Growing bamboo trees on a balcony Certain trees are not appropriate at one's apartment balcony. For example; bamboo trees need as much height as possible. In this photo, the trees have even exceeded the height of the owners balcony ceiling. It is dangerous to trim the trees now. Even if the upper floor neighbour gave them permission to do so. Cannot also image the amount of falling leaves to neighbors below...

Where possible, see if you try not to buy a unit/apartment where the main door is so close to the kitchen door. In addition, there is an open backyard: where if the main door and kitchen door are opened, there is a straight path (qi leak) out of the `mouth' main door towards the back (backyard). Please see the attached sample layout.

I have specially sketched the illustrations to show certain inauspicious situations: 1. Picture 1 : It is inauspicious to have a door behind a table. 2. Picture 2 : Inauspicious to have glass panels at the back of the workstation. 3. Picture 3 : Inauspicious to have a table face a door. 4. Picture 4 : Inauspicious to use circular windows.

Some interesting photos of certain blocks e.g. 766 @ Waterfront Waves. Just TOP. Perhaps, this condo was named after the top-level "wavy" looking balconies? If given the choice, I would prefer to live in a unit where the upper unit's balcony curve outwards! If the balcony curve inwards, I know, when it is a wet, wet, high winds and rainy day; the rainfall would literally pour into "my unit"...

Yu Huang Gong, Temple of Heavenly Jade Emperor (the former Keng Teck Whay Building), 150 Telok Ayer Street A milestone was marked in Singapore's heritage history on 31 March 2010; Taoist Mission (Singapore) became the new owner of the "Keng Teck Whay" a Singapore's National Heritage Monument situated at 150 Telok Ayer Street amidst the heart of the financial district. 1. Suntec.jpg - Is a huge "city" complex in Singapore in the shape of a hand. The concept of symbolism is used in building this complex. This concept uses a hand with the fingers (representing 5 office tower blocks pointing towards the sky) and the palm with the fountain captures wealth i.e. with water flowing into the palm: 1.1 Blue squares - represent Five tower blocks representing a person's five fingers. (In the actual building layout, the fingers bend and point towards the sky - Unlike the one shown in the illustration. At the end of this message, you can visit the actual website if you want to view the image of the entire building. 1.2 The palm of the hand has curr…
