Dear Kim, TEO KIM ENG wrote: Can you advice me on how to find the "cai wei" in the house. Generally, the "cai wei" is always changing depending on your house luck. It changes from each 20-year Period to20-year Period and even year-to-year/month-to-month. However, we often focus on the main 20-year and yearly luck if any. The way to find it is to use the flying star chart which is available in our member area:- URL: http://login.geomancy.net Generally, if your house is built between 2004-2023 (Period 8), then your current wealth sector is star 8, while your future star is Star 9 etc. So where there is a water star 8 that is your Zheng Cai (earned wealth), while the mou…

Dear Gary, Gary Lim wrote: I find your website very user friendly and informative!.. Glad that you enjoy the information on our website:- Gary Lim wrote: I have 1 question though. recently, i checked the Chinese Calender (Those with auspicious &inauspicious predictions) and it shows that 16th of december is a good day for shifting house. What you need to remember is that a typical chinese calendar DOES NOT personalise to any one person. So it is a general date that is supposed to be good or bad for everyone. In general, there are two ways to check an auspicious date:- 1. Just do a quick lookup in a Tung Shu or Chinese Alamac, and pick the date that is deemed aus…

Dear Master Robert Lee, Thank you for the generous reply. You mentioned about "So as long as you avoid having any major renovations in this sector or East sector of the house (which is the opposite of the location in conflict:West), then you are usually quite safe." May I know what is East conflicting with in the West? I know that 3 Killings is in the West, does this mean we can'trenovate anything that is opposite of 3 Killings? We are planning to paint the room in the South White to counter the 5 Yellows there in 2008. Thanks to your free auspicious date calculator, we will start the painting and moving of furnitures on 27 Dec, 2008 since the next few dates are ve…

What does this mean, and how can I introduce metal between us? What kind of metal? I think we really need it lol. Thank you so much for your help on this, and throughout this amazing website!! Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I intend to buy a corner unit HDB flat on the 10th floor. But when walking along the corridor leading to the main door of the flat, can see the back of a cremetorium and a temple. However, can't really see these 2 buildings from inside the flat. Also, I would like to know if it would be a cause for concern if the masterbed room and another bedroom is rather near the corridor of the next block of flats. As I need to reply the owner soon, would appreciate a prompt reply. Generally, if you can directly see the cremetorium or temple from your house, then it will be direct major concern. Otherwise, if you cannot see it it should be ok. But on a p…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hi Master Cecil I have a one big rectangular mirror placed in my dining room. Under feng shui is it gd to place it? Generally, mirrors under feng shui can bounce double the good or bad luck depending on where it is placed. The more appropriate is to avoid:- 1. Placing mirror where it bounces the Qi out of the houses. For example if you open a door and immediately see a mirror, any good qi that is trying to enter into the house, may be bounced right out of the house. 2. Mirror must either be a single piece or 3 pieces. Never double, as when you view it is like you are being divided. Which can signify divorce. 3. Mirrors in bathrooms is or i…

Dear Anon, Most likely, your friend or friend's family don't have any elderly in need of aid such as wheelchair bound or walking stick! In addition, some elderly or even those who may have some illness such as diabetes that may need to go toilet often. Tell them to "enjoy" walking up and down the home. In addition, for us Chinese, we do cook alot : lots of wet ingredients. Tell it to us, to first bring up our marketing items.. hopefully prawns don't leak it's contents on the walkway etc... Later, need to dispose of it. Don't get me wrong, I like the "idea". But. as especially for the Chinese, many of us live with our parents, especially to look after them. Not to "…

Please advise Generally, if you see when you stand at your main door looking out, then it may pose as a problem if it the plant is on it's own as it may be like a lone tree/lamppost. However, if the plants you place around it break the shape of the bamboo so that it is no longer a lone lone sharp thin bamboo, then it should be ok. For example, if you placed many many plants together as a group, then even if there is a bamboo, it looks…

Where is the best place to keep these in the house? Generally, books are simply knowledge. As long as you keep them neatly in the shelves. It won't really create bad energy even though medical is often related to yin. So just place them in the your study. If you are really so bothered by it, try to get covered bookshelf so that the books titles are out of sight (hidden inside the shelf). In feng shui, what you can no longer see will no longer becomea threat. Hope that helps. …

But other than that, it is usually not a major concern. If the house cross faces the house, then you might have to put some mirror to reflect it away. Dear Maxx, maxx ha wrote: The flying star for next year, facing south is evil position but my kua said is wealth. Which should I follow? You need to always remember, your gua determines your favourable directions. There will always be 4 good and 4 bad directions. However, what is good for you need not necessary means that the luck for the house in that direction will be good for you. The flying star basically tells you how is the luck of the house for that particular year / month etc. So what it means is that next year the luck of your house will change in that sector slightly. So you still need to fix it. Once you correct the sector, then the it will continue to remai…
