Dear Samantha, One must not forget, that flying star is only one portion of a complete analysis. The most important factor to a good house isn't just the 4 walls of the home, but rather the external factors and surrounding. Regardless of whether you take the main door or the facing of the house. Both are not wrong, they are the actual flying star influence of the house itself. Even though, the charts may look different, they are the correct chart for the home. The important issue about flying star is to balance up all the sectors. Regardless of what is the chart, ultimately, the way to balance the sectors will not differ to much. Furthermore, as mentioned, flying star…

1. Please see sample illustration. 2. As both Mr and Mrs are Strong Fire persons; one of their binding elements is METAL. 3. Thus if both are the owners or subsidiary proprietors of a condo unit; then it is better to get a Guan Yin that e.g. has pure white clothing (less the colourful lotus leaf colours) that she sits onto. 3.1 Or the clothing she wears is gold in colour. 3.2 Usually the figurines have "natural tone" colours. 4. The next thing is to walk around and stare at her face. Often, instinctively, if one likes that statue's face; then this is a potential buy. 5. Often the other more common material is a wooden Guan Yin figurine or a Guan Yin that has substa…

Based on the Chinese Holy Trinity of Luck: 1. Heaven 2. Earth 3. Man or Human Luck So long as it makes you feel good or comfortable with it, why not? Since feeling good contributes to "improving one's luck". Particularly = Man or Human Luck factor.

Dear Vincent, 1. Our report does shows you as a Yin Wood person as your Heavenly Stem of the DAY is Yi. http://www.geomancy.net/online/hsnew_yi.gif Check your ba zi chart and you should also see this in the Heavenly Stem of the day. 2. However, what you do not understand here is that Yin DOES NOT mean that that person is a WEAK. Neither do Yang mean that that person is STRONG. Yin can also have Weak or Strong Yin and Yang can also have Weak or Strong Yang. So it does not mean that because your heavenly stem of the Day is Yi (Yin Wood), that you are automatically a Weak wood person. 3. Whether or not you are a weak or strong person, is ultimately determined by several ot…

Thank you Master Lee for your reply. The underground graves in the U.S. are built with 2 concrete vaults, one on top of the other. They are usually sold for husband and wife use. The casket or coffin of the spouse who dies first is placed in the lower concrete vault and closed bycovering the topwith a horizontal concrete slab. The casket or coffin of the spouse who dies next is placed on top of the concrete slab that covered the lower concrete vault. This top vault is closed by covering it with a concrete slab. The hole on the ground is then covered with soil and grass is then planted on the surface. In efffect, the 2 caskets or coffins are positioned on 2 levels, the …

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hello... my question is regards to the placement of dragon and tiger picture puzzle. It's me and my husband's I chinese sign. Thank you very much in advance. Actually, just treat it as a typical painting. As long as the dragon or tiger isn't to like fighting each other(which represents disharmonious - not good for relationship.)Or looking too fierce looking (which can be a sha qi).You can treat it as a normal painting and hang it where you like it just as a decorative item. If puzzle is has conflict or fierce looking meaning, then better not to display it. In feng shui, as long as the picturedoes not have any bad meaning associated when yo…

Frankly, in Singapore, many HDB apartments and condos share the same issue! In fact, many newer condos have master bedroom where after placing the "queen-sized" or some can squeeze in a "king sized" bed, and left over is the wardrope area / TV console (or mounted) and some dressing table. And many of these condos also have attached bathroom that is "on the side" of the bed. Is the toilet really so disgusting that we should not have it? In the past, traditional Chinese homes have toilets that are "outside" of the living quarters. But today, it is "scientifically" true that a toilet can be dirty. For example, whenever we "flush" the toilet bowl and worse, if we cover th…

Dear Mui Ing, Frankly, although, this may sound uncomfortable, it is not as "bad" as compared to a toilet e.g. toilet bowl on the same wall as the bed-head. This is because, a water position is much like this article: http://www.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.htm Where the invisible vapours of water could cause cancer. However, for a stove, the only main issue(s) are: 1. If one forgot to switch off the gas. It can affect any room in the whole house. 2. Other than this, usually there is often not a major issue of a stove "affecting" the other side. Since, we do not cook at night and a reasonable thick wall. Frankly, therefore, I do not see it as a major direct threat…

Hi everyone, I remember a user posted a message regarding vast u. Well I came across a book called Vastu Living Creating A Home for the Soul by author Kathleen Cox. After reading the book I was surprised to notice lot of similarities between vastu and feng shui. Vastu Indian science of architecture and is also based on cardinal direction and also emphasis the nature and 5 different elements(air, water, fire, wood, earth). But there is heavy emphasis of symbolism (deity). Well, anybody looking for more information on vastu should try this book. Good luck!

Dear Rosie, Perhaps you can generate a Free Flying Star report. Most probably, there is an influence of sickness star #2 or even #5 within the sector of your son's bedroom. A metal cure depending on the level of imbalance at the sector could be used if the above analysis is correct. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Feng Shui is about Earth Luck. Relationships are built upon "man or human luck factors". Under Feng Shui, you can apply Flying star to activate the mountain stars.

Dear Michelle, If the frontage if facing the major highway, even if it is some distance away; if you can try to find other better units - than this. Overall, if you can still hear the sound; there is still `vibrant' bad Sha Qi usually at higher level apartments. Warmest Regards, Cecil

These are some considerations: 1. No issue with a water position be it a water feature or aquarium. Even in some landed properties; an urn with lily plants and some small fishes (fishes to prevent mosquitoe breeding is ok). 2. Nowadays; the more affluent even have large sea water tanks that have slightly thicker walls. 3. Traditionally, in the past a fish tank is often used to neutralize a lamp post etc... 4. For a hobbyist, any size of fish tank is fine or ok. 5. But if for the purpose of Feng Shui; often seek advice from the Geomancer. As often if the Geomancer used proper tools such as the Flying Stars; areas that may need a water feature to neutralize it may not…

DearCecil, Thanks so much for the prompt reply. Your opinion has been very reassuring. You are right, i supposed for most of us, we tend to look for 'concurrence' even if deep down we already have some 'innate guidelines'. And its great to know that everything is a blessing depending on how we interpret & take it! Thanks for your confidence; I 'll try to 'overcome' any seeming incompatibilities and strive to see the positive in day-to-day occurences. Wishing you the best of happiness, health & wealth! Take care & cheers! Chloe

Dear Max, Toilet Feng Shui is actually related to "Commonsense" then Feng Shui. Thus if one wants to call it: "Commonsense approach to Feng Shui". This is because one day, while I was driving on a highway; this person was saying that whenever we flush the toilet (bowl), germs "fly" all over the toilet. Even if the our toothbrush was a distance away; it will still contain some-form or type of baterial e.g. e-coli etc... Makes sense? Rite? Well, whathe asks us to do? Buy histablets to frequently dis-infect our toothbrush in it. Much like thosedenture cleaning agents! Therefore, does this not equate to "Toilet Feng Shui" where toilet qi is said not to be good? We…

Good morning! I am new to this forum and thank you in advance for your help) I was going through the past postings and came across the below and have further questions please. Are you saying that IF you have poison arrows pointed at your house such as electrical poles, sharp corners from other homes, church steeples, streets that end up across the street in front of your home and so on....that you should put up a bagua concave mirror foreach situation? For example....I have several electrical and/or telephone poles spaced out about 8 feet apart across the street. One of them has a transformer box thingie at the top with a big wire or cord that hangs over the street an…

Dear Leslie, On the topic of the bathroom, here are some guidelines:- 1. It is advisable not to have the toilet bowl exactly at the true compass directions:- a. In general, avoid having the toilet bowl at true cardinal points e.g. 0 degrees North, 45 degrees North-East, 90 degrees East i.e. every 45 degree increments. The rationale is that under the Eight House Theory, there are 8 sectors with four good and four bad sectors, having the toilet bowl directly at one of these locations could result in it `landing' on one of the auspicious directions. b. In a more specific analysis using the Flying Star Theory, it is best to avoid having the toilet bowl fall exactly at 0 degre…
