Dear Alvin Chua, Alvin Chua wrote: Using the Flying Stars method, I have a 5Yellow Water star and a 3 Green Mountain star in my bedroom. Can I hang five emperor coins to weaken the 5 Yellow and also control the 3 Green? Another thing that confuse me is this. If a room is filled with untimely inauspicious Flying Stars, will it help me if I position my bed and working desk to my best directions using the Eight Houses method? How does the two systems complement each other? Or conflict? Fei Xing (Flying Star) and Eight House (Ba Zhai) are two different concepts. 1. Flying Star is to assess the Qi and luck of the house itself. If a sector is inauspicious, it has to be balan…

Dear Anon, 1. A reasonable question asked is: ?Is this the only leak found in your home?" 2. Often, from my past experience, there is not just one leak (major) but several major leaks. Thus, in my opinion, taking this approach alone is too `simplistic' method. For example, if we try to `cover-our-backside'; it does not mean that our woes or problem may go away. In fact, we have protected our front-part which can be very vulnerable. Thus, we can still continue to be a " Virtual Eunuch "; even if we chopped down a tree. But it is an important step, nevertheless, if it poses or act as a poison arrow. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Sharose, Thanks for the picture. Perhaps it is a coincidence that you got flu (i.e. maybe duly worried and have lowered your resistence to flu). From a Feng Shui point of view, in my opinion, there seems to be no issue with the neighbour's fence. However, I cannot see your main entrance, but looking at the roof of the neighbour's home is pointed towards roughly your foot-path towards your main door? If so, this can be a sha-qi. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Master, After going through your site quite comprehensively i have been able to collect the following information about myself. The true element according to four pillars fengshui is Strong Water. The Kua Number is 7 makinng me a west group person. According to Eight house theory Northwest/ West/NorthEast and South West are good directions and North /South /SouthEast/ East are bad directions in that order. Excellent direction for facing of my house should be west but it is actually North. The main door of the house is in North and on the right ( Compass Direction East and while looking outside the main door from inside) of the aprtment there is a tall building …

Dear Robert Lee If I were to do painting my house or buying a house. How do I know feng shui and bazi have to be auspicious. How can I tell which part of my bazi is weak. Do I refer the day master or the yearly earthly branch or monthly branch. If the feng shui suitablity of the house is gooddoes that mean I also have to refer the bazi chart or either way bazi is good and thesuitablity is inauspicious.Do I have to check the breadwinner bazi. Hope to hear from you. Thank you in advance warmest regards Sophia Chia

Frankly, it is just a general statement. For enhancements or cures, the holistic approach to Feng Shui like application of Eight Mansions (Eight House) or Flying Star would be good enough. For Flying Star Feng Shui, usually areas affecting relationships are the sectors that may contain #3 conflicts/quarrels. Quote: Anonymous wrote: Dear Cecil, I was wondering how accurate is that, the House ### have the effects on the occupants of the house. If it is, then there must be some kind of cures for it. My house is P5 #2104 facing S. It's said Mother and Daughter don't get along. Please, give me some advises, Thank you for your kindness.

Dear Anon, Please see below:- Congratulations on your new home! In general, it is always prudent to look at `weaknessess' if any of a new home. Prior to making enhancements. This is usually the key success factor. Try to make sure that your main entrance door is protected. (Usually, there is no threats to the main entrance). But, there is no harm doing a `preventive audit'. Such as looking out of the main door and from all windows of the home. Check for poison arrows e.g. lamp posting slicing thru the main door or window(s) or other threats. Is there a direct path of `air flow' from the main door directly out at the opposite end? As mentioned, there is really no …

1. This layout is quite common. Usually, many owners erect a gypsum partition and take the opportunity to place their company logo and (for a business, a reception counter) and for e.g. retail outlet some window displays over this area. 2. As the picture shows that the staircase is quite a distance away from the main door, have such a "screen" as mentioned above, will be fine. Thus if one cannot see it, it no longer becomes a threat. Quote: The main door of my new shop is facing the staircase. What can I do so that it will not affect my business as I can't change the door location as this is rented from the owner.

Dear Anon, Actually, you can make full use of the free reports available at: http://www.geomancy-online.com to generate the various free reports for the best bed-head placement and also the best sitting directions for your work-office. 1. Please note that the link has been fixed, it should be working. 2. Since both of you intend to stay at both homes, your earth luck or Feng Shui will be influenced by the two homes and even the place of work. Frankly, there is no scientific accountability as to how much luck or influence comes from which home. However, logically, if you were to stay at a home from Monday to Friday (5 days) vs Saturday and Sunday (2 days) then the weightage may be mathematically divided based on this ratio. But, really, must life be so calculated? 3. In my opinion, your existing home or the Monday to Friday home should have the highest influence. 4. As to missing corners, very recentl…

Dear Anon, Nowadays, many of us immediately associate Feng Shui merely with the interior decor of a home. But this is far from the truth. For example, I refer to Dr Evelyn Lip's book "Chinese Geomancy - A layman's guide" Page 7:- Quote from her book: "There are three types of sha or sand which the geomaner looks for. These are represented by the various "star" symbols. The Star of Fire represents sand that has a sharp and cutting edge while the Star of Wood is sand that is round and straight. Sand that is long and round is called the Star of gold, whilst sand that forms a wave-like pattern is called the Star of Earth. Once the quality is sand is determined and classi…

Dear Pam, In Buddhism, in the past, monks used to supplement their `income' or donations to their temple by offering `readings' such as the " Three lives " or using bone divination. Here, a reading is done for one's past life, present life and future life. Where one's past has an influence on the present and perhaps the future (or roughly equating to the Krama, you had mentioned). Some of the " Three Lives " can be incorporated into another variation of Pillars of Destiny module. You have brought up an interesting issue on `Karma' and currently, in some aspects being a " bad person " has varing degrees and can also be a subjective issue. The terms of reference of Feng Sh…

The scope of Chinese Metaphyics is based on the holy trinity of luck:- a. Born with (ba zi) The ba zi or commonly known as Four Pillars or Pillars of destiny has its own tools which include things like : when is your romance period (and how good or how bad it is), your personal compatiblity, your luck and destiny. b. Feng Shui (home & office) In general, it affects your general wealth luck and sometimes, romance luck can be looked at and fine tuned. For example, certain homes have bad Shapes and Forms that can affect romance luck. While applying Flying star can detect and help to properly cure bad stars like #3 (romance, lawsuits, entanglements etc..). c. Human o…

Hi Master Lee, I was reading about feng shui and the kua number recently, and I have a question about recovering from illness. My kua number is 7, and I read that the Southwest direction is best for health. I'm from the Northeast part of the country (USA), but I moved to the Southeast a few years ago and I've felt ill since I moved here. I recently became sicker, and I wonder if I can recover if I move to the Southwest part of the country. If I move back to the Northeast, could I recover there? Thank you for any insight you can provide.

Dear Daniel, I am glad that you brought up your viewpoints. What you have mentioned in general is what some Feng Shui practioners practise: " Generalised Feng Shui ". One good thing about generalised Feng Shui is that one do not need to explain and analyse Feng Shui based on e.g. The Five Elements relationship. It is so easy to `preach' Feng Shui based on our feelings and to be on the safe side, use a fixed template. Anyone can practise such Feng Shui in hours. Each of us can write a book based on our experiences. To speed up things, one person writes about the Career Sector in the North. Invert the template for the South and this becomes a sensational book on Feng Shui f…

Hello, Where is the best location to place my Aquarium for wealth and money luck? Please see details below. Thank youA! I am an East person (Kua 4, female) with many career blockages / obstacles. Lot of earth in my chart, not enough fire. My partner is a West person (Kua 5, male). He is the breadwinner. I don't know where to put the Aquarium as we are opposites so I am confused. The house door faces West. The kitchen cooking area is South Kitchen eating area is in the South East part of the house. There is a kitchen cabinet between the stove and the kitchen eating area and a kitchen cabinet island between the cooking and eati…

Dear Lee Robert Thanks though for replying. Ummm, I do have one more question in mind. Here in a city in the philippines we have a geomancer named rev. father wongsengtian a taoist priest. He is called a fengshui master. Though he also is gifted with psychic abilities that he uses in assessing the chi of an area, as for cures he prescribes using charms like this Patron saints emblem or holy lotus? Is this still connected with feng shui or superstition. I thought feng shui is not connected with religion? Thanks, godspeed

Dear Jennifer, Please see below:- For the North Corner, you mentioned that there is a bad Yellow Earth. I am not sure if you have considered the other star and base number here. Assuming that by comparing all three numbers, there is indeed an imbalance, the best cure for bad Earth (yellow) and especially if other elements also feeds it, then, it would be better to use 6 coins to represent strong metal to help destroy it. Although a wind chime can do some help. (But it should not be used in conjuction with 6 coins as there may be an overal imbalance caused by the addition of the 6 coins or wind chime. Where possible the water feature should be in a `water star' positio…
