[Note: This message contains 4 images. Each image range from 55k to 27k] 1. In modern times, Chinese Red Packets or Hong Bao (in Mandarin) and Ang Pow (in Hokkien) are given by married couples to their elders and to children of relatives and friends and unmarried family members during Chinese New Year. *Joke* The advantage is to remain single and unmarried. Here, the parents or relatives may continue to give you yearly Red packets. -But in real life, this is True- 2. Remember if one gives a Hong Bao to give money in `pairs' e.g. $2, $4, $10 etc... Never give money in odd numbers e.g. $1, $3 etc... This signifies loneliness. 3. It is common especially for Banks, businessne…

The owner of this house uses these items:- 1. The Ba gua trigram on the outside of the concave mirror is to ward off evil. 2. The charms with the mao pi is also meant to ward off evil. 3. The greatest threat for a neigbhour facing such an apartment (apartment door face to face) is the concave mirror in the middle of the ba gua mirror. The intention of such a concave mirror is to "suck wealth".... 3.1 There are many versions of such a mirror: some with the Chi-lin in the middle; some with the flat mirror; These are purely to ward off evil. 3.2 some Ba Gua's with the convex mirror are to deflect poison arrow(s) or sha qi.

  9. This pole is found at the Windermere condominium at Choa Chu Kang... There are some gramma errors; but nevermind.. commonsense says that it is so easy to use! No need these instructions:- SAFETY TELESCOPIC RESCUE POLE-EXTENDABLE PLEASE USE ACCORDINGLY AS FOLLOWS:- 1) GRIP HOLD OF ONE END OF POLE WITH THE HOOP AT THE OTHER END 2) EXTEND OUT ALL THE WAY TO "VICTIM"..... Maybe, perhaps; by the time one reads this instruction; the drowning person would literally have died!

  11. This house is at a junction of a busy main road. 1. See what this houseowner has `done' to protect the house against Sha Qi (or poision arrows) from moving vehicles. 2. There are several close up views of how the house owner placed a row of " Earth lamp holders " on the side wall of the house. This is symbollically meant to keep the `compound' " bright ". To ehance qi. Besides this the owner also placed a potted catus plant on the wall where the traffic flow (sha qi) is pointed towards the house. ---- Readme: ----- Note: Apologies, I had uploaded the second picture: location-plan.psp under .psp (Paint Shop Pro format). Fortunately, the Central Expressway CTE that was built way back in 1982+ was built "around" it and was not torn down for this expressway... Photos was taken during the T.O.P. of Waterscape at Cavenagh Condo across the highway The Sian Teck Tng temple was founded by Master Ma Choon Qing in 1883

This Bank in Singapore has two towers. = If you notice carefully in the picture, it does not aim poison arrow to itself but to neighbouring buildings. Its a case of poison arrows for `others' and not for self.

  14. 1. In this layout plan, there is a `close-call' towards nature's call. 2. This layout is not-as-auspicious since the toilet bowls of the shared toilet and master bedroom are close to the centre-point of the house. 3. Owner will not be able to `retain cash'. And finance is always up and down with little savings left - at the end of the day. 4. If specific windows are opened in the living room; there is a direct path or sha qi from the main door to the balcony or living room window. This is `curable'. But secondary to the `toilet bowl' issue. Suggestion: If CAN, AVOID buying this unit.

  18. Below, front cover, image size = 47k of a `pink' Chinese Wedding Card What we can understand after seeing the four samples of Chinese Wedding Invitation cards are:- 1. Traditional Chinese Wedding Invitation cards are Red and (newer cards) in Pink background. 2. All cards have the Double Happiness calligraph either in the modern form (wordings) or the traditional design. 3. Some traditional cards have a picture of the Phoenix (Female) and Dragon (Male). Thus you can understand why Red is considered an auspicious colour for the Chinese. However, many Chinese who are Christians, do use White Wedding Invitation card especially if it is a wedding at a church.

  20. Designer's Layout plan showing inauspicious layout of beds (Master bedroom, bedroom 1 and bedroom 2) against the window. Revised plan with each of the beds against a solid wall. P.S. The TV sets were not shown in the bedrooms under the (second) Revised layout plan. Personally, it is still acceptable to have the TV sets in the room. This is part of `modern' living. Note: 1. This so far does not take into consideration the compass school of Feng Shui. 2. Look out for the placement of the bed on the opposite/next to wall of the toilet bowl. This is considered very inauspcious. For example, take a look at the master bedroom. You will see that the toilet bowl shares th…

    1. This category of Ba Gua mirrors have the Fu Dogs as protection. 2. Sometimes, the owners may not have Fu Dogs on both sides of their premises and they like to feel comfortable with Fu Dogs. 3. Notice that the Model E & F Ba Guas in the picture with Fu Dog in the centre of the Ba Gua " clench' or bite on to two swords. 3. It has to do with the real figurines where some of these Fu Dogs bite on a sword each. I have also taken pictures of figurines of statues of Fu Dogs with the sword in this attachment. Overall, this category of Ba Gua mirrors are is used more for "protection" e.g. against evil spirits RATHER than to deflect Sha Qi or poison arrows. It is preferred …
