  2. Dear Anne, True Feng Shui is not like `Credit Card' Feng Shui. One do not need to `purchase' something in advance in the hope that spending such money would get one riches. If one is not sure of where to place a picture of a waterfall, one should try not to place it. The other method is if one feels comfortable about it and really like the picture and have to `urge' to place it at a location. Ideally, pictures of water falls should not be placed in a bedroom. The more professional method is to use e.g. Flying Star to check if a sector has balance or imbalance. This theory can be used to check if there is or do not have an imbalance. If there is an imbalance and it is cau…

    1. Please note that if you want to ask questions based on "time dimension" in Feng Shui; then the closest concept is that of the Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. Here, if you know or at least read about the concept; you still have to draw up a Flying Star chart SPECIFIC to that home or office you are referring to. 3. Only after doing so, then you can plot in your yearly flying star chart. 4. Thus, your question is like those G.I.G.O. If not sure what is G.I.G.O. please make an effort to search for this term in this forum's top-left frame. 5. In addition, I really wonder, are you seriously in checking out your toilet yearly. If so, might as well, frankly, shut the toilet down per…

Dear Sonia, 1. In my view, and to be honest, a house number containing a 4 is not necessarily unfavorable. 2. In Cantonese, the number 4 is associated with the word 'SAY' which means 'DIE'. 3. Therefore, a Cantonese individual who may also be superstitious might prefer not to have a house number with a 4 in it. 4. Personally, my current residence is #04-01 and my new house, which will be ready soon, also contains "45" (i.e. a 5 in it). 5. I still decided to purchase it because, overall, as you mentioned that you 'liked it'. In my case, I have assessed the home based on: - Shapes and Form, - Eight House - Flying Star to confirm that it 's…

Hi Angie, Anonymous wrote: Can I place a Fish Tank infront of the house main door? And it is theside of the fish tank facingthe main door. I believe that there is definately no issue in how you place your fish tank as long as the corners of the fish tankdoes not create a poison arrow or sha qi against other key areas in your home. As to whether it is auspicious to place it at your main door area of the home, then you will need to check with like the flying star analysis of your home to see if the stars present are suitable for having a fish tank. Such as if there is a water star 8, then yes most probably it will be an auspicious wealth sector. However, if it is a auspic…

Dear Yew Heng, In general, it sounds, OK. However, some of the key factors include: 1. If one stands in-side the home looking outwards, is there any lamp post, or a tree trunk facing the mainentrance or windows of the home. 2. Where possible, the plot of land is rectangular/squarish in shape. 3. Sewerage pipes / conduits running into the home 4. Drainage locations. Ideally should not cut into the side of the home etc.. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: leong yew heng wrote: I would like to buy the new house that near to the T-junction, well myneighbor next to me is directly facing the T-junction and i am not.

Dear Anon, Water fountains can generally be placed in a living room especially, if one based it on intuition. If based on `investigative' Feng Shui, these are some of the considerations: 1. for the breadwinner who is a weak fire or strong water person, it is advisable not to have a water position in the house. 2. Under the Flying Star analysis, for example you have mentioned a specific sector or compass direction. Ideally, one should look at the elements e.g. water & mountain star plus the base and check to see if it is acceptable to add a water position. The above two concepts are important in Feng Shui. There is another concept called Ba Zhi Feng Shui which Robert w…

The resource relating to the same type of situation can be found, here:- Flying Star Feng Shui as a Diagnostic Tool In life there are more tools than just the personal Gua or Kua.

  17. These are some considerations: 1. When one mentions that the person is a strong yang water snake; this is based on Ba Zi. 2. Being a strong water or strong something does not automatically mean that; that person's best facing direction must be North or SE. 3. Try to get your facts correct, first. 4. When one talks about good directions: this belongs to the Compass School of Feng Shui: Eight House / 4 Good or Bad directions. 5. The answer to your question can be found under this link: The Three-Step-Approach

Dear Curtis, The most effective method is as follows:- 1. Use Ba Zi together with Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. Knowing one's Ba Zi (element and strength) is crucial. For example: a person with weak wood element. 3. For each family member determine their element and strength. Here, for example, for a couple (husband and wife) it is best to determine the `binding' element that helps both parties element `grow'. So that, for example in the bedroom; if the binding element is `water'; then the wall can for example be painted blue or light blue. For the living room furniture e.g. couch blue/black or grey are the best colours to help `bind' the couple. 4. Please note that Flying St…

Dear Members, 1. On member was asking on a book on choosing names. 2. Dr. Evelyn Lip had written a book approximately 110 pages. 3. One intersting topic is choosing names according to the number of strokes in each character besides other significance, symbolism and traditions in Chinese numbers. 4. In my opinion, the book is a simple introduction to Chinese numbers. And if you can find it in your local library, it is certainly worth borrowing it especially, if one wants to do a `research' into this area. (I think it should cost around US$10.00 or less.) Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Maggie: I had bought a fish tank for my daughter (she loves fish)but gave it away recently. In our previous house, it enhanced a sector, in our new house, I couldn't seem to find the right spot and we had some mishaps. Ever since we gave it away - everything is fine and my daughter has forgotten about the fish. Don't feel too bad - you will find someone who wants the fish and tank and will be very grateful for the gift. Good luck!

  24. TThese are some considerations: 1. Under the Holy Trinity of Luck; there are three kinds of luck: 1.1. Heaven Luck or born with (Ba Zi)1.2. Earth Luck or Feng Shui of the home or office1.3. Human or Man Luck (also generally about feeling good or not that comfortable with the table/desk setting of your office). 2. While in this case, Para 1.1. may not apply directly; 2.1. We now look at either Earth Luck or Human/Man Luck. 2.2. Earth Luck or Feng Shui:- 2.2.1 It would be nice if your office location has good Feng Shui (from applying both Shapes and Forms and Flying Stars). Shapes and Forms is also about a location perhaps with some views or if a non-aircon office; perhaps …

Dear Anon, 1. It is more important to find out how long one spents time at that location. 2. Usually, a protruding corner can easily be solved in the living room by adjusting the furniture. So long as one avoids sitting at the location of the pointed arrow, this would suffice. 3. For the bedroom this is harder to avoid especially if one has a small room or have built in furniture. Ideally, it is best to avoid having poison arrows in the first place. I guess no one would like to if they can avoid, poison arrows aimed at their bed. If possible the poison arrow should not be aimed at the bed or part of the body. 4. As for plants i.e. artifical plants, in my opinion, after lo…
