Dear Max, Toilet Feng Shui is actually related to "Commonsense" then Feng Shui. Thus if one wants to call it: "Commonsense approach to Feng Shui". This is because one day, while I was driving on a highway; this person was saying that whenever we flush the toilet (bowl), germs "fly" all over the toilet. Even if the our toothbrush was a distance away; it will still contain some-form or type of baterial e.g. e-coli etc... Makes sense? Rite? Well, whathe asks us to do? Buy histablets to frequently dis-infect our toothbrush in it. Much like thosedenture cleaning agents! Therefore, does this not equate to "Toilet Feng Shui" where toilet qi is said not to be good? We…

  2. Dear Anon, Please see below:- 1. Feng Shui, like other methods, provides a sense of hope in various ways. It creates opportunities for us to explore with optimism. 2. However, it is important to consume Feng Shui in moderation. 3. It is natural for people to seek self-improvement, and in my view, when applied in moderation or correctly, Feng Shui can have remarkable effects. 4. On the downside, I am aware of numerous cases where individuals have either applied "Fast Food Feng Shui" on their own or placed excessive trust in Feng Shui, leading to negative consequences such as purchasing too many objects like wind chimes. 5. Currently, I …

  3. Common sense (Cs) 1. The concept of "Common sense" takes precedence over Feng Shui in various aspects. For instance, the visibility factor plays a crucial role. Leaving the toilet door open may not be considered appropriate as it can be unpleasant to see inside a toilet or toilet bowl. However, some individuals, particularly young boys and men, may not mind it. The scenario changes if an attractive girl is using the toilet with the door slightly ajar. Common sense & more Cs 2. Another common-sense consideration is the direction in which the toilet door opens. It is recommended for the door to open inwards, while sliding or folding doors are …

  4. Dear Pam, 1. Given the unique nature of each home, it is inaccurate to generalize that all foreclosure homes have bad Feng Shui. 2. Unfortunately, business problems may not always be directly related to the Feng Shui of a home. Issues such as a flawed business model, poor marketing, or planning can also contribute. 3. Therefore, it is not always the case that foreclosure homes are the root cause of an individual's problems. 4. When dealing with a previously foreclosed home, it may be necessary to apply Feng Shui remedies more assertively to address any negative energy. 5. Even in homes that have not been foreclosed, it is important to check for si…

  5. 1. From my perspective, I have encountered numerous individuals who have opted for resale condominiums. Nevertheless, the majority of these units are fitted with either new or reasonably well-maintained stoves. Many people deem it unnecessary to replace such appliances. 2. This tendency is a fundamental aspect of human nature. When we receive feedback, particularly from our parents, we often engage in deep reflection regarding our actions. 3. Frequently, it requires someone close to us to provide critical feedback in order to stir feelings of guilt within ourselves. 4. Your inquiry is primarily centered on personal beliefs and does not pertain to the princi…

  6. Dear Chan, I1. I believe this concept leans towards modernity and common sense, particularly in a contemporary household where the kitchen, despite the abundance of electrical appliances, stands out as a crucial element, such as the stove. Therefore, the kitchen poses the highest risk of a fire starting. 2. It is common knowledge that in the event of a fire, it is likely to spread to the upper level, intensifying the heat on the ceiling shared with the floor above. 2.1. To mitigate this risk, it is advisable to either minimize cooking in the kitchen or ensure that all flammable items are stored safely. 2.2. Additionally, the installation of smoke detec…

Hi Master, We are collecting keys on Friday 17-Dec-2021 but looking at the dates it is unsuitable for my husband and I to open door on that day. However, we have a tight timeline for renovation and my ID will like to drop by on the same day for site measurements. Is it ok for us to let him open the door and enter for the work to be done? Also, could you advice if its better for us to do the ceremony on 18/19 Dec? Husband date of birth: [xx-xx19xx] Wife date of birth: [xx-xx-19xx] Thank you! Dear Master Lee, I bought a new house and did not do the procedures for "FIRST-TIME OPEN DOOR" when I open the door 2 weeks ago. I have only moved in some stuff to the garage, not sleep in it yet. The house is not cleaned. Can I still do the "FIRST-TIME OPEN DOOR" procedures before the MOVE-IN procedures? I plan to move in this Saturday. Thank you.

Dear Sonia, 1. In my view, and to be honest, a house number containing a 4 is not necessarily unfavorable. 2. In Cantonese, the number 4 is associated with the word 'SAY' which means 'DIE'. 3. Therefore, a Cantonese individual who may also be superstitious might prefer not to have a house number with a 4 in it. 4. Personally, my current residence is #04-01 and my new house, which will be ready soon, also contains "45" (i.e. a 5 in it). 5. I still decided to purchase it because, overall, as you mentioned that you 'liked it'. In my case, I have assessed the home based on: - Shapes and Form, - Eight House - Flying Star to confirm that it 's…

Hi Penny / Master Cecil Thanks your interest. Looking at the whole block is also quite confusing as the lift lobby is facing South, looking out at a carpark, not very bright. When I try taking South as the facing, I go back to my unit, South is the kitchen area, quite dark (less sunlight comes in here) and looks more like the back than the front. Hence I have to seek advice from Master Cecil as to where is the actual facing. What happens if my facing is my neighbours' sitting direction as point block is a square, all 4 corners has a unit. Master Cecil, would greatly appreciate your advice. Best Regards Em free-advice Listmanager wrote: From: "Emily Ho" Dear Master Ce…

These are some considerations: 1. Sun rays 1.1. Ideally, in an East / West direction; avoid the altar "soaked" in direct sunlight. 1.2. Thus if there is direct sunlight that shines and heat up the altar say from 7.30am to 10.30 or even 11 plus depending on the location it is placed, then there should be a blind or screen or curtains to shield the altar from direct sunlight.. 1.3. The above is more so, if the altar faces or has part of it soaked by the afternoon sun. It is not like you can go and buy a rayban sunglass for e.g. Guan Yin. 2. Ideally, the altar should not share the same wall as the toilet and also avoid having it face the bedrooms etc.. 3. Both in the Indian…

Dear Berth, Currently, it is difficult to imagine the loft you mentioned. Therefore, I can only provide feedback on certain aspects. 1. A straight staircase to the loft is not as desirable as one with a landing and turns. 2. The higher the vaulted ceiling, the better, but a 20 feet height is ideal. 3. Painting the ceiling like a sky, especially in blue, may result in problems, especially for the breadwinner. 4. If you are concerned about marriage, consider doing a Flying Star chart, especially if the inauspicious sector is in your bedroom. 5. Having a window in the house is good, and it's acceptable to place a curtain. Congratulations on…

  14. Dear Sullivan, Apologies; what I was talking about has more to do with "openings" in a home that e.g. allow light to filter into it. Therefore, the idea is that, for example, if one side of the home is littered with lots of windows, doors, balcony, patio or sliding doors; therefore, it implies that with so many openings, there is a higher probability that this side is the facing direction. Although, a side where there is higher intensity could SEEM to be the facing side. But, often, this is not the main consideration. For example, for a bungalow that has four sides, and if the facing direction is North-South facing (e.g North - facing and South - sitting), just beca…

Dear Sir, I came across your website by chance. I stay in Australia. Please advise which is the best position for my Buddhist and ancestor altar. In fact, when I was watching some Taiwan fengshui program. They always said that it is not advisable to had a toilet, kitchen stove and bedroom behind the altar. Given the space constraint, I don't think anyone is able to fulfil all the requirement of having an ideal altar site. We can only do our best. on. Position A is the current position. It has 回风煞 and toilet issue. Unless I seal up the entrant on the right. Position B will result in the altar facing the door however the …

I would like to change to location 'E' at the balcony in the NW area facing south. I have check the afternoon sun which is coming from SW , which does not shine on the Guanyin or ancestor tablet.. 20. 1. Please see sample illustration. 2. As both Mr and Mrs are Strong Fire persons; one of their binding elements is METAL. 3. Thus if both are the owners or subsidiary proprietors of a condo unit; then it is better to get a Guan Yin that e.g. has pure white clothing (less the colourful lotus leaf colours) that she sits onto. 3.1 Or the clothing she wears is gold in colour. 3.2 Usually the figurines have "natural tone" colours. 4. The next thing is to walk around and stare at her face. Often, instinctively, if one likes that statue's face; then this is a potential buy. 5. Often the other more common material is a wooden Guan Yin figurine or a Guan Yin that has substa…

These are some of the considerations: 1. A picture or sketch tells a thousand words = none. 2. What kind of altar is it? 2.1. A Catholic altar? 2.2. A typical Chinese altar? Even within the Chinese altar; there are many groupings:- 2.2.1 Ancestor altar 2.2.2Guan Gong (usually face the main door) 2.2.3Guan Yin (Goddness of Mercy) 2.2.4Jade Emperor etc... 3. Even buddha "altar". 4. Indian pooja or puja room / altar. 5. In general; an altar:- 5.1. Should not have it's back against a toilet wall 5.2. facing a bedroom 5.3. Preferred that it should not be at the NE or SW sector of a home 5.4. Placed below abeam There are LOTs more.. just that my fingers need to crawl somewhere …

    1. If they share the same wall but different level is OK. 2. Just check to make sure that especially: 2.1. The altar does not share a wall with a toilet. Do check that directly above the altar, there should not be a bed especially a women's bed. Steve L. wrote: Hi, I know it's not good for your bed head to share the same wall as your altar. But, what if the wall is separated by floor level? The altar is on first floor while the bed is on second floor... Thank You James
