These photos were taken four (4) months later in October 2011. The entire plot of land has been literally flatten to cater for government development. Majority should be Housing Development Board (HDB) flats...

1. Characteristics of charms (in this case for protection): Often they are "written" on yellow paper or on yellow coloured cloths. 2. In this photo; the charm is faded so cannot clearly see the yellow background. 3. For this charm, the paper charm is often written in RED colour. Although black wordings may be used. I discovered this charm at a condominiumaround Lorong Sarinaarea.

The fan in the attached photos have retractable blades. BUT of aFeng Shui friendlier design... This streamlineand elegant design is better than the earlier boomerang type of design. It looks more "femine".

Some interesting photos of certain blocks e.g. 766 @ Waterfront Waves. Just TOP. Perhaps, this condo was named after the top-level "wavy" looking balconies? If given the choice, I would prefer to live in a unit where the upper unit's balcony curve outwards! If the balcony curve inwards, I know, when it is a wet, wet, high winds and rainy day; the rainfall would literally pour into "my unit"...

Another recently TOP condo. Notice the swimming pool on 1st level overlooking the entrance / guard room?

To the left of the earlier bungalow is now a private apartment building. The only thing left of the bungalow is the pillar and benches outside of the property..

If the earlier house can be described as beautify; the house that is beside this beautiful house (to the left) can be considered as the most ugly (beast) of a house!

Although this home has "less privacy" because of the way the ventilation areas were designed into the high wall bordering the house. But because of this type of design; as a result; this home should be more airy and well ventilated. Nowadays, we seldom see such a "see thru" design. However, there are variants of such a design where "half-walls" are/were constructed instead of a full inverse triangular "openings". Who cares if occasionally others can see into the home. So long as it is both functional and practical for the household! Of course, this is Singapore and not the US. Where most homes don't even have a "keep-out" fencing.

Wild birds + bird flu?

Has PAC MAN anything to do with the designs of the various blocks of flats found in the attached street directory map? Or was the architect a fan of PAC MAN and wanted to immortalise PAC MAN in his/her design of the block of flats in various parts of Bukit Batok?

Under the Five Elements concept, this painting has two main elements: Metal and Water in it.

On all SIA flights: there is no such thing as ROW number 13. In the photo; you will see that there is a Row 12. And then followed by 14. Where is "row 13?" = none.

Did you see the two "guardian" figurines on the pillars?
