  1. Dear Serene, Thank you for a picture showing the main entrance area. From what I can see, there is relatively no need for you to place a ba gua mirror above your main door for the following reasons:- 1. Contrary to what may have been preceived, your main door is `protected' by the wall which is quite a distance away. 2. Perhaps, if there is a long and narrow corridor that `ends' at your main door, or the corridor railing / wall points into the main door, then this is considered a threat. It is it a corridor railing / wall angled towards your door, a simple solution is to place plants along the corridor area to soften the blow. 3. Normally, it would not be good…

  3. I believe, the lock for this condo: newly TOP Trevista; is at a rather low height. Most likely even young children can open the doors and most likely, built more for the Asian sized person. Just imagine if one is of tall built, may even have to bend down to access the key hole... hmmm.... Alternatively, it is about empowerment. The parents empower a toddler even at the age of 3 or 4 onwards to open the doors....

  5. Case Study: Another type of Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) = conCAVE towers at Duo 1. In my opinion, Shapes and Forms Feng Shui does not look favourable towards concave tower blocks. 2. On the contrary, there is no issue if the tower blocks are the usual convex design or the circular design. 3. Majority of many building towers allow excess qi or wind to flow away or distribute more smoothly away from the surface area of the tower:- 4. What about horse shoe design? 4.1 Horse shoe design buildings although do have some concave areas, however, the difference is that the concave areas are "protected by the outer shell of the horse shoe design. …

  6. Case Study 1: Auspicious Symbolism of Pinnacle at Duxton development 1. In Singapore, a traditional horse-shoe block design fits well with a regular rectangular plot of land. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/review/tropica/ 2. While Faber Crest condo looks more like a guandao. Which is a type of Chinese pole blade. 2.1. The actual name is called yanyuedao 偃月刀 or reclining moon blade. 2.2. This type of blade design has been in use since the Song Dynasty, China or even earlier. 3. The planners of Pinnacle at Duxton did very well to optimise all seven blocks into a single snake like profile. 4. The most noticeable is a …

  12. From: Support @ Geomancy.Net Subject: Re: questions about the yijing-Loshu square Date: Wed, 9 Jan 2002 21:50:02 GMT To: (name removed) Dear Anon, I believe, the question you are asking is actually based on the I-Ching (yijing) 64 Trigrams whether the 64 Trigrams should be laid out based on the arrangement of the Fu Xi or King Wen. My response to the question: You see Eight House Trigram has two layouts Fu Xi (Later Heavenly Sequence) and King Wen (Former Heavenly Sequence) layout. Actually, both are used for different purpose and should not be mixed up. 1. Fu Xi (Later Heavenly Sequence) is derived using the Flying Star theory concept / L…

Dear All MAKING USE OF THE PRODUCTIVE CYCLE UNDER THE FIVE ELEMENTS CONCEPT Case Study ========== 1. This shop's owner / centre-point of shop display lacks water element. 2. In this example, this VCD/DVD shop placed a tall `S' shaped water feature. 3. This `S' shaped water feature has water bubbles rising to the top of this transparent `S' curve. 4. In Hong Kong, it is quite common to see such a monument in buildings to activate `water feature'. 4.1 This is where, a similar `S' curve as seen in this picture is made of metal e.g. Chrome/stainless steel or gold plating. This is placed on a stone pedestal. 4.2 This monument would thus represent:- Metal element: Since the `S…

  14. This year, is the year of "sky bridges". And this "sky" bridge at HDB Casa Clementi should be considered the Mother of all sky bridges... Look at the two photos, it must costs quite alot of money to build an oval elderly friendly link bridge. BUT, we do pity the person pushing say a wheel chair from the ground up onto this ramp very elaborate rap. For heaven's sake, all blocks have lift and they also stop at this "garden" area. In my opinion, no wonder, why the price of new government or rather PUBLICH housing home priceshave shot-up! SOME ONE MUST have been made to subsidise such elaborate structures... GUESS WHO?

  15. These are some considerations: 1. A traditional altar arrangement. 1.1. This is a typical set-up where there is (a.) a Deity (e.g. Goddess of Mercy) (b.) a Ancestor tablet. 1.2. What makes this altar table unique is that when standing facing the altar, the Deity must always be on the Right and the table raised at his area. 1.3. The ancestor tablet sits on the left and slightly lower. 2. What are the altar dimensions? 2.1. Standard height for any altar: 125cm to 128cm. If a piece of glass is to be placed on the altar, then go for 125cm. 2.2. Width depends on your needs: 18cm to 23cm or 40cm to 43cm or 59.5cm to 69cm…
