Nice restoration of a shop-front @ Joo Chiat Place

On a Saturday morning... and cannot even find a parking space @ a client's landed home...

This home marked in purple as A/B has two gate entrances. And the main entrance is never directly facing towards the frontage or the gate (area). Furthermore, it is "deeper" in thus make it less likely to be threatened by a "run-away" car.

From this angle, this home seems to be concerned with how uncomfortable; the road-way. Fortunately, this is Singapore and cars are "right-hand" drive. Plotting a virtual outline of how cars would flow around this property shows that it is not "threatened" by the movement of cars.

As mentioned; previously; based on common sense; the test is whether a run-away car can slam into a home / gate or garden... In this example; it might be possible for both homes: marked in red = A and/or marked in purple = B. In doubt; avoid purchasing such homes.

This graffiti is not your regular "Grandmother's road" type of graffiti. For one, it is officially sanctioned and approved! So no one will go to jail or caned for vandalism of a void deck...

Many times in the past, whenever I am at Compass Point Shopping Centre; nearly scraped/brushed my ankle (leg) against the sharp edges of the plant pot. In fact, on a few occasions; when it is crowded and when tried to side-step other pedestrians had brushed my legs against it. Ouch!

This is another variation (design) of the Qi Lin. Under symbolism in Feng Shui; this pair seems to be "very strong" tough and well endowed then it's other cousins found on other main entrance pillars.

An unexpected visitor arrived outside my client's under construction semi-detached home. Look who's the alien visitor?

On all SIA flights: there is no such thing as ROW number 13. In the photo; you will see that there is a Row 12. And then followed by 14. Where is "row 13?" = none.

This home owner seems to love planting several varieties of cactus. In the past, some plant such plants at corners of homes to deter someone climbing illegally e.g. a thief into one's home...

To our young Singaporeans; all BTO's are often a heavy "expense" or burden. Some young couples would say "Not cheap".... and nowadays you can't even pay back the 99 year lease within 5 years! Yet alone... 15 years or more...

Singapore has very few circular blocks of flats (a condo). In this case three circles that form the distinctive The Draycott (around Stevens Road). Often, one thing for sure; it is more difficult for built-in cabinets and wardropes...
