General Help

Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

    1. Please don't jump to the wrong conclusions. 2. Feng Shui also concerns with the amount of sun-light (or direct sun-light) coming into or "soaking into the walls of a home". 3. Please check out my previous postings with reference to Para 2. 4. Para 2 has nothing to do with Compass School of Feng Shui. Although, all "leaks" including Para 2 may add up to cause further problems. 5. Para 2, is about either the effects of direct sun-light (raditation) or heat (walls soak heat and slowly releases the heat in the evening - especially concern for countries close to the equator).

Thanks for the advice! Yes, the staircase will have a landing - 11 steps, 7 steps, 11 steps and lastly 7 steps. That's okay?? So you wouldn't recommend a staircase in that sector huh? That would have been a good spot in our floor plan (we don't know what else to put in that sector because of the negative stars). I guess we'll have to find another sector to put the staircase.

    1. Strictly from a Shapes and Forms, position, the only "threat" that you may have to take note is the bedroom door. 2. The illustration shows that if your door is "half-closed" or "half-opened", the door is like a blade and may slice into the master bed .... as shown in a straight line "in purple colour" in the attachment. 3. For this bedroom, either fully open the door as you had illustrated or even better, if it can fully open towards "the blue marking". Or simply close the bedroom door when going to sleep. 4. As for "cures" if you have applied Flying Star Feng Shui, then it would depend on the Flying Star numbers found in that bedroom.

Hi there, i apolize for shouting at you, i didn't know. In your reply, about option 2 and option1, the garage or bedroom, that is the kids livingroom. I have 3 living areas, and 4 bedrooms. The front door area, is marked front, and the back door is marked back. But, i have a negative area outside the house, which would make up the rectangle that my house would have been. This area is the Helpful people area. I have read in the book to put a spotlight or some kind of light in that area, so the light is aimed back at the house to illuminate and bring energy to the area. Is this the correct thing to do, and i am also in the process of planting 2 Foxtail fern palm trees, hal…

    1. When using an oridinary compass, to take a reading, one should stand inside the house looking outwards. 2. For a landed property, often, the facing direction should often be (or usually) such as standing inside the compound of e.g. the garden looking (taking a reading) facing the same direction of the main entrance. Here, in general, many homes have it's frontage / main door at this area. 3. Try not to apply the fixed template bagua Feng Shui. This is a modern invention.

    1. In the link below, you can see a person kneeling down. The person is usually the eldest son. On the back of the eldest son's back is his deceased father's portait. You can clearly see a "learned" person using a Chinese brush coated in black ink. This person is placing "eyes" onto the deceased person's portait. Literally, this is placing an eye on a deceased person's portait. It is symbolic of opening the eyes (not on a physical body) but transferred onto the portait. It is common also for some to purchase Chinease deity figurines and have temples annoint the eyes in a similiar manner. Please see picture below:- http://cgi.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictur…

  7. Hi there Kua 1. Uncannily in 1/2-way round the world here in Singapore, I'm also experiencing similar heartaches and disappointments. I'm a weak fire (Kua 8) and my husband is a weak fire (kua 1) and this year has been a total nightmare. I too am wondering when will the disaster end :-(

  8. 1. In Feng Shui, there are "fixed" formulas e.g. Eight House and Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. But, in the realm of numerology, there are so many varied methods and interpretations. For example, phoentic sound-like to many is equally important. Cantonese Chinese don't like "4" or "44" etc... 3. And one method is converting your 780 into Chinese characters and counting the stokes etc.. Thus, since there is so vastly different methods of numerology i.e. the Chinese have many methods, the Indians have their numerology.. so where or how do you interpret 780? Since there is a right or wrong thus any interpretation usually gives a 50 percent chance!

    1. Mathematically, there are 50 percent who are East group and 50 percent who are West group (full stop). 2. If one already had purchased or stayed in an existing house or apartment, is it possible to get the earthquake to move your home so that it aligns to your good directions? Yes/No? 3. This "obession" with whether your home is East or West is "history" if one intends to stay in that specific home. Unless, you are saying that you intend to move-out. 4. One has to be realistic. And if trying to apply Feng Shui, make sure that there are no further "loss of wealth leaks" etc.. By applying proper Feng Shui. 5. If you close your eyes, the direction facing would'nt go…

You know, so much fire in hell, is detrimental to my being a weak water person. Is this reason good enough, Sir?" Raymond Xavier : "Good reason! Transfer him to Heaven! NEXT, please!"

Further to what I had mentioned, I am always sentimental to such issues because, many already face hard-ship. And does these people have the conscience to further "plunder" these poor people? Do you want to drive them into further desperation? Since it is much more easier to "push" these products to them then anyone else! Even her "15 eye Dzi bead" cannot help, you still consider a lower number of eye Dzi bead... Surely.. my toes are laughing all the way... for those buying such rubbish! Pure and simple, rubbish!

    1. In my opinion, the process of burial (burial place) and subsequently the procedure between this and before "forced" cremation can affect one's luck. 2. For example, the removal of remains e.g. excavation has to be done properly. Very simple situations include, putting up a tent above the burial site, just before excavation, plus, other rituals are significant. 3. Thus any process done up-to that stage and cremation should be properly done. 4. However, once the cremation has been completed, collection of the urn, arranging for the new site could also do with some "proper procedure". 5. Usually, once cremated, it is less crucial to find the best site since the urn wo…

    1. For the Chinese (we believe) in three kinds of luck:- Heaven luck - what we are suppose to be born with Earth luck - Feng Shui of home and/office Human or man luck - Family relationship, bonding ... 2. What you mention has more to do with Numerology. Frankly, there are at least more than 10 or more different ways humans calculate what is auspicious or inauspicious. The Chinese have various methods, other races also have different methods of calcuating. Thus, some may feel that 168 is good, some may feel that is a rotten or bad number. 3. Therefore, what I feel is that a number can mean so different thing or responses from many parties to invalidate one method from …

  15. 1. Honestly, if one truly applies proper Feng Shui, it is difficult to firstly comment on such a Yes/No question. 2. Proper Feng Shui is about looking at the site (site review). And selection of facing direction, and others including the drainage positions etc... Basically, whether you are a person that:- a)enjoy life earlier than suffer later. b) suffer first than enjoy life later. c)mix, whereby there will be atleast a 30-year rangein the middle of your life where luck is with you oragainst you. Dear Anon, Actually, our free report will already give you that answer. Given the date of birth Male, 28 Jan 1964, Pig hour. You will be a Strong Fire. Element Strength Percentage 4 Water Extremely Weak 12 % 2 Wood Weakest 12 % 3 Fire Weak 28 % 3 Earth Strongest 46 % 0 Metal Strong 0 % This is because your five element percentage after calculating all the combinations and clashes will be as shown above. To determine if you are weak or strong, this will depends finally on whether favourable elements that make you strong is greater or lesser than unfavourable elements that make your weak. As a Fire element person, fav…

Our stand for all time zone related is to use the local time of birth. This is because to factor in location, the only true way is to input the long. and lat. of birth. But that adds further degree of error and not everyone will record this information, so not practical to be used. So you should use the hour as in the hour when your son is born. So for example if he i…

Dear Master Lee, Thank You for your veryinformative reply! I apologise for not having been conciseenough about myBazi pillars but hereit is: Day Month Year Hence, the Bullying punishment does indeed appear within my chart. Could I then enquire what kind of negative effectscould this combination bring into my life? Furthermore, I assume that the clash between my Ram-Ox is not too significant right? Because they are not side by side? Is there any possible way for me to lower the negative impact on such a combination? I really Thank You! Sincerely, Anon

You can always use the free auspicious dates for the next 30 days report at http://dates.geomancy.net

  22. 1. Usually, changing the angle of the front door is only "temporary". This is because, the entire building "frontage" is fixed. And often, tilting the door may not bring significant results. As ultimately the "frontage" or actual facing direction of the home remains the same. 2. If Flying Star Feng Shui has been applied, usually a Feng Shui practitioner will try to advise on ways to "disarm" especially "loss of wealth stars" such as #5 (misfortune, sickness) and #3 (Lawsuits, quarrels, conflicts, scandals). 3. If there are further opportunities, one may consider placing a water position in the home to tap good wealth or activate a mountain position. SANDHAYA M. wrote: …

    1. In general, traditionally the Chinese 7th month (especially) certain days is considered auspicious. Nowadays, just because the Chinese 7th "Ghost" month happens to be in the 7th month, many thus construe that it is not an auspicious period. 2. For other races e.g. Indians, they have their own "7th month" which is not in the Chinese 7th month. 3. Overall, we read about many, many Chinese in China getting married on this "auspicious sounding" date. Thus many seem to think it is a good date

Hi Cecil, We have moved into the house 6 months ago and are intending to install grills and windows at our backyard, which is in the North sector of the house (if i divide my floor plan with 9 grids). Is it not advisable to do so? If we really have to do it, what do we need to take note of? Just select an auspicious date based on our ba zi and do the "dong tu" knock wall procedure? Thanks much, Jo

    1. Thanks for the re-upload of layout plan. 2. For practical purposes in applying a template onto your home layout out plan, please see attachment. The rationale for the centrepoint as shown in the attachment is that the home is nto particularly huge to warrant drawing two separate rectangles and later to use the template for Flying star and eight house purpose. 3. The best way to look at it is to consider the outline of the 2nd storey layout plan to determine the centrepoint of the home. Since this layout plan has less indentations and protrusions. 4. In your sketch, I believe the ground floor and 2nd storey should have the same outline. As in your sketch, the 2nd …
