1. Under symbolism in Feng Shui, yes, one has to be careful of angular objects particularly the "tip" especially if it faces or aimed towards a bedroom or an "opening" such as a bedroom door or the main door. 2. Otherwise, in general, it may still be acceptable to place it at common areas - should normally be ok.

1. Some say that SW is the romance sector. Thus, it was felt that hanging family photos is acceptable, here. 2. Usually when applying Flying Star Feng Shui, one can further fine tune applying paintings appropriate for that sector. Thus, if that sector has a mountain star then, a "landscape" painting or picture is acceptable. While if it is a water wealth location, then common Chinese paintings include the kok or gold fish paintings. Glass framed paintings if possible should not be hung facing a bedroom door or facing the main entrance d door. It would be better to chart out a Flying Star chart. If so, yes, in general, it may be placed at a MS#9 provided there are no #2 or #5 within that sector. Alternatively, such a light can help to "burn" or neutralise #3.

Frankly, the procedures are not rocket science. And majority of the procedures are symbolic of "placing wealth into a new home". Personally, have already assisted many clients at least a few thousands with it. And many others have also DIY on their own. The procedures are non-religious also some clients add additional steps like bringing along their joss sticks or candles and "gold" paper.

Whenever one feels uncomfortable, if possible take it down and relocate it e.g. to another room or keep it in storage or give away. Neha S. wrote: I have very recently installed a full length mirror on my bedroom wall. This mirror faces the bathroom door which is alwaysusually closed. I have been feeling a bit spooked in that room since the last few days. I hung a shawl on the mirror last night but I was still not to comfortable. What should I do? Is it bad to have a mirror face the bathroom door?

Since it is often not possible to change the location of a toilet (if any), then you have to maximize luck from elsewhere. Anonymous wrote: Is it consider bad feng shui if the toilet is located in the North-West direction? If yes, what can be done to improve the feng shui? Thank you very much for your attention.

Hi Cecil, We have moved into the house 6 months ago and are intending to install grills and windows at our backyard, which is in the North sector of the house (if i divide my floor plan with 9 grids). Is it not advisable to do so? If we really have to do it, what do we need to take note of? Just select an auspicious date based on our ba zi and do the "dong tu" knock wall procedure? Thanks much, Jo

The scope of Chinese Metaphyics is based on the holy trinity of luck:- a. Born with (ba zi) The ba zi or commonly known as Four Pillars or Pillars of destiny has its own tools which include things like : when is your romance period (and how good or how bad it is), your personal compatiblity, your luck and destiny. b. Feng Shui (home & office) In general, it affects your general wealth luck and sometimes, romance luck can be looked at and fine tuned. For example, certain homes have bad Shapes and Forms that can affect romance luck. While applying Flying star can detect and help to properly cure bad stars like #3 (romance, lawsuits, entanglements etc..). c. Human o…

Please go read this article written by Robert Lee:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=2&mid=23906&new= At Geomancy.net we cannot control how others interpret their ba zi, but we certainly are aware of many of the issues and concerns. And at the same time, we are very serious in the quality of our reports. Many, many years of research, development and fine tuning that went into it.

1. Frankly, what you are asking is : I post this layout with my compass direction and you tell me where is it best for me to place a water feature. 2. Please note that this is a Free General Advise forum. 3. Your layout and compass directions are so specific to your case only. 4. Little wonder that no matter which website you try to find your answers, it has to be tailored to your layout and specific compass direction. There is no two ways about. 5. Imagine, if everyone post a layout plan, and expect specific answers... this is not the agenda of this forum. (Newbie or no newbie. There are other avenues including finding your Feng Shui practitioner - if you want t…

1. Frankly, it is best to check with your friend further as it is difficult for me to comment on just a few sentences. 2. However, often tilting if it is the main door can only be temporary - unlike tilting the entire home say 7.5 degrees towards another facing direction. 3. Thus, since your friend is in the know, best to check with him further. 4. If you are or your friend is based his advise to "tlit" based on Compass School of Feng Shui, then, make sure that the exact compass readings are taken. I hope it is not like a novice taking a compass reading and then finding that it is "wrong". There are proper ways to take a reading and it should be adhered to.

1. After a home has been built, it is much harder to change the location especially of the sewerage pipe connected to both your WC. 2. Of course, if a proper Feng Shui analysis has been done; normally, it would be recommended not to have both the WC's on each side of the main entrance door. But, after the home has been built, either have to live with it or do corrective actions. 3. Corrective actions may not be needed if there are no further "wealth leaks" in the home. And some homes can still sustain toilet(s) at the frontage and still survive. While some homes may face problems especially related to both wealth and career issues. 4. The second issue of the "top" o…

1. Frankly, this is not directly linked to any major Feng Shui theory, other than perhaps symbolism and human luck factors. 2. Under symbolism, of course, water draining out is like luck going out of the door. And if one feels not too good with this "omen" then, your human luck factor drops further.

1. Under Commonsense Feng Shui, definitely, it is considered not ideal to have the master bedroom directly above the kitchen. As it is believed that there is a higher incidence of a "fire" starting in a kitchen. Thus, this has more to do with "safety" aspect than of Feng Shui. However, in modern times, things like smoke detectors / fire alarm sensors / panels maybe in the master bedroom can help in such a situation. As fire travels upwards and such things can help. 2. Under Symbolic Feng Shui:- 2.1. Yes, the stove direclty below the toilet bowl is a major concern. Often, again one aspect is based on commonsense Feng Shui as often the sewerage pipe is thus directly above…

1. Overall, under Period 8, the better neutral colour that you may consider is light cream or beige. 2. Under Period 7 (1984 to 2003), the best neutral colour was white. Today, 2008, the best neutral colour is as mentioned under Para 1.

1. Usually this is not a major concern unless the WC pipes are directly opposite (behind) the stove and vice-versa. Otherwise, there is no major concern or issue. 2. Under Traditional Feng Shui, some Feng Shui practitioners (symbolism) may advice placing a hulu (bottle gourd) e.g. inside the kitchen cabinet between the two walls. Anonymous wrote: Please help. My kitchen shares the same wall as the bathroom, and the stove shares the same wall back to back with the toilet. I know it's totally bad, and what can I do to minimize the damage? Thanks!!

1. In fact, to be honest, Geomancy.net even in Singapore is one of the few or the only one that is not selling commercial products. 2. Why sell commercial products? 2.1 Commercial products "in the name of Feng Shui" is highly marked up! Using commonsense, many find it more lucrative to sell such products! 2.2 To them, they don't care too-hoots where you get your hard-earned money from, but these people, don't have a conscience and like all "cheats"; simply wantus to depart with our hard earned money! 2.3 Imagine, profit margins are as high as even 500 to 1,000 percent! Unheard of! Yet, people are gullible to purchase them for the sake of .. "greed"! 2.4 Frankl…

This position of the sink is generally OK. As the most important consideration is the stove, first.
