    1. Please click this link for resources on the Ba Gua mirror and the different types of it:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Bagua_Mirror 2. Never place a ba gua mirror inside a home. It has to face outwards of a home. 3. The above link will show the differences between a concave, convex and a flat mirror type of ba gua. 4. Usually, ba gua mirror is placed at "openings" facing a poison arrow or threat (sharp corner of another building or a lamp post slicing towards the main door or a window). 5. The bagua mirror in the middle is either flat, concave or convex. There is no combination of flat mirror and convex mirror - none in the market. Unless you are referring to fla…

    1. Frankly, if it is a bedroom wall, this (on it's own) is considered as an actual mountain vs a situation where it is an opened window. 2. Thus, the only person that you will make them happy by tiling or rock/stoning the wall is the contractor that does it for you. Here, they would be most happy to accomodate your requests as this means making some money from you. 3. Drawing a parallel, just this Tuesday morning, when I visited an existing client, as she requested for an annual review, she bought some Feng Shui articles from some shop. And the shop told her that she must not reuse certain items as the shop wanted her to buy more of it from them! 4. Actually, a mountai…

    1. As mentioned, previously there are TWO differing views:- 1.1. One view is that ONLY when EXISTING foundation is demolished and a new foundation come up can the site (building change qi). 1.2 The other view point is based on symbolism. And there are many different view-points as to what may constitute a change. Thus I am only stating or collating the various view points:- The views range from:- 1.2.1 Entire building refreshed with coat of paint (and refurbishment)and the whole house gets refreshed with a coat of paint. 1.2.2 For an apartment, one view point is that since the roof cannot be removed, the ceiling of the home could be given a coat of paint - and this s…

  4. It is SYMBOLIC of "GROWTH". The picture, in this link shows how this household did the procedure:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=22648&new= Isn't the tray with the green beans which turned into bean sprouts, lovely? Please note that these are vegetables. And usually can last a week. Thus, if the green beans does not sprout like in the picture: 1.1 Make sure that it is placed in a location where there is light. As light and water is needed for germination. 1.2 Even after three days, you can still add some water. 1.3 Once it grows until as lovely as the picture, time to throw it away! 1.4. As vegetables are unlike plan…

Glad to hear your success! And the main key success factor in rearing fish is notjust for the sake of"Feng Shui -wealth" but rather, for human luck factors i.e. feel good and happy ... For example, some people may not have good heaven luck (bornwith) nor good earth luck (Feng Shui) but they have good Human (man) luck such as being happy, have good family bonding, happiness comes from hobbies like rearing fishes ora pet dog that waits for you to come home... ! All these - money cannot buy - happiness!

    1. From one of the Feng Shui concepts using the compass direction:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-workposition.htm 2. As you had mentioned earlier, if you are unable to change position, then this option is out! 3. The commonsense is to see how you can maximize your luck in other areas of your life:- The Concept of Maximizing Marks 4. In a situation, where as you had mentioned you cannot change position, then no matter how much you "bang" your head against the wall, you may have to maximize luck from other areas of your "life". Often, it can be your earth luck = home (& office) etc... 5. Factors like if there are any "wealth" leaks such as …

Should I change it with the sink? 4) The sofa is also directly in line with the entrance. Is this ok? Thanks and gratefully yours, Anon

I felt like i am getting overly obsessed and fearful that I no longer look forward to renovating my new house... Just a question, do you do on-line house analysis with proposed remedies/cures? Am thinking of not doing full on-site audit lest the more i know, the more fearful i get... Thanks for your time! 1. Frankly, you are not the only one in the same situation. As for those applying the Eight House, statistically 50-50 are either East or West Group. Thus, it is very common occurence! So no-worries 2. Yes, on-line analysis is available: email: support@geomancy.net

Please refer to another recent request of "which unit is best in this site-map". If I were to analyse and reply to this type of questions, in no time, I will be flooded with more and more site-plans - asking which units are better. And these are very specific questions and not Free General Advise questions. AND THE BUCK STOPS, HERE!

This is a recent reply to the same type of question that you had just posted:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=4&mid=23630&new= 1. We have to differentiate between Yin Feng Shui and Yang Feng Shui. 2. Yin Feng Shui can be known as Feng Shui for the dead. Yang Feng Shui is Feng Shui for the living. 3. The Eight House can be applied to both Yin and Yang Feng Shui. 4. Usually in a Yin Feng Shui environment, the person is dead, immovable object. Thus, it would be good to have the person within the good sector to "defend" against external factors. Thus, it is good to have the person absorb good qi as what you have mentioned. 5. Under…

  16. 1. More importantly, usually what is mentioned in this forum is based on general comments or specific to a home and it's environment. 1. Please note that a home can be considered as falling into any one of the 24 sectors. And there are differences in where your home frontage is (main door) etc... As ALL landed property would normally have two or three exit drainage points: and 1 or 2 are meant for wealth luck. and the 3rd exit point is usually for "Power and authority" (e.g. a politician, staying a home can weld great power or a boss / CEO). 2. Thus, all these new proper analysis. It is not like typing a few sentences and then "you get your answers immediately". http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Want_to_build_your_dream_home%3F#IS_THE_DRAINAGE_OF_MY_HOUSE_IMPORTANT.3F 3. 19. 1. In my opinion, for a newbie to Feng Shui, one may not understand the implication. 2. Usually, the placement of the six coins is meant more as a "cure" than your literal translation of placing coins at the back of the home thus leaking wealth away. 3. IN GENERAL, it is common for Feng Shui practitioners to draw up a chart of a home. For example, each of us have our own date and time that we are born. And a home also has a birth-chart. 4. Thus this home birth-chart is popularly based on what is known as "Flying Star - Compass School Feng Shui'. Frankly, please don't ask me to explain what is Flying Star or Compass School. One has to do more research or use the SEARCH…

The two major schools of Feng Shui:- 1. Shapes and Forms 2. Compass School of Feng Shui (Eight House/Flying Star) All homes that have "Quantum Leap" in Feng Shui MUST have good Shapes and Forms. Having good Compass School "directions" is nice to have. Majority if not all homes that have "Quantum Leap" cannot fully depend only on Compass School, Feng Shui. This is the difference between the two major schools of Feng Shui.

    1. The smart, gets good advise the first time they search for a new home. They do it once, RIGHT, that's all. And the smart goes to concentrate on better things to do! 2. The ignorant, buys the home and then pays Feng Shui emporiums to stock their homes with rubbish products. 3. The ignorant, also asks Geomancers for first-aid in the form of "pasting elastoplast" all over their "leaking" home. So which is more important? Invest in advise to purchase a good home? Or wait until the home is purchased before calling a Geomancer to apply first-aid to resuccitate the home?

1.The 2-dimension view (top-down) layout plan, shows that most likely the frontage is at West. This is often the case as the Living Room cum Dining room shares the stretch of the window at the West. 2. Sometimes, the frontage MAY be a the side with the four trees cum road. But perhaps, most likely, this side of the road may be noiser as the garden here is narrower (than that at the West). 3. Thus, based strictly on the layout plan, it looks more likely that the frontage is at West.

    1. Please note that the dates are based purely on the way we Chinese calculate auspicious dates. 2. By tradition, the Chinese in the past and even now, don't see Friday 13 as bad!For example, the saying goes.. one man's meat is another man's poision. Even in the western world, there are some who says that Friday 13 is lucky for them, while perhaps, majority fear it. 3. For the Chinese, especially the Hokkien Dialect group, the no. 6 is considered a lucky number. As the phonetic sound in Hokkien dialect : "6" means LUCK. Especially for Christians, many don't like "666" - devils number. But to Chinese Hokkiens, 666 means LUCK, LUCK, LUCK. 4. Thus, what is suppose to be …

    1. Thanks for the illustration. 2. Yes, moving the kitchen to Bedroom 3 (SW) is a double edged sword! As you had mentioned the stars at SW ain't good. In addition, in general, SW is considered as the "indirect water wealth" spirit location (up to the year 2023). Thus it can affect one's wealth. 3. Based on the layout plan, the "good thing" is that NW is not directly within the compass cardinal point of NW. You can still have especially the stove (if possible) closer to the North sector of the kitchen.
