This house is at a junction of a busy main road. 1. See what this houseowner has `done' to protect the house against Sha Qi (or poision arrows) from moving vehicles. 2. There are several close up views of how the house owner placed a row of " Earth lamp holders " on the side wall of the house. This is symbollically meant to keep the `compound' " bright ". Pictures of the two Gods guarding the Door. The picture of the two door gods are also used on some Ba Gua `mirrors' i.e. the First Heaven Sequence Ba gua Symbol is on the top while the two door gods are below the Ba Gua `mirror'. This mirror is usually hung to `ward off evil'. For example, it is commonly placed at the North East (Devil's main gate) main door or South West (Devil's back door)main door . Snap-shots of more pictures of the above temple. Lion statue: There are two Lion statues `guarding' the main entrance to the temple. Lion statues are very common found on traditional Chinese buildings to guard the front door. Lots of buildings in Singapore have the two Lion statues similar to the one shown in the picture. The Hong Kong Shanghai Bank or HSBC commonly has two bronze Lions outside the main entrance of their branches. The burning receptacles are used for burning of paper `money', paper offerings etc... `Hell' notes refers to paper money burned/offered to the dead in the hope that they can make use of the money in the after life.

Although the shape of the house is considered `good' i.e. rectangle/squarish in shape, but a toilet at the centre of the house implies that finances are drained. 3. Hi Everyone, Besides Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank, the two lion statues each tied with red cloth is found on a Bank of India Branch in Singapore's country's Central Business District. It is not necessary to place the lion statues at a specific facing direction e.g. the West direction. But rather, it is commonly found on both sides of the main entrance to `guard' the premises. In the picture the two lion statues are tilted at an angle against the flow of traffic (of the one way street). Koi's are actually carps. Many instead of keeping real fishes purchase paintings of Koi's swimming. Most of the paintings usually have 9 Koi's swimming. (A few paintings have 8 fishes). In Mandarin 9 sounds like `longevity' and in Cantonese 8 sounds like `prosper'. The last illustration, is interesting because, it can also be applied to a swimming pool. Besides an uneven flow of water, it is equally inauspicious to have a swimming pool in the shape as mentioned in the illustration.

What happens if there is a lone tree tangent/between the main entrance door? Take a closer look at the attachment to understand another theory called The `Triangle' Effect 1. If it is a single tree in the middle (outside) the main entrance door. This causes an imbalance in Qi as the trunk of the tree slices (like a sword) into the main entrance door. As promised, I will explain why the top most units of the Sterling condominum are excellent apartments even if they are triangle in shape and seems to have protrusions or `missing' corners. The base of these tubes produce bubbles and lighted up usually with blue light. As most of the water is enclosed, only a small surface i.e. the top of the tubes are in contact with air. Below, front cover, image size = 47k of a `pink' Chinese Wedding Card What we can understand after seeing the four samples of Chinese Wedding Invitation cards are:- 1. Traditional Chinese Wedding Invitation cards are Red and (newer cards) in Pink background. 2. All cards have the Double Happiness calligraph either in the modern form (wordings) or the traditional design. 3. Some traditional cards have a picture of the Phoenix (Female) and Dragon (Male). Thus you can understand why Red is considered an auspicious colour for the Chinese. However, many Chinese who are Christians, do use White Wedding Invitation card especially if it is a wedding at a church.
