Dear Anon, 1. Seems like Savannah Condo Park is considered a "pet project" of CDL Properties because of it's extra emphasis of giving this condo a one-of-a-kind theme. 2. The plus point for this condo is that the highest floor is 9th (penthouse). (As compared to many others that rise higher than 20 plus floors). An advantage -here. 3. Because of the maximum 9th storey, it is acceptable for an "eye" shaped-like top-view layout plan. Since qi can still flow sufficiently all round the inner blocks. (Contrast this to the Costa Del Sol condo at East Coast. In my opinion, because of it's height - high rise - the higher the blocks, greater is the unbalanced qi for an `eye' shape…

Dear Anon, 1. The key success factor in a home is: location, location and location. 2. There is a difference between a "good house" and and "excellent house". 3. An excellent house is overall a `good house' plus it takes advantage of it's environment - to give it better Feng Shui. 4. An excellent house often makes use of it's external surroundings to give it a greater advantage i.e. it `sucks' or `soak' in wealth. 4.1 For example, it's main door is posited at a specific location that `collects' wealth from other developments or houses. Much like water draining (wealth) into the house. 4.2 Often, if the above is rare or cannot be physically achieved; the next best thing i…

Dear Ryan, Usually, company logos have been designed based on either i.e. based on a owner's Ba Zi i.e. weak water... etc... Colour is also widely used in Feng Shui. Geomancy-u.com 's logo was designed based on our scope/field of discipline i.e. studies and based on Robert's and mine element and strength. Although website designs are new, in this site, we have used colours for each of our sites (in our personal opinion, reflect best on Feng Shui principles). For example, our Resources site/pages is in green. Where green is like a tree sprouting roots and branches. The forum www.geomancy-forum.com uses the colour blue to represent (again to the best of our opinion) exchan…

About the X century After Christ(Tang/Ten States, Five Kingdoms Dinasties) They have at the anverse, four symbols: Kai Yuan Tong Bao, the squeare in the centre and the reverse have no symbols in the age. Could be useful these coins in Feng Shui or I have to use coins from the Ching dinasty? thanks

Dear Anon, You don't need any money for using cures in traditional feng shui. What you have been reading about is BTB feng shui and it does not work. Trust me I am talking from personal experience. Don't waste your money on BTB cures. Instead apply the pillar of destiny, 8 house theory and flying star and shape and form and it will help you to achieve balance in all area of your life. Instead of focusing all your energy on wealth why don't you concentrate on health and peace of mind. Since if one does not have health and peace of mind one cant earn or enjoy the wealth. You can ask cecil or robert lee to help you. They have helped many people (who were in financial trouble…

    1. Flying Star Feng Shui and Ba zi has a Lowest Common Denominator (LCM) i.e. all it's components can be further analysed under the Five Elements concept. 2. As mentioned, in my previous msg, what I need to say has already being said about the Eight House concept. You can also read up this link:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach

  10. 1. There are some write-ups on Gateway, Parkview Square, DBS, UOB, Suntec City etc... in the past resources - could be as far back as 6 or more years ago in this forum. 2. For the Singapore landmarks, there is such thing as Black and White Feng Shui. Some of the resources are again deep in the forum. 3. Nowadays, most forum users are continue to be more interested in "I" , "me", "my" and not so much of how fantastic things are in Singapore Landscape. Here, they just want to hear from themselves, things close to them. Especially if they don't work in Singapore city.

Appended by Cecil:- --- Start --- Dear Alan, I have sent you a private e-mail on your queries. Thanks. Warmest Regards, Cecil --- End --- Hi Cecil, I'm actually quite interested to invite U for a on-site feng shui audit for my 5RM HDB flat but one of the main worry is that as I've just shifted into my current flat for abt 2yrs, I'm not prepared to have a major renovation work done. Is it always possible to have alternate remedy for any problem found so as to avoid major changes to my current home setting? Thanks and regards, Alan

  12. Feng Shui like many other disciplines; have a macro and micro view. The macro scope can be:- 1. The Landscape 2. The site 3. The building or the home. Thus more often, the above three are equally important as the interior of a home. Therefore, Feng Shui cannot live in isolation without the surroundings. 4. The home interior:- 4.1. When planning a home, Feng Shui is looked at in it's entirety. 4.2. What you are looking at or consider looking at is MICRO-Feng Shui of say one or two rooms. Feng Shui can do so.

  13. Dear Regina, Thanks:) A truly excellent insight and eye-opener on the state of "Feng Shui" today:)) Since the 1990's, many book publishers have also noticed that in order for books to sell (WELL), it should have some write-up in the name and holy trinity of Feng Shui:( Cheers! Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, It is not a `conclusive' fact that paintings can neutralise bad sectors. In well published Feng Shui cures, the most common neutralizing agents range from: 1. If you cannot see it it no longer becomes a sha. 2. Use of lighting, water positions and plants. 3. Use of 6 coins to defeat say the bad #2 and #5 For paintings, it is mostly used to enhance the interior. Caligraphy of meaningful words are commonly used. One can say that as there are many practioners with their view points, or agenda, there are those who pay emphasis on paintings while others do not really feel that they are of the utmost importance. In my personal opinion, painting is secondary. What is …

Dear Sir, I am a West person and my GUA number is 2. I have recently shifted to a new office. By using the 8 Mansion ? Ba Zhai theory, I am sitting at the NW corner but my table is arranged that (due to space), I am facing the SE square. I can only move my chair to make sure that I am facing NE corner while I?m doing my paperwork. But when when I do computer, I am facing the S square. The entrance of the office is at the NW corner, at my left side. There isn?t much can be done because I am the secretary to my Executive Director. Both of my bosses belong to East group as they are born in 1955. His GUA number is 1. My questions are: 1. How can I maximise my good direction…

  16. Dear Bato, 1. In my opinion, it is easier to reply to your question if the placement is more of a hobby. 2. But if it is meant more for Feng Shui, then there are usually more considerations:- 2.1 In General:- It is still acceptable to place a fish tank along the wall area especially the living room area. 2.2 More specific:- - it is to avoid the placement of a water position close to the centrepoint of the house - be careful of placing water positions especially if the breadwinner and spouse are either `weak fire' or `strong water' persons. For example, water can further extinguish a weak fire element person. And water is not favourable to a strong water person. 3. Lookin…

Dear Peck Wun, Please see below:- Under Shapes and Form Feng Shui, there is not much one can do unless one occupies another room. Usually, in such a situation:- 1. Always get the Shapes and Form of the placement of the interior of the bedroom right. For example, where ever possible, see if the bed can be on the opposite wall of the bedroom door. Or have the bed head placed against a solid wall. 2. This depends on the individual. But often, Flying Star Feng Shui is used to evaluate this and other rooms to neutralise any Sha Qi if any. The limited cures are either:- 1. Placement of a mirror on the wall to create a symbolic `extension'. 2. Placement or either a win…

Note: Yes, Spencer; please do use the 8 sector measurement for Yang (for the living). As mentioned earlier, this has been used as early as the Sung Imperial carpenters to built furniture/doors etc... for their emperors. Cecil Hi Cecil Thank you so much for a very informative session. I have came across two other writers who mentioned that the 8 sectors measurement being used for all measurements. Nothing was distinguished between Yin and Yang measurements or 8 or 10 sector measurements. So that makes 3 of you. Then i came to another writer who stated that the 8 sectors are meant for external measurements such as fences, gates (not tombs). And the 10 sector measurements a…

Dear Chee Kiat, I totally agree with what you had said. 1. In East such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Singapore, we have always learnt that Feng Shui does not depend on highly commercialised products that are produced to satisfy the `demand' and driven by unscrupulous people in the name of " Feng Shui ". 2. When I tried to do a search under the search engines for Feng Shui products; for our friend in Portual; I found several Feng Shui emporiums that have tied in with so called Feng Shui practitioners to help `push' their products. 3. Feng Shui is now so contaminated and commercialised by all these association with material goods which are highly marked up and only to f…

Dear Shelley, Thanks for bringing up this interesting question. A while back I mentioned that originally, Feng Shui is used at a macro level. At the micro level, we still look at the homes. But for the homes, it is more generalised Feng Shui. For example, in the past, we do not content with sleeping on a metal bed nor a water bed. We simply sleep on wooden beds because wood is easier to find and make use of. In a wider extent, symbols do play a part in ancient homes which are decorated with wooden panels or wooden carvings. Even the wooden Chinese antique furnitures have inlaid mother-of-pearls e.g. of leaves, flowers, fishes etc... This is not so much of Feng Shui but cu…

Dear Gem, Apologise for the late response. Must have missed this question. Basically for selling a house, there is no reason for you do a Home Audit, so the best I can suggest is that you keep the house clean and pleasing to look at. Furthermore, Feng Shui can only be used to enhance the balance in nature. It is not a miricle cure or solution to every problem. On a personal note, is to enhance you personal self with your favourable elements, so that it increases your luck while you are meeting up with prospective buyers. Other than that, basically, there is nothing much other tips that works for selling a house. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Amarjit, In my opinion, one of the major area is to ensure that one applies good examination techniques, good balanced, study and good rest when needed. Feng Shui plays only an indirect role. And it is also about, having a conducive environment. Many people, study and in constant contact with friends taking the same examination. Here, "motivating" each other to study, is equally good. The saying.... " Erh.. did I forget something? " What the "heck!" - Just do your best! No one can fault you! Warmest Regards, Cecil
