Dear Jason, Please read below:- Yes, it does help. It is in fact the best alternative to improving your office if you are unable to relocate your sitting position. Fire would be more recommended, any pointed object or red colour will do just fine. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

These are some considerations: 1. Frankly, in Feng Shui; the realistic approach is applying Holistic Approach. 2. Here it is about Feng Shui Triage Proper trouble-shooting is required. 3. Logically, a house has many sectors. And frankly what makes it so sure that only your kitchen has problems. Sometimes one may be "barking up the wrong tree" if there are more than one problem or leaks.

Dear Cecil, Thanks for being a wonderfully helpful guy that you are! Really appreciate your patience! I do have a few more questions with regards to my master bedroom and my balcony (because of this taiwanese fengshui show that brings up alot of scary stuff). First of all, Balcony. It seems that the balcony is supposed to be the career area of the owners of a house (or something like that), thus one should not make changes to the balcony (or sorts). Question: However (please see diagram below), since ours has kinda been removed into a living room extension cum cosy corner of sorts, is there a problem then? What rectification can we do? Should one really usually…

1. Please note that Period 8 ranges from 2004 to 2023. During the past few months, I being posting this link very often:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2010.htm 2. Go check it out. 3. Must everything have a cure? In fact, in many instances, the commonsense cure is not to do it. We plan to put up a small business in front of the house, which is better, locate it in the Northeast or Northwest part. I'm East group, Kua4. The house was built in Period 8. 4. Please note that this is a free GENERAL advice forum.

Just writing to say thank you for my answer. It helps me out tremendously, AND it helps me understand one more aspect of feng shui that, until now, I have been a little unclear on. Thank you.

Dear Anon, If you just do a search, you can find my article on guidelines for the kitchen:- You can go to: Tips For The Kitchen Posted in: Info :: Feng Shui Tips & Guidelines Posted on: Sun, 01 Aug 2004, 06:06 AM And read the above article. In fact, toilet guidelines does exist. In general, where possible, try to have at least one wall of the toilet sharing an external wall. If the house has more than one storey, try not to have the toilet bowl (on the second storey) just above the main entrance door. In addition, for other toilets on the secondstorey, try to super-impose the location of the toilet onto say the 1st storey layout plan. Try not to have the toilet…

1. If one is trying to DIY; then one of the first report(s) especially for the Male and Female breadwinner(s) should be considered:- The Eight House Report: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-8h.htm Usually, from this report; especially the Male breadwinner's best facing direction should be considered. 2. The forum has lots of resources like what is considered as the facing direction etc... 3. Question like should the master bedroom be suitable to the Male breadwinner or sometimes both male and female breadwinners have different directions, then what? 4. If you want to DIY, you really (really) have to be patient and read up lots of resources. 5. Fo…

Dear Anon, Thanks for bring up this question. This morning, I have just taken a digital photo of the frontage of the Bank of India with the statues of two lions on both sides of the main entrance. Although, I have not taken a compass reading of the entrance; it is I believe facing South. (Definitely not West). There is no evidence to suggest that lion statues must face West. There are many buildings in Singapore with the lion statues and I do see them at the main entrance of buildings or shop front and again, they are not `West' facing. More importantly they are to be placed at both sides of the main entrance. Once I drawn the map of the location and the direction of the…

1. In my opinion, overall, this can be called an in-exact science (or rather art). 2. This is because of time-dimensions of the Flying Star Feng Shui. 3. Based on the concept of averages; even if one placed a mirror at the so called auspicious sector and or reflecting or bounce back whatever; over time (the longer the time) thegreater it averages out. 4. Under Flying Star, there is the 20 Year average chart, there is the Yearly chart, there is the universe where the month, the day and even the hour influence. 5. Thus, even if it is located at a good sector, somehow, it will "move" from auspicious to inauspicious sector: then how? You mean you will have to cover the mirr…

1. Often to understand the underlying issue or concern: The Three-Step-Approach 2. The two key considerations at NW are 2.1. Under the Trigram, NW belongs to the Heaven Trigram 2.2. It is also associated with the Male Head of the House 3. Why is it important not to have the kitchen = in particular the stove at NW? 3.1. Given that NW represents the Heaven Trigram; therefore a stove directly at the sector is like a Fire at the gates of Heaven. 3.2. This is why people call it "FIRE AT HEAVEN'S GATE". 4. Thus if there is a fire at the Heaven's gate; it symbolies "NO LUCK coming from HEAVEN". 5. Again, what I had explained is based purely on LOGIC. 6. Put on a thinking cap, …

The house is a single detached residential house within a compound. The swimming pool is a part of the house since it was situated at the first floor underneath the living and dining rooms. Some says that this is not good because it resembles a grave. Is this true? Do we have to remove this swimming pool for our peace of mind. Thanks.

Sorry, I have transferred your case study to the Feng Shui Tips Conference as I had replied extensively based on Common sense Feng Shui. That forum conference is locked and members cannot post there. Again, please check out the earlier link. The critical clue was that house Y has more to worry in terms of a T-junction. And often only a so called "fluke" accident could a runaway amok vehicle penetrate towards house "X". You should be using the above example. I have seen only matured curry trees that were planted into the ground that grows reasonable size. In my opinion, most probably the existing owners planted it for the curry leaves. What is a garden without some type…

Dear Linh, Please take note that you should use the conVEX mirror. And not the conCAVE mirror. In this website, under "Photo Tour".. I had several years back included pictures and description of the various mirrors. Briefly, conVEX mirror(s):- 1. Simple convex mirror surrounded by a border e.g. a red plastic border. Usually comes in two sizes, the smallest is approximately 3 to 3.5 inches. 2. Some convex mirrors are found in the middle of a bagua mirror (which has the 8 hex trigrams embeded on it). This can also be used. Nowadays, itcomes usually in yellow background. but the mirror is a polished mirror. 3. Some have a flat mirror. And sometimes surrounded with a f…

Dear Scott, In case you need to some research paper on temples, perhaps, you can also consider looking for the following two books under Dr Evelyn Lip (a trained architect and lecturer) in libraries: Book 1: Feng Shui for Home Book 2: Chinese Geomancy A Layman's guide Publisher: Times Publishing Both books have good (authentic) references to ancient Chinese as well as some references/pictures of temples. It serves as a starting point to gather good information if you do need to put up a paper on it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Priority is based on Shapes and forms Feng Shui. Where the bedroom arrangement should "flow" with the bedroom door, attached toilet - if any and the location of the window in the bedroom. 2. Sleeping with the head facing a good direction is considered as Nice-to-have and not a must-have. 3. Another concept to remember is "If it ain't broken, don't fix it". If the previous bed-head arrangement was fine or acceptable, don't change things unnecessarily. Or revert to the "original-previous" position. Anonymous wrote: Hello, My house faces the west and my bed is placed in such a way that I my head faces the north. Of late I haven't been experiencing lack of sleep. Is …

1. This question has been asked in the past. 2. Please note that the General Horoscope Luck is based on YEAR of birth. 3. But all dates and time even under http://dates.geomancy.net or dates.geomancy.net or all our paid reports are based on: YEAR, MONTH and DAY of birth. 4. It is based on plain common sense. Here, Para 3 should be more accurate because three FIELDs were looked into.

Dear Master Cecil Lee, I have some enquiries on my new flat whichme and my husbandwill be collecting keys within this month. My floor plan as attached for your reference. 1. We are Catholic by religion and would like to place a Altar in our flat. Can you advise which is the ideal spot to place the Altar? Is it possible to place it against the wall at the dinning area? 2. Do we need to have a divider/partition as our main door faces the balcony directly? 3. Is there anything you can point out to us that we should be aware of for this unit of ours? 4. Apart from the unit's fengshui, like to check, if I am currently pregnant, can I go and collect keys and proceed with the do…

Dear Anon, 1. It is good to hear that all the tables are already setup. This is the key issue. Since, it would not be good if you actually see your partition torn down and see your table move over to the new location. 2. As your new table is ready, wait for your colleague to move-out. For your move. If you do not have much items, simply place it into boxes such as the paper copier empty boxes. And bring all of them at one go to the new work-top. This is relatively no issue as compared to Para 1. 3. This portion is not Feng Shui but more of a belief:- When you do begin to move; just stroke your back a few times and mumble to yourself ie. "to your child" that we are moving …
