HDB Keat Hong Pride is within the greater piece of land which once was an army camp i.e. Keat Hong camp. HDB Keat Hong Pride sits at the fringe of once was the fence of the army camp. And distinctively the MRT trains are so close, but yet so far. Hopefully the government heed the request by new residents of this estate to have another train station "Keat Hong station". Similar to the Dover station and the current under construction Canberra station.
