Yes, the bedroom is a Yin location (especially for adults). In Feng Shui the reason why many FS Masters suggest not to have plants is because plants are GROWING and do create some form of Yang `activity'. I guess a small plant is acceptable. What usually is no good are larger potted plants with large leafs. As for fresh "cut-flowers', there is no problem in placing them in a bedroom.. The only thing that Feng Shui Masters advise is to place the dragon at the East wall. It should not " seemed " to be hungry (ie the dragon article you have ) as it will mean that you have problems feeding "yourself". However, in your case, you can collectilvely place all the dragons at one location. Preferably on the East side of your house and not the West side (yin side). The flying star chart that is generated for is a 20-year char which last from 1984 to 2003. However, if the house is not renovated in anyway after 2003, the chart is still valid.
