. Commonsense approach Often, the best furnitures of wood are preferred simply because it has low conductivity of "cold". It is similar to the idea that for many Chinese, they prefer to use wood panels or parquet (wood) flooring in thebedrooms. This is because, floor tiles such as ceramic, marbel, terazzo, granite, homogenous titles etc are cold to the touch. Andwhen a person wakes up,it issaid that stepping onto a wooden floor panel is preferred as it is neithercold or hot.…

Dear Jimmy, I am afraid, your question is too general from a Feng Shui and Ba Zi perspective. Most likely, there is a leak somewhere. But it can be one or more issues e.g. relating to your home etc... If possible, if you are not able to personally pin-point them, perhaps, you may wish to consider getting Feng Shui help. Since you are in Malaysia, you can always consider, an on-site FS consultation, since, it is relatively easy to find one in your country. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Frankly, you are not the only one that would be facing this `problem'. It is far better to have the desk face a door than facing away from the door. This often, is not advantages for the person working in this office: 1. cannot see who is coming in. 2. for some of us, may not feel comfortable with others looking in e.g. privacy issue if computer screen is in view of others. 3. symbolically inauspicious - seems like one is turning one's back against one's work etc... For example, it would be quite odd for those with a room to have their back facing the door. (Unless, this area is a computer room or other shared room). In most offices, one can easily place a low …

Hello My name's Kate, my Kua number is 8. I am the owner and a teacher at a language school. The premises where I rent my office was built in June 1987, there is a river flowing in front of it and some trees; the building number is 4 and the office number 23; I have some problems with attracting customers. Can I do anything about it , hang a windchime near the door (facing N, or put some plants? From what I can see with my limited knowledge of FS the building is earth element (three-storey white, square) and the surroundings are fire and wood. There is a bit taller building behind. Dear Anon, If you are in control of the direction your working chair is facing, you can try to optimize your sitting position to the "Excellent" or "Prosperity" sector. You should first generate a free Eight House chart or use any of the tables or charts provided to determine your Gua (Kua) number. A sample illustration, is attached. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Max, For a strong fire person: best combinations are: 1. Earth (rectangular / square / yellow, cream or beige) with Metal (Circular / White / Gold or Silver) or 2. Metal (Circular / White / Gold / Silver) with Water (Wavy, blue, black or grey) Warmest Regards, Cecil

Please note the following:- 1. You can look at this resource which has a link to generate your personal element and use the colour and shape association to design your own logo. http://talk.geomancy.net 2.It is not true that one should not design a logo WITH circle. BUT, under symbolism in Geomancy, there may be some truth and half-truth in a logo within a circle. 2.1. Again, this has to do with symbolism in Geomancy. As often a circle is considered like a ship's porthole which symbolises sinking feeling or some say a circle symbolises ZERO. 2.2. This has more to do with symbolism. 3. The saying "one man's meat is another man's poison". 4. For example, some say based on …

Dear Anon, 1. It is important to understand the Five Elements Concept. References: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-5element.htmand http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-colours.htm 2. For example, if one has a small business or single proprietorship, then, guidelines of namecard (especially logo designs) can be based on Feng Shui:- 2.1 If for example, the individual isconsidered as a "weak water" person and under the Five elements concept, his/herbest elements are: Metal (metal helps water to grow); while water is also favourable for a "weak water" person. 2.2 Since metal is associated with white, silver and gold, a name card may incorporate t…

    1. In general, as a weak wood person, the best elements are: 1. water (Blue, black or grey) or wavy shape (design) 2. wood (Green or brown or wood tone) or tall, thin design shape Since there is no specific trade, then your logo should try to have Para 1 or a combination of Para 1 with 2. (Avoid prism as it is the fire element which will weaken weak wood and also avoid: RED, pink or purple).

Hi! I'm moving my business to a new location but I'm confused on how to read the compass. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! The new shop has a main door (with a porch) that does not get used as much as the back door by customers. The back door is used more by customers so I'm not sure which wayis the best to read the compass facing the front door or facing the back door. Here are some elements of the entrances: Thefront door: ~ Is on asmall two waystreet ~ There are4 steps to walk up to the door ~ There is porch. The back door:~There is asmall winding path to the back door ~ There are about 5 steps leading up to the shop ~ There is a small creek that runs in fr…

Hi, 1. To clarify, I am not sure from which source that you had read that under Feng Shui, a building must have a back door. 2. Under Feng Shui for Business; normally, the Flying Star Feng Shui is used to assess the office. 3. Some others do use the concept of `preference' e.g. depending on the business which can usually be classified under an element e.g. for Sales and Marketing, some FS practioners recommend facing South (for the `fire' or vitality of the fire element). For a Bank, to face e.g. the West or North-West (as a bank represents the metal element) and West/North-West belongs to the metal element. In my opinion, para 3 is less important or secondary. In our rea…

Dear Harriet, It is difficult for me to give you an honest opinion on the small pond based on current information. Firstly, Shapes and Forms has to be looked into. It would be disadvantages if this location happens to be the `tiger' side of the house. In such a situation, it symbolises a tiger's open (hungry) mouth. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, if a chart is drawn and if this location needs instead i.e. mountain star etc.. then it is again inauspicious. In other instances, if any of the above does not occur, it would seem ok to have the pond there. Usually, we are influenced by where we stay. Thus, if you have business or own part of it, your influence or wealth is relate…

  25. In my opinion, the first thing that came into my mind is the "sharing of knowlege" or "learning". It is also about "growth". Growth can be a good or bad thing! For example: growth of good knowledge and knowledge that can be searched, viewed etc... Certain other "growth" e.g. child porno etc... Thus, I would generally consider the Internet industry as belonging to the "wood" element. Graphically, it is much like the roots of a plant or the structure of the brain... that sort of thing. Thus, the industry should in my opinion be of"wood element". While the people who maintains the structure is already defined mostly as belonging to the "water element" or "IT". People w…
