Many times in the past, whenever I am at Compass Point Shopping Centre; nearly scraped/brushed my ankle (leg) against the sharp edges of the plant pot. In fact, on a few occasions; when it is crowded and when tried to side-step other pedestrians had brushed my legs against it. Ouch!

  12. Mayfair Gardens at 2 Rifle Range Road - KIV for review when more details are obtained. Intermission... No, it is not even a Golf club. But much cooler than one-:) My fond memories of the apex of Rifle Range Road grounds and it's rich history of the origins of Singapore Gun Club and the Singapore Rifle Range Association. When I was young, my dad who is a member of Singapore Gun Club used to bring us to the Gun Club Range. Singapore Gun Club used to on top of the hill. The Club has a store modelled similar to what one finds in the US gun store. For example if you have seen shows like Rambo II. A member can simply go in and purchase all sorts of…

The existing bamboo pole holders embedded into the external walls of many old HDB flats are danger as they collect water = mosquito breeding. However, these metallic protrusions can be considered as functional yet very ugly / unsightly.

  16. If one is driving along Upper Paya Lebar Road, one cannot help to notice a crisp and bright building: This building is the Kim Loong Building: Under the Five elements concept: 1. Rectangular shape represents earth element. 2. Yellow also represents earth element. 3. The red stripes represent Fire element. Under the Five elements concept; fire supports earth. And this building is build to take advantage of it's surroundings by applying the Five elements concept by being a "strong" or bigger earth element. Although this Kim Loong building is located at LITTLE ROAD. It is not so little after all if we take into consideration the Five…

  17. - Message cross posted from Free Advice Conf- -- Original Message from Anon -- In the photo tour of interest (pictures of Bungalow houses). There is a tree in the front of the house. Will it be considered a poison arrow. What is the white structure on top of the house(looks like a coin with dragon fish). Thanks. -- End of message -- Dear Anon, 1. I have retaken another picture. This picture will show that there is no poison arrows aimed at the house. 2. You will also notice that the drive way does not act as sha qi against the main entrance door. The main entrance is also elevated (on the right side of the picture). 3. The drive way leads to the back area of the house. …

  18. 1. This special design lamp posts can be found along the stretch of Lor H Telok Kurau Road. 2. The lamp post seemingly looks stylish; but yet hides an ugly truth: Under symbolism in Feng Shui; it is not good for homes to face the "twin pointed" archer's arrow-heads aimed towards the opposite house! 3. A design ... from Feng Shui point of view that went the "wrong way" to the dogs!

HDB Keat Hong Pride is within the greater piece of land which once was an army camp i.e. Keat Hong camp. HDB Keat Hong Pride sits at the fringe of once was the fence of the army camp. And distinctively the MRT trains are so close, but yet so far. Hopefully the government heed the request by new residents of this estate to have another train station "Keat Hong station". Similar to the Dover station and the current under construction Canberra station.
