In my opinion, if your office is on the 17th storey, the external building (and it's spine) and the mrt tracks are not considered a poison arrow or a sha qi. In fact, if there is really a threat, it could be the lamp post as shown in the attachment - especially for lower floors. Since you are at 17th storey, it is impossible for this lamp post to be a poison arrow. Concentrate on improving the Feng Shui of the interior of the office, instead.

Dear Scott, In case you need to some research paper on temples, perhaps, you can also consider looking for the following two books under Dr Evelyn Lip (a trained architect and lecturer) in libraries: Book 1: Feng Shui for Home Book 2: Chinese Geomancy A Layman's guide Publisher: Times Publishing Both books have good (authentic) references to ancient Chinese as well as some references/pictures of temples.
