A SWITCH ROOM AT THE VOID DECK ABOVE MY UNIT? Sampling of Blocks 104 & 107 @ Rivervale Walk Unfortunately, for new yet to be built BTO's there is no mention of the location of a switch room below a block or stack. Good news is that today, one encounters less and less of this in newer BTOs.

Case Study 1: Auspicious Symbolism of Pinnacle at Duxton development 1. In Singapore, a traditional horse-shoe block design fits well with a regular rectangular plot of land. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/review/tropica/ 2. While Faber Crest condo looks more like a guandao. Which is a type of Chinese pole blade. 2.1. The actual name is called yanyuedao 偃月刀 or reclining moon blade. 2.2. This type of blade design has been in use since the Song Dynasty, China or even earlier. 3. The planners of Pinnacle at Duxton did very well to optimise all seven blocks into a single snake like profile. 4. The most noticeable is a …

I believe, the lock for this condo: newly TOP Trevista; is at a rather low height. Most likely even young children can open the doors and most likely, built more for the Asian sized person. Just imagine if one is of tall built, may even have to bend down to access the key hole... hmmm.... Alternatively, it is about empowerment. The parents empower a toddler even at the age of 3 or 4 onwards to open the doors....

Case Study: Another type of Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) = conCAVE towers at Duo 1. In my opinion, Shapes and Forms Feng Shui does not look favourable towards concave tower blocks. 2. On the contrary, there is no issue if the tower blocks are the usual convex design or the circular design. 3. Majority of many building towers allow excess qi or wind to flow away or distribute more smoothly away from the surface area of the tower:- 4. What about horse shoe design? 4.1 Horse shoe design buildings although do have some concave areas, however, the difference is that the concave areas are "protected by the outer shell of the horse shoe design. …

Dear Serene, Thank you for a picture showing the main entrance area. From what I can see, there is relatively no need for you to place a ba gua mirror above your main door for the following reasons:- 1. Contrary to what may have been preceived, your main door is `protected' by the wall which is quite a distance away. 2. Perhaps, if there is a long and narrow corridor that `ends' at your main door, or the corridor railing / wall points into the main door, then this is considered a threat. It is it a corridor railing / wall angled towards your door, a simple solution is to place plants along the corridor area to soften the blow. 3. Normally, it would not be good…

From: Support @ Geomancy.Net Subject: Re: questions about the yijing-Loshu square Date: Wed, 9 Jan 2002 21:50:02 GMT To: (name removed) Dear Anon, I believe, the question you are asking is actually based on the I-Ching (yijing) 64 Trigrams whether the 64 Trigrams should be laid out based on the arrangement of the Fu Xi or King Wen. My response to the question: You see Eight House Trigram has two layouts Fu Xi (Later Heavenly Sequence) and King Wen (Former Heavenly Sequence) layout. Actually, both are used for different purpose and should not be mixed up. 1. Fu Xi (Later Heavenly Sequence) is derived using the Flying Star theory concept / L…

A triangular piece of land. Essentially, there are 9 low-rise housing tower blocks. They share many characteristics with other developments, where the units tend to remain quite rectangular in shape. Overall, the planners have made a reasonably acceptable adjustment in the placement of each of the 9 blocks, based on my observation of the site plan from a global perspective. At first glance, there do not appear to be any major disturbing issues, aside from the sharp corners of some stacks. I hope these do not point towards the openings of neighboring units, particularly the balcony openings (if any). Fingers crossed! Source & Credit:

1. Directly a distance behind this development is a Keramat Bukit Kasita. 2. Keramat is a Malay term for a Muslim graveyard. Bukit means hill. 3. This Keramat sits on a hill. And today consists around 200 tombs. The earliest tomb can be traced back to 1721. 4. The history was that a decendant of Sang Nila Utama around 1530's designated this piece of land as a Muslim graveyard as this hill was considered a sacred ground. 5. Many religions especially the Chinese often spare no efforts in finding good burial sites. In the hope that the decendants continue to prosper for many generations. 6. At the time of writing, the site plan is not available, ye…
