Ref: http://fountain.geomancy.net The photo shows a politically correct or in theory a typical "Feng Shui" type of water feature. In the first photo, it shows clearly that the water feature lacks plants = wood element.

Bamboo is again featured very prominently in this picture: 1. Bamboo plants are featured prominently in the background of this picture. 2. The old man uses the bamboo to fish. The act of catching the fish symbolises the usefulness of the bamboo. No wonder, why the Chinese `love' bamboo. Many homes used to hang out their clothes on bamboo poles. Again, with a little imagination, you can see so many uses of bamboo. Warmest Regards, Cecil

This incense burner is always in themiddle with candlesticks and vaseson eachside of it: making a total of 5 utensils on thesacrificial altar. Picture shows one of the Ming Emperor's tomb / monument...

  12. Due to the birth control policies of mainland China, there are now around 53 million one child family. These children (boys or girls) are treated as `little emperors' by their parents and grand parents. Can you imagine being young without a single brother or sister to play with? Warmest Regards, Cecil Dear cecil, - Cross posted from Chinese Culture conf. - I read that there is one child policy in China. What happens if a couple gets pregnant again after having one baby. Thanks. Cecil: Usually they have to go for an abortion.

  19. Started by Cecil Lee,

Dear All, In Hong Kong, Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation HQ building took a desperate attempt to place two cannons. Hong Kong Feng Shui practitioners spare no efforts to use `black' feng shui on others. Even in Singapore, some buildings were built on `black' Feng Shui e.g Suntec City. Warmest Regards, Cecil

This home places a lone "fierce" tiger guarding the home. If one notice carefully, the tiger's back is protected by a vast network of a cactus plant! Truly extreme and one of it's kind....

In my opinion, I personally do not like the colour scheme for this new block of government public housing. Personally, I feel that it is a mismatch of colours especially white with apriot. Furthmore, the wall relief reminds me of the design found on water tanks above the roof tops.
