Symphony Suites @ Yishun is certainly a neat "production" line block layouts. Such sites reminds me of tightly packed "road grids". Very sterile and the purpose to pack as many blocks and stacks as possible in a "small space - site". This site reminds me of the "no brainer" soon to TOP site : " Treasure Trove " in Punggol. Other than a slight cure of Blocks 50, 52 and 54; the rest of the other 12 blocks (Imagine: this development has a total of 15 "point-blocks" sandwiched together. I knew when the development called 100 trees condo (at West Coast)T.O.P. It really has lots of trees. Not that I counted them. But I guess, the development must have that many number of trees. But, I was trying to figure out why they call it Tree house? Perhaps, I stumbled on it the other day. When I say the Sky view tower and I zoomed in to the following photos. This year, is the year of "sky bridges". And this "sky" bridge at HDB Casa Clementi should be considered the Mother of all sky bridges... Look at the two photos, it must costs quite alot of money to build an oval elderly friendly link bridge. BUT, we do pity the person pushing say a wheel chair from the ground up onto this ramp very elaborate rap. For heaven's sake, all blocks have lift and they also stop at this "garden" area. In my opinion, no wonder, why the price of new government or rather PUBLICH housing home priceshave shot-up! SOME ONE MUST have been made to subsidise such elaborate structures... GUESS WHO?

This is a good design as there is minimal support pillars for each of the car porch in this twin semi-detached homes. The roofs are slightly slanted to allow for active water-flow during a downpour. Thus driving into and opening car doors is a piece of cake. Overall a good designWITHOUT the need for those wires that dangle and support the roof anchored to the wall.

I have encountered many layouts similar to these in various HDB flats located all over Singapore e.g. Fernvale Block 4xx etc... Under Symbolism in Feng Shui, it is common sense that when we enter a home or apartment, our first impression counts. Here... just go ahead and imagine...
