  2. Overview: Bukit 828 showroom launching soon... The actual site of Bukit 828:- In the past, before the advent of BKE, the only way from most parts of the island is to drive past this area; the next marker is Mandai Road before reaching Woodlands then the causeway leading to Malaysia. Then, we do not need to use our International passport. We had another "passport" with the words "Restricted Passport" meant only to be used between Singapore and West Malaysia.

    1. There are lots of varieties of bamboo plants. 2. Overall, bamboo plants are very hardy and easy to grow. And often they multiply very fast. Bamboo plants grow in a cluster and does not have a single tree trunk. In no time, it will grow side-by-side with many shoots. 3. The disadvantage about growing bamboo plants is that it needs proper maintenance. And if we just simply cut it close to the surface; it can be a breeding point of mosquitoes. And in addtion, when it becomes too dense, could also be a heaven for snakes.

Picture taken in November 2007, Shanghai, village outskirts. Do you know that all "genuine" Chinese pagodas must be odd numbers (odd numbers of levels & roof). Odd numbers represents yang. While even numbers represent yin. Thus, all pagodas, depending on how high or how many levels must either be: 3, 5, 7, 9 .... levels.

I was trying to figure out what is the purpose of having a solid metal iron grille gate(SMIGG) in front of the opening of the centralised rubbish cute. I feel that it is a hindrance to have such a SMIGG for the centralised rubbish cute for severalreasons: 1. Often one's hands are full carrying rubbish to be thrown away. And, yet have to fiddle with the SMIGG. 2. In addition, if one looks at the photos,it is near impossible to leave theSMIGG fully opened all the time as it will partially block the escape staircase. Or make it difficult for someone at the other end of it to come in! 3. Even for myself, the SMIGG really weighs a ton! And most likely made of iron. And thru ti…

Further to what I had mentioned earlier, another unique feature of this condo is that not only the frontage receives wealth but also the back receives wealth in equal proportions. "It is said that wealth comes to you in both directions" CAUTION: Not all units receive good luck. Units that directly face west, may not be as auspicious, thou. As the afternoon sun can create some sha qi. Usually best units are those with a North-South or South-North orientation as they are not bathed directly with sunlight.

As mentioned, fortunately, the road leading towards this side of Kim Seng Road is only one way. And the one way is say from marking in red B to A. If one were to walk slowly from the pedestrian path from A to B; and new to the area, will need to ponder over the signage or look back!

    1. This water feature was taken sometime in the 1950's. It is 60 donkey years ago! 2. Can you see the miniature hexagonal pavilion? Such Chinese pavilions are very popular in the past: and comes in all shapes e.g. circle; square; hexagonal and octagonal pavilions. 3. Today, such water feature cum landscaping is close to obsolete unless it is a purposeful theme park type of structure. 4. Although such pavilions ting can be found in temples; these pavilions are equaly and not exclusive to temples or religious places. As such structures can be found in Chinese theme parks and gardens - to provide shade and shelter. 5. On the ri…

Dear All, Further to what I had mentioned, personally, I have not used this product. I have being using two or more Honeywell's HEPA clean air devices and also Amcor (with negative ion) HEPA cleaners for the last 3 years running 24 hours (instead) to clean the surrounding air. I strongly believe that such HEPA cleaners does help to `circulate' qi within enclosed aircon environment. For those who frequently fall sick or family members frequently fall sick; I strongly believe that these devices; have a higher success rate than say buying a hulu (bottle gourd) or some other physical `Feng Shui' cures. Nowadays, the Japanese brands have come up with better systems - but howev…

Many shops cover their new signage with either red cloth or red paper prior to the opening of their shop. These photos were taken today at Singapore's newest North-East shopping icon: NEX.

These three houses are predominantly:- Metal element houses with water (roof tiles grey) and some protective triangle - fire element. A house under such a threat should, for example:- 1. Use red brick side walls (fire element) and red clay roof 2. The house under threat should also add pointed protective triangle - fire element for it's roof, garage roof, windows similar to these three houses. 3. The external wall can be painted in an earth colour tone. Here, fire element can help to control the metal element houses. And earth can help to absorb water back to the house. 4. In addition, a water position properly positioned in the house under threat can help to retain water…
