In my opinion, it has nothing to do with Feng Shui. But falls under beliefs. Elephants are revered in several cultures especially in India and Thailand. In Thailand, white elephants (if found and authenticated); the owners were richly rewarded and will come under the Royal patronage. There were some cases where grey elephants were found, later to be "white". Anyway, elephants are revered for their strength and intelligence. And also are social animals. Thus, it is a good omen for your brother given also that elephants (in general) = longevity, strong and smart. A good hallmark for his coming newborn son.

I just read dried flowers are not good feng shui. We dried our wedding flowers (upside down) - should we toss or is there a safe place to keep it?

Dear Eli, Yes, I do concur with you that often artificial flowers do really make a place look nice - without the hassle and costs of frequently changing real (dying flowers). In fact, many will agree that artificial flowers especially single colour or multi-coloured ones often uplift us or make us feel good - factor. Dear Master Lee, I have issued that renovation work is very likely to complete between 2nd to 3rd week of August that falls in 7th month. Currently my husband and myself has been staying at sister's house for nearly 2 months. I have briefly mentioned that we might require to stay till 4/9 and that sort of bothering them. The door (especially bedroom door[s]) should not be moved unless they do not `adhere' to shapes and form Feng Shui. Dear Carrie, Based on the Five elements concept, you should wear wood colours e.g. green or brown. Avoid wearing Red, pink or purple. The purpose is to reduce the imbalance caused by too much earth. You must not add more earth, as this cause too much earth. Remember that the Five Elements is all about balance.
