Hi, More importantly, it is the sharp edge of a building that we should be more concerned with. If the mirrored building is parallel to the wall of your building, you should not be overly concerned. Even if you are `concerned', you can easily draw down your shade or blind. Under the Sha or poison arrow concept, if you do not see it, it no longer becomes a threat. Warmest Regards, Cecil

You suggested strengthening weak wood with water and wood before taking advantage of my wealth element. Forgive me for sounding stupid, but even after I read the free things, I can't figure out what to do; especially with the Flying Star aspect. I am only more confused. What can I do to enhance these areas & where are these areas? P.S. My Feng Shui master, Dr. Weicherng Pan, passed away with stomach cancer a couple of weeks ago. He was just beginning to teach me before he passed on. So, I am a complete novice. And I am confused. So, bear with me, please.

Star 1 is suppose to be a good star. If it is the water star, then often, opening the main door would be great. If it is a mountain star 1, then, it is also good but main door need not be opened (all the time) to activate it.

Dear Elena, Yes, there is a recorded study known as something like "bubology" (sorry my spelling is wrong). This is a study in Germany where it was found that there is high correlation of cancer with beds above a sewerage pipe-line. Feng Shui is much about this invisible "qi" or water course such as a sewerage pipe which could emit harmful "vapours". It looks like it is difficult to relocate your bed. But are you sure that the sewerage pipe runs directly... or anyother better placement of the bed. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. OIC, it is a copper bowl (either medium or large). 2. Usually in general favourable dates to Chinese are either 15th day of each lunar month or 1st day of each lunar month if you do want to consider "activating" it. 3. Alternatively, you can check out your personal good dates for the next thirty days for free at the following URL:- dates.geomancy.net

Dear Anon, These are three alternatives which can be used in combination:- 1. Where possible use trees. I am not sure whether it is feasible for the trees to be planted outside the house. 2. Door painted `red'. This is where Fire is used to destroy metal (cannon ball/cannon which is comprised on metal) resulting in wealth creation. Caution: I do not know the person's element and strength and direction the door is facing so, this is a very general statement). 3. Can hang the Ba Gua mirror above the door. Other good alternatives:- 4. Tilting the main entrance door to one of the auspicious locations for the owner. (Strongly recommended) 5. Or use a convex door to deflect sha…

Dear Anon, For the Eight House, this is simple. You superimpose the individual's template on to the exact compass directions on both cases. For the Flying Star, it is best to consult a FS practioner to determine the location of the main entrance. I have not seen your exact layout plan so cannot give you a precise answer. However, if you are doing it on your own, you should consider the rectangle shape with the main entrance to determine the main entrance. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Usually, the two main components are looked at 6MS vs 9WS. 6 being Strong Metal and 9 being Strong Fire. Under the Five elements concept: http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm Under the destructive element or rather in this case, it should be known as "wealth creation": Fire melts metal to create wealth. As one school of thought also says: 3BS represents = Strong Wood; Wood supports fire, which melts Metal. It is acceptable to have YELLOW so that the entire "equation becomes a flow" where: Wood supports Fire, Fire supports Earth; and Earth supports Metal Here, Wood = 3BS; Fire = 9WS; Earth = Yellow and finally Metal = 6MS. The best or optimum flow is to add "wat…

Dear Marites Bobis, Marites Bobis wrote: Pls give me advice on what business suits me. Please use this link to first determine what element you belong to. Dear Master Cecil Lee, Your reply had been really exciting. On this similar subject, i would like also to touch the subject on palm reading, fortune telling, and face reading. All these are related to one person life destiny.Sometime, when we look for a fortune teller in which they look into the palm reading and analyse the person face and gave quite amazing reply. And also,we do hear people say about life is fated. So,can FS change one person fate? Plus, when we apply FS to improve our life with the changes occur ...what would be the relation effect with palm reading, fortune telling, and face reading.Thank you for sharing your thought on this subject. Dear Jason, Thanks for your description. Usually, since you are only staying in a room, try not to keep it cluttered with too many things. The main important layout would be your study table and your bed. Currently, as your room, I would imagine is small, you really cannot apply much of Feng Shui other than: 1. Under the Eight House theory, you an see if your study table is facing one of the auspicious directions. 2. Depending on the time of day and your study habits, you should either create a more Yang environment especially if you are studying late at night. One consideration is the fish tank. In many cases, a FS practioner would advise one not to place the fsh tank t…

Thank you for your reply. I was aware of Trinity of Luck in relevance to my situation but it was nice to know you share the same opinion on that.I do my best to have human luck and beleive one can even change a heaven luck(butthat is a different topic). I also don't like to sit and think some things are out of my control. You can get anything under your control if you try hard. The harder you try the luckier you get. I do beleive that even in my situation there are some remedies that could approve the four animals theory of my house. I just don't like the remedies offered in books, like hanging a Bakua mirror and hurt my neighbor while having a good time myself. I have …

In my opinion, these are two considerations:- 1.1 Even under Flying Star Feng Shui, there is a base #8 at that sector. And under Period 8, #8 is the reigning number does help greaterly. 1.2. Chinese consider red as auspicious (at the altar). On 1.1 alone, in my opinion: "if it ain't broken don't - unfix it". I personally feel - leave it as it is ... no issue.

Hardly think that the facing direction of the home is East as it is facing the side of your neighbours home. 3. Other than that; frankly…

Dear Gary, Gary Lim wrote: I find your website very user friendly and informative!.. Glad that you enjoy the information on our website:- Gary Lim wrote: I have 1 question though. recently, i checked the Chinese Calender (Those with auspicious &inauspicious predictions) and it shows that 16th of december is a good day for shifting house. What you need to remember is that a typical chinese calendar DOES NOT personalise to any one person. So it is a general date that is supposed to be good or bad for everyone. In general, there are two ways to check an auspicious date:- 1. Just do a quick lookup in a Tung Shu or Chinese Alamac, and pick the date that is deemed aus…

1. Under the Eight House (East/West Group) the best that can be done, here is:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Master_Bedroom:_Which_side_must_I_sleep_on 2. Otherwise, leave it. As under Eight House concept, there is very limited "cure" for this concept. A holistic approach to Feng Shui is different, it looks into this concept, plus Flying Star, plus Shapes and Forms of the bedroom.

Dear Spring, Traditional Chinese customs does not have a "Tai Sui" talisman i.e. they are not called Grand Duke nor Tai Sui talisman. However, there are some standard charms to be placed above doors (purpose? To ward off evil). The blessed charms are obtained usually from Taoist priests. Warmest Regards, Cecil

It is always good to "visualise" roughly where - if possible the closest point to or the exact location of the "centre of gravity" of a home. If one is totally not sure, then, try to paste a copy of the layout plan on a cardboard. Then cut-out the outline of the entire layout plan. Then try to balance the entire layout plan onto a piece of nail. (If one can visualise, your original centrepoint in my opinion, will most likely not be balanced on a pin or nail point. Quote: Anonymous wrote: Thank for your prompt reply. Based on your suggestion, you have ignored the contributing factor of the BEDROOM 3 into the determination of the centerpoint. Dear Chris, 1. In addition to looking the Eight House of your child, do remember to see that especially the location of the bed is in a `good' position. For example, it should not be seen directly from the bedroom door or the headrest of the bed is at the window. There are some materials on this at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/theory.htm 2. Avoid overhead beams and any poison arrows such as sharp corners pointing to any part of the bed. 3. You mentioned that the death or disaster lines are `almost' in the middle of the rooms. There is a really not much you can do. Where possible, let them sleep closer to a more `favourable' intangible force. Under the Eight House Theory,…
