1. As mentioned, previously there are TWO differing views:- 1.1. One view is that ONLY when EXISTING foundation is demolished and a new foundation come up can the site (building change qi). 1.2 The other view point is based on symbolism. And there are many different view-points as to what may constitute a change. Thus I am only stating or collating the various view points:- The views range from:- 1.2.1 Entire building refreshed with coat of paint (and refurbishment)and the whole house gets refreshed with a coat of paint. 1.2.2 For an apartment, one view point is that since the roof cannot be removed, the ceiling of the home could be given a coat of paint - and this s…

1. Definitely, commonsense dictate that if one calls one or more Feng Shui practitioners; you will definitely get different advice. 2. As mentioned in many previous postings, there are many considerations when placing a fish tank and other matters like colours in the home. 3. Your question to me is like: two practitioners, two different advise, and how? 3.1 Frankly, I am this side of the world, even if Australia is close-by: not seen your layout plan nor anything else for that matter. 3.2 You have to be realistic and even if you asked me how many fishes 8 or 9 is correct? without any reference to proper Feng Shui tools like: the compass directions, the flying star ch…

1. Frankly, it is best to apply Flying Star Feng Shui to look at the sector of your parents bedroom sector since you mentioned that your mum had a stroke. 2. If parents bedroom straddle between two compass directions then one has to evaluate and find out more whether any of the nasty sickness stars such as #5 = misfortune, sickness and #2 sickness. 3. The above are more important than a 2 dimension view of the bedroom or second guessing whether the bed is better to be placed next to the bedroom door or the other end. 4. You have to properly evaluate all these instead of prematurely, seeking advise. As it is like the blind leading the blind! And what can be worse! If s…

1. You can always obtain a Feng Shui ruler and use the good ruler measurements. Please note that most Feng Shui ruler has two columns. You should be using the top column (measurement) as this is meant for Yang Feng Shui or for the living. 2. Except for an altar, an altar needs to be most optimum by using the auspicious measurements that coincide with both the top and bottom measurements. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-ruler.htm 3. Alternatively, you can the mulitple of 17 inches for the door. Thus, the width could be 17 inches x 2 =34 inches. And the height of the door in multiples of 17 inches x ( ) = . 4. If one does a SEARCH in this forum…

As a final option, individuals who are extremely pressed for time and need to begin renovations right away can opt to perform the initial open door procedure and remove all items after waiting for one hour. This is typically the case when the client has to vacate their current residence, has just received the keys, and must start renovations immediately.

1. From one of the Feng Shui concepts using the compass direction:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-workposition.htm 2. As you had mentioned earlier, if you are unable to change position, then this option is out! 3. The commonsense is to see how you can maximize your luck in other areas of your life:- The Concept of Maximizing Marks 4. In a situation, where as you had mentioned you cannot change position, then no matter how much you "bang" your head against the wall, you may have to maximize luck from other areas of your "life". Often, it can be your earth luck = home (& office) etc... 5. Factors like if there are any "wealth" leaks such as …

Two formats available: either: .pdf format or .png Anonymous wrote: Dear Master Cecil, Could you please advise on the planning of the hall layout as per attached: 1) The kitchen is within the line of sight of the main door entrance. I am planning to build a partition to block it. Full height or half height? 2) Is the current location of the dining table acceptable? 3) The fridge is beside the toilet wall. Should I change it with the sink? 4) The sofa is also directly in line with the entrance. Is this ok? Thanks and gratefully yours, Anon

This is a recent reply to the same type of question that you had just posted:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=4&mid=23630&new= 1. We have to differentiate between Yin Feng Shui and Yang Feng Shui. 2. Yin Feng Shui can be known as Feng Shui for the dead. Yang Feng Shui is Feng Shui for the living. 3. The Eight House can be applied to both Yin and Yang Feng Shui. 4. Usually in a Yin Feng Shui environment, the person is dead, immovable object. Thus, it would be good to have the person within the good sector to "defend" against external factors. Thus, it is good to have the person absorb good qi as what you have mentioned. 5. Under…

1. Typically, it is advisable to keep the garage separate from the main living space, but this decision ultimately hinges on the overall layout of the house. In certain cases, integrating the garage with the home may be unavoidable. 2. In general, the devil's gate concept can be linked to the Flying Star theory. If the northeast sector exhibits predominantly "yin" Flying Star numbers, then this could raise some red flags. Otherwise, it is usually not a significant concern. +++ In Summary " The inclusion of the garage in a home's Feng Shui considerations depends on the overall energy balance of the property. Additionally, the alignment of devil's gate w…

1. Please note that there are different interpretations with the regards to to the Four Symbolic Animals:- 1.1. Shapes and Forms If you consider shapes and forms then, literally the dragon is suppose to be on your left and the tiger on the right. As what you had mentioned. 1.2. Compass School Compass School interpretation is different. And strictly, North = Black tortise, while South = Red phoenix; East = Green Dragon and West = White (Metal) Tiger. Reference: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/theories/fs-four.htm Katrina L. wrote: Hello Master Lee According to your article and under Shapes and Form feng shui --- The dragon is located to my left (representing East) …

Please refer to another recent request of "which unit is best in this site-map". If I were to analyse and reply to this type of questions, in no time, I will be flooded with more and more site-plans - asking which units are better. And these are very specific questions and not Free General Advise questions. AND THE BUCK STOPS, HERE!

1. More importantly, usually what is mentioned in this forum is based on general comments or specific to a home and it's environment. And not all homes can be "slotted" into either abony or ivory type of situation. 2. Thus "IT DEPENDS!". 3. Usually, the home that is "configured" rebuilt "last" would hopefully gain a better advantage. 4. http://www.geomancy.net/products/po-hunting/po-hunting-faq.htm Under this link, please check-out CASE STUDY 1 - The Meyer Place Condominium. Here, in this example, the bungalow, "below" happens to have two roofs. And this apartment at 4th storey has a balcony that looks like two hands in a "receive" position. 5. For most of the arti…

1. Please note that the term that you had used should not be called "FAKE" or geniune. BUT rather, ALL Feng Shui products should be called "MODERN Commercial Products". 2. Thus majority of Feng Shui products are modern inventions and NOT fakes! Only antiques can be called geniune or fakes. 3. Many Feng Shui products are often symbolic. Thus, things like ancient or replica I-Ching coins e.g. those round coins with square holes may be used. Thus you can't call these coins fakes, unless someone tries to sell you one and you later found out that it is fake. 4. Thus, some symbolic traditional items that are often used by Feng Shui practitioners may include:- 4.1 Hulu or bo…

Appended by Cecil: Please refer to my last forum reply. This is a Free General Advise Forum and as I had mentioned, it is so simple to furnish a site plan or a street direction plan. And then ask the question: Tell me which unit is better. All these needs lots of attention and effort to look into the fine details. All such site plans will not be evaluated within this Free GENERAL advice forum. Here is the details map...

1. Please note that a home can be considered as falling into any one of the 24 sectors. And there are differences in where your home frontage is (main door) etc... As ALL landed property would normally have two or three exit drainage points: and 1 or 2 are meant for wealth luck. and the 3rd exit point is usually for "Power and authority" (e.g. a politician, staying a home can weld great power or a boss / CEO). 2. Thus, all these new proper analysis. It is not like typing a few sentences and then "you get your answers immediately". http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F#IS_THE_DRAINAGE_OF_MY_HOUSE_IMPORTANT.3F 3. Without the above, might as well …

1. In my opinion, for a newbie to Feng Shui, one may not understand the implication. 2. Usually, the placement of the six coins is meant more as a "cure" than your literal translation of placing coins at the back of the home thus leaking wealth away. 3. IN GENERAL, it is common for Feng Shui practitioners to draw up a chart of a home. For example, each of us have our own date and time that we are born. And a home also has a birth-chart. 4. Thus this home birth-chart is popularly based on what is known as "Flying Star - Compass School Feng Shui'. Frankly, please don't ask me to explain what is Flying Star or Compass School. One has to do more research or use the SEARCH…

1. Frankly, withoutdrawing a proper Flying Star Chart, all advise, here is based solely on "trial and error" type of Feng Shui. 2. For example, under a Flying Star chart, one should have a clear picture of what are the star numbers # within that sector. And if that sector contains nasty stars like #3 or happen to have this star, then, in-deed a fire-place light would be useful to "burn" away this otherwise bad = quarrels, conflicts, legal entanglement star. 3. Some Feng Shui practitioners advise to use symoblic items such as placing a couple of family photos at the "romance sector". Another common item by modern Feng Shui practitioners is a pair of duck. This is accept…

1. For new unconstructed buildings, one may look at or consider whether it is feasible to "lock up" bad stars e.g. by building a store room at this area. 2. If it is a built up home or completed home, then commonsense prevails that it is damn ugly or silly to place e.g. a wind chime "smack" in the middle of the home. I know some Feng Shui practitioners do advise placing something like that. And these are the same practitioners that may tell the client " Don't ever use your master toilet" etc... 3. Many of us stay long term in a home. And a Geomancer only comes to our house often once in their life and for 1 or 2 hours. And to provide such advise i.e. never use the maste…

1. Please note that the article is only based on general comments and statements. 2. And it does not apply only to churches. 3. In my part of the world, some temples are "clean" while others would cause concern. For example, try using a Chinese Luopan at certain temples and it maydetect some form of entity. 4. Symbolically, it is considered inauspicious to face symbols such as a cross or it's spine etc... Katrina L. wrote: I've been reading your free articles. The two major schools of Feng Shui:- 1. Shapes and Forms 2. Compass School of Feng Shui (Eight House/Flying Star) All homes that have "Quantum Leap" in Feng Shui MUST have good Shapes and Forms. Having good Compass School "directions" is nice to have. Majority if not all homes that have "Quantum Leap" cannot fully depend only on Compass School, Feng Shui. This is the difference between the two major schools of Feng Shui.

1. The smart, gets good advise the first time they search for a new home. They do it once, RIGHT, that's all. And the smart goes to concentrate on better things to do! 2. The ignorant, buys the home and then pays Feng Shui emporiums to stock their homes with rubbish products. 3. The ignorant, also asks Geomancers for first-aid in the form of "pasting elastoplast" all over their "leaking" home. So which is more important? Invest in advise to purchase a good home? Or wait until the home is purchased before calling a Geomancer to apply first-aid to resuccitate the home?
