Uncommon to find a pair of elephant figurines at establishments in Singapore. Elephants are revered in both India and Thailand. This Elephant seems oriental as the body of the elephant has the carvings of the five claw dragon.

Again, this is pure commonsense that if we can avoid; try to avoid staying near to petrol stations. Where possible, since this new estate: Compassvale Beacon does not have any units on the ground level; try to avoid staying on the second or even third level; as a safety precaution against vapour or fumes from the daily pumping of petrol / diesel and the storage and filling up by petrol tanks..

And this ain't the ghost busters! Yesterday, I was taking a usual stroll, minding my own business... until I pounced upon a home with such a signage. After my near-by visit to a client, I walked passed the fence! And really, a midsized dog, ran towards the gate.. (a real gate keeper) barking and he or she jumped on the fence and wanted to make minced meat out of me! Believe me! This sign is FOR REAL!

Some buildings are difficult to be conceived as a "dragon building". I am pretty sure, anyone looking at this building and some basic knowledge of FUNG SWAY would conclude that; yes, maybe, it looks like a GREEN DRAGON! You agree or NOT?

This home places a lone "fierce" tiger guarding the home. If one notice carefully, the tiger's back is protected by a vast network of a cactus plant! Truly extreme and one of it's kind....

These photos were taken via the Iphone4 with the 360 degree paranomic view software. Some photos show the Iconic new Pinnacle @ Duxton (backdrop) against old buildings along Bukit Pasoh Road. Some of the buildings date back to 1920's. Many of the buildings are known as PRE-War (Pre-World War II) buildings....
