Further to what I had mentioned, there are many cases on bad Feng Shui practises, mentioned by users, clients: 1. One client (who is an interior designer) recently told me, that often, he encountered his clients bringing along their Feng Shui Master. Dear Anon, It is best if, you can attach a picture. As, it is important to see the general area of the shop and surrounding to this area. Usually, it is usually not advisable to have shops (unless, they are very exclusive e.g. branded) that gives an exquisite feel. Common people usually try to avoid steps leading to shops as it may feel `unwelcoming'. In such a situation, in my opinion, it does not matter if a "hump" can help.
