I believe this is the first time that you have heard how the painting or embroidery of the 100 birds came about:- 1. One day a Ching Emperor just got married. He was impressed with the Dragon and Phoenix wedding card that an artist had produced for him. 2. He summoned the artist to the court. And this Ching Emperor decreed that the artist must for him a "trophy-painting" of him (the Emperor) with all his concubines in the painting. 3. The Emperor commanded that none of his concubines must be left out else the artist would pay a penalty for each concubine missing in the painting. 4. With the help o…

Hi Master Lee, remember reading in one of the forum topic about moving the kuan yin to new house. my father in law was temporary staying with us for 9months and now moved to his new flat few weeks ago. they have chosen last fri(10/4) to be the day to move kuan yin and ancestor to his new flat. as there will be a master performing ritual at the new site.we were being asked to pray to god in the morning at our place and tell them we are moving them over to new place. we do not know how to go about doing it and did not mention the new address.we were only told to place all in boxes with the joss stick still burning and carry it over to the new place. There after i was havi…

1. Usually, there is no hard or fast rule with regards to eating or throw away the fruits etc... 2. For example, when some of us collect our keys for the first time; homes can be in different conditions:- 2.1. Some homes like new condos are usually reasonably clean, with proper floor tiles etc... 2.2. While some homes (or apartments) are totally bare e.g. the floor is still rough cement surface etc... 3. Thus in the above example, especially fruits placed under Para 2.2 - may be unhygenic to consider eating for some. 4. However, when one is performing a move-in procedure, usually by then one has the floor tiles done up, and kitchen appliances such as the refigeratio…

1. Frankly there are a few remedies but they involve some changes or activity. What it tries to achieve is to have the door "protected" from the poison arrow (sha qi). 1.1. Is it possible to relocate the door? Or tilt the door. (It is best that tilting be done by a professional). 1.2 Fencing between the T section and the main door. Or any other landscaping with the use of bushes or plants. Usually best that the actual layout is looked at to further determine if there are any other possible "cures". The last resort or alternative to the ba gua is hanging a six-hollow rod windchime.

1. Please note that burying a jar of holy water underground is not a traditional Chinese practise. Have we ever wondered what happened after the holy water dried up? 2. The common practises are:- 2.1. Tilting the door to a certain degree OR 2.2. burying a bronze or copper (copper cum bronze) ruler at the main door to deflect the compass bearing especially if the facing direction is at a compass degree that straddles between one compass direction to the next. Commonly known as the zone of "empty - blank - nowhere"

Are you referring to the corner of the bookcase - at an angle (poison arrow) aimed at your bed? Usually, the corner of a bookshelf is made of wood; and the approximate poison arrow is around 2 feet distance. While a full concrete wall would exert a poison arrow of 1 metre distance. Often just move the bookshelf further away if possible.

Hi, I notice I have no fire element in my Bazi but have a lot of water. IS this considered bad for my work, health or romance life? What simple things I can do to balance it? Thanks.

1. Most professional Feng Shui practitioners apply both Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui. 2. As the name suggests, Compass School Feng Shui needs the "correct" compass direction of a home. And under this school we have the Eight House Theory and the Flying star Feng Shui. 2.1. Once the compass direction of a home is known, the interior chart can be looked at for the 20 year Feng Shui as well as yearly Feng Shui. 3. If one lives in a landed property; there are instances where neighbours move out, resold or renovate their home. Often changes to the neighbourhood would affect the Feng Shui of a landed property. In such a situation, one can still e.g. take pic…

1. Ba Zi or Four Pillars is above one's Heaven Luck. 2. Under the Holy Trinity of Luck:- Heaven Luck (born with) = The other two sets of luck are:- Earth Luck & Human Luck Both also accounts each for 33.3333% of luck. 3. Thus, his hope is to either improve both his earth luck and Human Luck. 4. Earth luck can be systematically improved using things like Flying star - to activate certain locations and sectors. For example good mountain stars can be activated for networking and relationship luck. 5. Another category is Human (factor) not so much luck but rather Human opportunties.. Get him to join some activites or even if he is not so choosy, nowadays.. the…

Frankly Feng Shui cannot be done by remote control. Thus, you are correct to do a Feng Shui of your condo since primarily this is your abode (home). While the other address is a "depository". In addition, if it ain't broken, don't need to fix it, does apply.

Hello, Am confused which to follow: 1. According to my Bazi chart, my most favorable element is earth. Next favorable is water. - so from this chart, my house should face either SW, NE or N. However, I also read from one of your posts that under Period 8, North facing houses are the least lucky houses. 2. According to 8 mansions theory, my most favorable directions are: N, S, E, and SE. 3. Since you say that the North facing houses are the least lucky for Period 8, should I focus on either South or East facing? I know there are other considerations to factor in like shapes and form and flyings stars, but I'm just asking as a general question only. What do I fol…

1. Usually, both Shapes and Forms Feng Shui and Compass School Feng Shui is used to properly determine whether a location is suitable for the placement of a water feature. 2. Thus, it may or may not be left or right side of the door. 3. Compass School Feng Shui prominently uses Flying Star Feng Shui to detect water wealth location. While Shapes and Forms, has a bit of commonsense, as it would not be practical to have a water feature at the entrance if it blocks or hinders movement in and out of the home. 4. What you are asking is close to "trial and error" or something like - might as well as flip a coin = 5. Thus, Feng Shui is about making an analysis to determin…

1. Frankly, the number of pillars and glass is more symbolic or based on cultural preferences like Cantonese dialect group seems not to like 4 etc... 2. Other considerations include having an auspicious width of the partition. Most of the time, for government Housing Board flats, if the main door is immediately next to a side of a wall, then often, an optimium width of the partition is between 106 to 109 cm and if more exact, it could be 107 cm. Some partitions can be longer approximately 127 cm thereabouts.

Further to what I had mentioned, I will be more concerned if it is 100 bats "flying" away as unlike birds (which is not highly regarded unless it is the stork - long life), the bats are reverered - and highly regarded. As the phonetic sound of bats is that of good fortune and often denotes happiness! And often 5 bats symbolises "five blessings" in life!

1. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, yes, one has to be careful of angular objects particularly the "tip" especially if it faces or aimed towards a bedroom or an "opening" such as a bedroom door or the main door. 2. Otherwise, in general, it may still be acceptable to place it at common areas - should normally be ok.
