These are some considerations: 1. Based on a quick glance and using the "eye-ball" method; most likelyhood the centrepoint is as marked in PURPLE = please see attachment. 2. However, for some people, the centrepoint or rather the center-of-gravity would normally be along the range in blue between the range of marking "A" to "B" thereabouts.

  2. Dear Anon, For the ground floor, since there is a garage, best to close the garage door when not in use. Once this is done the middle door can still be left open without further issue. Thus if this is done, no longer compulsory to place the plants. For upper floors, try to close any one of the middleroom doors will do. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Is having a TV really bad inbedroom The rational behind a TV being bad is only because in the past the TV screens are more of those reflective types. Which looks similiar to a mirror. So it is said that when you sleep, your spirit leaves your body. It may get a shock when it sees itself in the TV screen. So this is why a TV is typically deemed bad. However, what if your spirit is the type that wants to look good, it will see itself in the TV, then comb your hair to before flying off. So ultimately, this is a matter individual perception. Furthermore, now-a-days with the LCD TV, there isn't any reflection at all. Furthermore, TV is a form of e…

Dear Anon, To be honest, some homes or apartments have bad Flying star numbers at the centrepoint of the home, especially under Period 7. Therefore, in general, a toilet is exactly not a major issue for such homes. Instead of placing those mirrors or screens or false wall, in my opinion, it is simply to leave it as it is. And, if possible, try to maximize or enhance qi or neutralise qi in a home in other areas. From a practical point of view, few if any nowadays, place a mirror at the toilet door. And those false walls is often very cumbersome to get in and out of the toilet when there is limited space. And most importantly the toilet if possible should be dry and ai…

    1. Usually indoor plants are often waxy and darker green colour. These are the most suitable indoor plants. 2. There are at least three very common bamboo plants. The advantage of bamboos are that they are very hardy and some varieties grow very well indoors with little maintenance. 3. Symbolically, to the Chinese, bamboo represents "youth" and when combined with some other characters could mean "longevity". 4. So long as the plants does not have thorns; they are generally acceptable although preference is on the porch and often not found in the interior of the home.

  7. Dear Buck Seng, Thanks for posting your message. Frankly, the hardest to reply are messages related to Shapes and Form especially if one is not physically present to comment. This is many things can be missed out e.g. especially whether the TPE follows towards the house in a curved manner inwards or outwards. In addition, the height of the flat and many more relating to the dragon and tiger elements etc... Therefore, I sincerely hope you understand that it is not fair for me to make a comment unless one is physically there. Shapes and Form assessment is unlike other questions posted here where it is about concepts etc... Other than Shapes and Form School, you sh…

Dear Cheryl, In my opinion, there should not be an issue with the situation that you had described. From a Feng Shui point of view, this is not an issue. There are some concern by some people only if there is a upper floor e.g. bedroom just above the car-porch. In such a situation, someone said that in the event that a car caught fire, it would be dangerous to have the car below this bedroom. But to be honest, how often have we heard that stationary cars catch fire. Alternatively, smoke detectors or fire safety sensors could be used, here. Warmest Regards, Cecil cheryl ludwig wrote: I am going to purchase a house. One of the ones I've looked at has a carport attached …

Hi Master Robert, thank you for your explanation .. 1.. i'm living on the 16-level 2.. have no balcony, living room windows are from wall-to-wall (3m- wide), thus i think it doesmake sense to refer that as the 'facing' 3.. but beside the living room, is the bedroom 1, then bedroom 2 which both bedrooms also have the same windows facing as the living room and also almost the same width .. do i need to take that into consideration? 4.. possible to re-generate my PAID report? how much would it be to re-generate? if not convenient, kindly email to me .. thanks 5.. if the new facing is 'worst' off than the current report .. should i use the current facing instead?

  11. Hi Cecil, One more consideration I thought I might add - this is a Kan house (front door and unobstructed view facing south-2 and sitting north) and the annual flying star number for the South sector is 5. 2-5 combo is supposed to be inauspicious as well. So we have the 3 killings, 5 yellow and a 2/5 trigram yearly combination in the bedroom. What can we do to cure the 2/5 combination? Is it safe to sleep in the bedroom at all? Thanks much! CK

  13. Dear Ber, Actually, it would greatly depend on what the FS teacher is analysis for and what are the tools he had used. Sorry, without details on the house or your information or even having seen your house, it is difficult or not proper for me to may any comments on this matter. It is also not good to have too many person looking at the same house. So long as you feel comfortable with his advices, then you should just follow it. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  14. Thanks for the sketch. 1. In my opinion, the house you mentioned does not seem to belong to that group called house at a "T-junction". Thus this is a plus point. 2. Like any other homes; due diligence is required. 3. From a Feng Shui point of view; there are lots more consideration: 3.1. As you had mentioned; any water flow that can be seen from the home leading out towards the exterior especially if they are not covered; 3.2. How the rainfall drains out of the home. 3.3. External threats if any from sharp pointed roofs of neighbouring homes and other threats such as lamp posts etc.. etc.. 3.4. The gradiency and many other factors include the interior layout of the home.…

  15. Dear Rich, Please see below:- ----- Original Message ----- From: "pillars-of-destiny Listmanager" To: Sent: Tuesday, August 22, 2000 7:21 AM Subject: Bed placement and opposing doors and windows The concept here is to get Qi to meander slowly circulating into the room. The most effective method is as you mentioned is to use a screen closer to the door area so that Qi that comes in thru the main entrance can slowly meander into the house. - Usually this is the best method. The screen in such a situation need not be full height but it should at least cover 3 quarters of the door (height). There are other alternatives like closing this side of the window so that Qi do…

Hi Master Lee My house has three doors in a straight line. The first door is the main door and is the biggest door. The 2nd door is the middle door and opening to the open concept kitchen, dinning and living room. The 3rd door is the sliding door and opening to our big backyard. I attached our floor plan below. We have an option to convert the 3rd sliding door to sliding window. Would this do any better in term of energy flowing? Please help. Warmest regards, Channa

  18. Dear Anon, Most practioners do not take into consideration the covered porch as it is not a `living quarters'. A few persons I understand took it wrongly to mean that this is a `missing' corner or a `protrusion.'. Since you are using a pie chart, you should usually consider up to the Main entrance door area. I agree that using a pie chart, is much easier than using the 9 squares method. What matters most is to be able to know what influences is at each of the sector. From here, you can then better place your furniture etc... Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mei Lee, Generally, it has more to do with "commonsense approach" to Feng Shui. This is because, if the site / slope is "well maintained" it is fine. But in some cases, such as poor piling done and due to heavy (or very heavy rainfall), and if the slope is not protected, we often see pictures on houses on the "hill" breaking up or the slope causing a landslide - coming down to the lower home. Frankly, this is quite rare. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Some of the considerations when buying a landed property be it already built or going to be re-built share common considerations:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F 2. Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui:- 2.1 Majority of home should have "clear space" at the "frontage" to allow qi to "collect": this could be the garden of the home etc... 2.2 If a tall condo "blocks" your view or if your new home is within "prying" eyes of the units of the condo facing your home... many feel that it is no longer "privacy" for the home. 3.
