If you have the time, please read this resource by Robert Lee:- Extract from this link APPLYING LOCATION FACTOR INTO BA ZI 3. Using GMT time zone is a bad way to apply the location factor, because GMT timezone only affects the longitude changes. Furthermore, GMT has been simplified so much so it is no longer as accurate as in the past. 4. Our stand on this issue is NOT to add these level of complication to the analysis. Meaning that you should just use your local time (regardless of what country), to analyse the Ba Zi. This is because if you truly understand how the Ba Zi works, the HOUR pillar will not make a maj…

Sorry, I hope not to sound too harsh in my earlier e-mail. 1. Further to what I had mentioned, I really feel sad that many of are taken in by modern commercial products. And it feels sad that many of such products are circulating around - in the name of "Feng Shui". 2. They should actually be classified as "decorative" items. And not, described as some important - in the name of Feng Shui cure or something like that. 3. Human nature is such: How often do we hear many people saying that when they have problems, one way to side-track their problem is to over-eat. Some of these persons, feel that over eating can simply "wish" their problems away! 4. Thus it is a real p…

I'm sorry for the cut-and-paste article. I should have posted the link instead. Nevertheless, thanks for your reply regarding my Q. I thought you would suggest 6 coins tied with a red string but I guess the #6m star in our house's natal chart makes up for it.

You said draw 2 charts and analyze the history of the house, we bought the house on 2007, we move in 2007, so we donot really know the history of the house. As for the former owner, they are very successfull in life. Other thing is that, it seems their are ghost or spirit in my house. My son and my husband sees figures sometimes. Can you advise how can I cleanse my house. Regards, elsa

1. In my opinion, honestly, it may or may not be coincidence! 2. As normally when we (professional) practitioners have to do an indepth study e.g. of one's home, check one's luck periods etc... 3. Assuming that there are currently no unlucky stars that appear for the home, then, it may be the case (associated) with what you had mentioned. 4. If your favourable elements are yellow (earth) and green/ brown (wood) than it is still best to go with these two colours. 5. In general, if you still continue to suffer an unlucky streak, without much improvement, then there is a higher weightage that this colour may likely have brought you inauspicious luck. Dear Rachel, Actually, that is not really contradicting at all. The balance of five element is for you to fine tune your favourable and unfavourable elements. You should simply just proritise the favourable elements in to the different percentage. For example, a strong water, favourable arewood (0%) / fire (26%) / earth (5%). This simply means that:- Wood (0%) is the most favourable Earth (5%) is the 2nd most favourable Fire (26%) is the least favourable as there is already more than sufficient. Same goes for the unfavourable element. For example Metal (50%) and Water (5%). Metal (50%) would be most unfavourable (so should avoid) Water (5%) would be the least un…

1. In addition, one must remember that we are in a modern society with internet connection. 2. Nowadays, nearly every part of the whole, Feng Shui is practised. And logically, how is it possible for everyone to be able to obtain the exact 6 series of coins? 3. A good Feng Shui practitioner will always tell their clients, not to "over spent" unnecessarily on - commercial Feng Shui products. Thus, to activate a "mountain" a simple red brick could be just as effective as an amertyst stone costing US$1K! 4. Thus, imagine we are on a ship, and it has a leak. Why pathe it with gold? Ultimately, the ship is sinking if we do not fix the leak, first! And the gold (or your gold …

Sample attachment also shows that if there is a corridor leading especially to bedrooms e.g. master bedroom etc.. then it is best also that the partition does not "slice" this passage way.

1. Frankly, location, location, location is the first importance. 2. For example, the external environment, the site, the block and lastly the unit are equally important. 3. Thus for a better understanding, Feng Shui should be looked in under all areas of Para 2. 4. Yes, usually, the master bedroom is at one end of unit. (in most cases). If in doubt, always try to forgo that unit, unless you sought professional advice (e.g. to review it's layout plan vis-a-vis the compass directions etc..) Quote: Lee I. wrote: I would like to know whether I should purchase a unit where the master bedroom is not the end of the apartment. The common bedroom is at the end.

Frankly, in my opinion, having done many (many, many) audits over the years; homes that range from "Quantum Leap" in Feng Shui to even "average" Feng Shui homes can sustain "such so called inauspicious" circumstances. Thus, honesty, the saying goes: "It depends!" No two homes are the same. Some homes (landed properties)may have the same layout, size and design but they are never on the same foundation of a plot of land. Therefore, we should be looking at each INDIVIDUAL case, for fair comment on each of them. For example, in some past forum messages, even under the Flying Star Feng Shui, if there is a cluster of "Yin" Flying Star numbers in a sector, and if this bedr…

1. Frankly, it depends! Since often, no two homes are the same. 2. Many of the considerations will also depend on how a person view where the centrepoint of a home is. And like all human beings, realistically, one may even get different results from different Masters! 3. The saying goes "Be realistic". In such a case (determining whether a home has a protrusion or indent) would make this more of an "art" rather than a science of Feng Shui! Therefore, we have to accept this fact in life! Quote: Amanda Y. wrote: How do we conclude that our house has a missing corner rather than a projection/protruding corner? For example, my house could either be considered a SOUTHWEST …

1. In GENERAL, under Period 8, it is highly good chance that a water feature at South-West can benefit "most" people as this is generally an "indirect-water" wealth spirit location especially if it is a balcony or patio area. 2. As mentioned in my earlier, message on your earlier question, we are talking about the Feng Shui of your home (earth luck). 3. Under the Chinese holistic approach to luck, there are three kinds of luck:- 3.1 Heaven Luck (what one is born with) and analysed via Ba Zi 3.2 Earth Luck (Your home, office, business or place of stay/rent) 3.3 Human or man luck (Relationships, family bonding etc...) and many also get conned thru"Bull-shit = buying of c…

Under the Flying Star Feng Shui, #9 represents the fire element. And fire inflames #2 (bad - weak - earth) and #5 (bad strong earth) elements. Not exactly the kind of cure one should intend to apply to these two bad earth stars. Maybe, just maybe for #3 (bad wood). In my opinion, therefore, it is not the normal convention to apply 9 coins for #2 and/or #5. However, as Flying Star analysis takes into account the 81 combinations of the Mountain and Water Stars, then in some cases, it may be used.

1. Everyone has his/her ba zi or "birth chart". A home also has it's own "birth chart". 2. Under the Compass School of Feng Shui: a home's ba zi (birth chart) is based on the Flying Star Feng Shui. Where e.g. what is the birth date of the home? And in addition it's specific direction. Thus a home can be a Period 8, North-West 1 home. 3. So long as one can properly identify where is the water wealth sector of a home, we can than "safely" place a water feature in (inside) the home. 4. Thus, decision made under Para 3; is made first, without consulting or checking to see if the owner (breadwinner)'s elements are suited or not. 5. Thus under Para 3, the breadwinner or sp…

1. In my opinion, technically, all the arguments are logical. 2. Majority of the time, below the staircase (or same spot) as the staircase, many contruct a store room. And this can help to "lock up the bad stars". In addition, it is always better not to have a bedroom or living area with really bad stars vs that of the staircase. 3. It is known fact that if possible, the stairs are covered (top and side). 4. As for wooden staircase, concrete, metal, all these can be based on the Five elements concept - if it does not have an impact of the building code, no issue. 5. Many homes with flaws such as corkscrew staircases etc.. may not necessarily give it a disadvantage. Fo…

Thanks for the explanation Master Lee. I guess the word "destroy" is not apt ?but rather that water "exhausts" fire.

1. The Flying Star concept uses the "Five Elements concept". And each Flying Star number is associated with the five elements. For example: #6 = strong metal and #5 = strong earth. 2. The 20 Year Flying Star Feng Shui In general each sector (North, South, East, West...) etc has three numbers; MS# W# B# (Mountain, Water, Base or Palace star). 3. When applying the Flying star, one should be looking strictly on the Flying Star numbers. Thus even in the West sector, if there is a double #8 then the rule of Flying Star applies that if this is the frontage a "proper water" position can be considered. 4. For simplicity, can understand that strictly North = Water, East = Wood…

1.1 For your convenience, you may like to go thru some of these links:- 1.2 This link has detailed resources of what makes a good water feature as well as an understanding of many of the issues with a water feature:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/What_makes_a_good_Water_feature/_fountain 2. Often, if a water feature has been placed at the wrong location, it may lead to roving eyes of either one of the partner. (Flower of romace or illicit relationship). The correction is as follows:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Roving_Eyes_or_Infidelity

1. There are many factors involved in Feng Shui when evalutating of a (new) home. 2. Since it is one of the largest investment that one is likely to make; if you are not sure, then try to get a competent practitioner to evaluate the home for you. 3. Traditionally, the number of the home is "transparent" to Feng Shui. 4. There are many different methods and formulas with regards to whether a house number is auspicious, inauspicious or neutral. 5. And in many instances, the phonetic "sound-like" e.g. Cantonese avoid #4 etc.... can affect the resale value (or marketing) of a home especially in a predominant area with some Chinese. 6. Numbers are a double-edged sword: F…

Master Cecil, Thank you for your prompt reply. As I am a male yin wood OX with 5 earth , 3 wood , missing water, fire and metal. As I am not well versed in Feng Shui and I gather from your sample that I can increase my unfavourable elements to compensate the missing ones in my ba zi reading and reduce earth and wood colours . Is that correct ? Thank You Mike .

1. You can check out this link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/arowanafish.htm 2. For example, if you have the time you may like to read articles Q3 and Q9 on the "Gua" and the "Ba Zi method. 3. Another traditional method is based on the Flying Star. Where :- 7 number of gold fishes represents metal element. And a black gold fish is added (to represent water). Thus in the past, a practitioner may advise an owner to rear 7 gold fishes + 1 black (symbolises water element) fish. Alternatively 6 number of gold fishes also represents (big ) metal element. And it is equally acceptable to use 6 gold + 1 black.

1. Many people are in your situation where they had purchased a home and started to "fiddle" with Feng Shui and Oops! this is bad or that is bad. 2. Most or many homes are fixed and based on the concepts that you had mentioned, they are meant more for those who have yet to build and trying to avoid such areas. Frankly there is no perfect home, and honestly there are relatively "no antidote" other than Para 2. (Which often is not practical which means moving out of a home....)Thus, you have look at other options of maximizing qi from other areas of the home:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Concept_of_Maximizing_Marks Quote: Steve J. wrote: Hello...
