  3. The Beeh Low See Buddhist Temple is nestled between Jalan Jurong Kechil and Toh Yi. The main building of the temple is sitting South facing North and elevated on a hill. Based on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui; it is said to be sitting on a hill, facing water". What is unique about this temple is the entire Toh Yi Housing Board Flats were literally built around it. Here, the temple came first; before the homes!

  4. Hi everyone, I like to use the Saintograph (R) brand protractor. It comes in various sizes. If I am not mistaken it costs around US$2.50/- to US$5.00/- plus or minus this amount. If you cannot find this brand, purchase a `reputable' brand. For those who are new, I use it inconjunction with the compass method: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/cecilcompass.htm My favourite compass can be found under this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/recommendcompass.htm Happy Feng Shuing:) Important Tips:- 1. While doing so, always remember to take confirmation readings from the exterior of the house e.g. on a vacant land and do not wear jewellry or go close to the walls (wher the walls may…

  5. The Dracaena Draco plant / tree. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, plants with rounded leaves are preferred over spikey leafs. Under common sense; usually nowadays, the garden is very small; and if one has young ones running around the garden, such sharp leafs may accidentally hurt a child when the child runs into it. Worse of all, hopefully it does not poke into vunerable areas like the eyes. In this photo; this plant or tree can be of low height or higher.

  9. Started by Cecil Lee,

This is a very easy to grow especially just plant into the ground and "forget" about it!. It does not have flowers.. But, it's natural reddish colour is spectacular! Those that get the right sunlight will turned a beautiful maroon with chilli red tones or hews in it's leaves. Little sunlight and it turns light brown to even dull "blood clot" red that looks like rust coloured plants. Chinese love or consider red colour auspicious. This is why, this person, landscaped the public walkway outside his home with lots of "red variety" plants. This plant's scientific name is Cordyline fruitcosa and it belongs to the Agavaceae family.

  10. Started by Cecil Lee,

The family name of this type plant is: Dracaenaceae This family of plants require only medium watering, it can be placed under direct or in-direct sunlight. It's family can be distinguished by two tone colours which run parallel to its "spear" like leave. And it's family has spear like leaves that are: tall and thin to fat and broad to thin and short.... Another very hardy and easy to grow; pleasant to the eyes and minimal maintenance needed when grown in a garden.

  14. Majority of the stacks/apartments in The Gale either face Period 8 N3 or S3. For units facing N3, it is considered a "pity" that the double current prosperity stars #8 are wasted at the kitchen area. Thus, other than Shapes and Forms; from a Flying Star point of view; S3 facing apartments in The Gale are suppose to have better qi then N3 facing units. Additional Workings

  18. This plant is quite common in Singapore, but always never placed directly at the frontage of the main entrance door. As each of the leave is pointed much like an Anglo Saxon knife blade. This plant comes from Zaire. It's family name is: Dracaenaceae. And it is commonly called: Variegated Snake Plant. This plant has a cousin, which is much harder to find in Singapore. The profile of it's leave are the same except that it's yellowish and greenish band of stripes is horizontal vs the vertical stripes found on the attached Snake plant. Worse still, this cousin is also called Snake plant but it has another tongue in cheek name: Mother-in-l…

I tried typing in the url: http://www.risis.com.sg It brought me to the RISIS site which has figurines of:- Chinese zodiac animals, dragons etc... Which I believe will be interesting as they have some `unique' Chinese figurine designs. By the way, I am not associated with them at all. In the past, I do keep a collection of their gold plated Chinese animal signs e.g monkey, chicken, ox etc.. They are still around:) Warmest Regards, Cecil
