Hi Cecil, I had sent you a separate e-mail as I was unable to access your forum using Netscape 4.76 but now switched to Internet Explorer and I can now access it. I took more pictures of the house and included the interior floor plan. You can see them at: http://photos.yahoo.com/benjaminjue Feng Shui is new to me and after looking at your site, I also realized that the Master Bedroom in over the garage and that there are "many poison arrow pointing to the front of the house from the neighbors roofs. What I plan on doing is planting a potatoe tree in front of (middle of) the big window to cover that up and removing that other small tree, using a Bagua mirror on the same…

Dear Analia, 1. For a Period 7 house or houses built between 1984 to 2003, this Lunar year is rather `interesting'. 2. This is because the Year Flying Star numbers coincide with the 20 Year Flying Star numbers. 3. For example, in majority of Period 7 homes, East Sector has a base number #5 and the year number is also #5. 4. Similarly, for all other sectors, the base number matches the year chart. 5. Thus this implies that just looking at these two influences, each sector can already by `default' be very bad or very good. 6. For example, since East has 2 constant #5 or Misfortune sickness, due to time dimension of Feng Shui, the chances of another bad star such as any of …

Further to what I had mentioned; firstly we buy things that do not fit our culture. The next major consideration is that some people are already in financial distress. Given this situation; asking them to buy some products (which often does not guarantee) a "return" is not a wise choice. Sure, if we have money to spare, and for those who feel nice buying products (much like impulse buying) can do so. But for those who are already in "deep shit"; buying goods on credit i.e. many years back, I coined this " Credit Card Feng Shui "; is a really bad choice. Thus, many of us do not blink an eye, throwing away good food. But imagine, there is some one waiting outside, hoping t…

    1. Any element if it becomes or constantly is strong is no good. For example #6 represents metal. Thus, as I had mentioned earlier, a set of six coins e.g. where each coin has a square hole (earth) which supports metal (strengthening it or controlling) it. Thus it is still good to have red string (with or without the tassle to tame or control it). 2. However, on it's own #6 is considered as past, past prosperity star. So exactly or directly not a useful star. Unlike #7 which is also a metal element. But it is a weak metal. And only under Period 7, it is a good "kind" star. During any other Periods, many know it as "Thief or robbery star." 3. #6 in any period is generally…

These are some interesting links on the reversal of the earth's magnetic field. Although it may not happen sometime in the near future, at least... one day... when it happens; for Feng Shui practitioners (if earth still exists); Will have to first depend on the Shapes and Forms.. while a wide ranging debate much "worse" than the one that had happened in the 1990's where some AustralianGeomancers had the "wrong" idea that Flying star charts should be reversed just becauseof the experiment of "draining" the sink and water vortex is directly opposite that of the northern hemisphere... http://www.geomag.bgs.ac.uk/reversals.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geomagnetic_r…

These are some considerations:- 1. From your sketch; the lamp post does not seem to slice thru your main gate. 2. In such a situation, the sha qi from the lamp post is not a threat to your main gate area even if it is a sliding type. 3. Since it is not a threat to the main gate; from a Feng Shui point of view; there is no need to replace or update your main gate; other than for asthethic or cosmetic reasons.

Is there any Chinese protocol that I should follow for the proper disposal (or throwing away) of the old Money Frog? 1. Feng Shui items are not imbued with mystical abilities, including the Money frog, which is considered a marketing ploy and primarily used for aesthetic purposes. 2. These items do not require any specific rituals or protocols to be followed, as they are considered more as art pieces. 3. 15. Chinese New Year (CNY) andAuspicious Day to Start Work: 2nd, 6th or 8th day When do we open for business during CNY? In this sms, a client asks " In the first 15 days of Chinese New Year... can you choose a good date for me & partner. Unless one is getting married etc... then may consider choosing an auspicious date. But generally for Chinese New Year and which day to first open for business; should apply it in a global context. Thus, if one reads the past threads; one should try to open for business on "even days". And avoid "odd " days....

    1. Further to what I had mentioned; hope I get what you said correclty. As so far, in the life of this forum and in my life-time; have yet to come across your earlier question. 2. Please see illustration. 3. Assuming that if we take a compass reading from A to B and this equals to 0 degrees = pure North cardinal point. 4. Then even if we take a reading say from C to D; E to F; G to H; tell me what is the reading? Is it the same reading as A to B = 0 degrees?

Dear Shifu, I have got also information about posion arrow in Info section of your forum. I just know that ShaQi can exist not only outdoor but also indoor. For outdoor poison arrow one can use bagua convex mirror to deflect the shaqi as far as I know. My question about indoor posion arrow: What if there is no possibility to avoid sitting/facing in a line of poison arrow (e.g. corner/edge of a wall)? what is the cure? Bagua mirror is not right cure for indoor as far as I know. Thank you in advance. Warm regards, ZQ

Hi, I recently had a bagua installed on front door due to poison arrow structure right outside my door step, but there's a blue sticker (i think those on mirror/metal/glass to protect from scratch) on it. The person insists it's not a sticker and that it is fine and asked me never to touch it. Is it ok to leave it like that or should I just remove it regardless?

  24. Hi Cecil I have to install an ancestor altar table but I realise those ready made are higher than my existing table. I saw the fengshui ruler for yin. My current Guan Yin table height is 126cm with side wings but actual height is 115cm. I need to custom made a table lower than 117cm. Is 112cm ideal for ancestor table or should be be same height as 117cm. Appreciate your advise. Thank you.

  25. As a final option, individuals who are extremely pressed for time and need to begin renovations right away can opt to perform the initial open door procedure and remove all items after waiting for one hour. This is typically the case when the client has to vacate their current residence, has just received the keys, and must start renovations immediately.
