Dear Kolsan, If the first floor file is too big, please upload it ot the "Conference for attaching layout" which permits larger uploads. Will review your layout i.e. first and second floor together after it (the first floor layout) has been uploaded. Thank you. Cecil

Dear Cecil: (Please let me know if it is disrespectful to call you by your first name. I saw someone refer to you in his letter as Feng Shui Master. Would you prefer that?) Thanks again for answering my question, and with that in mind I have another question as to the cure. Since I am not partial to the look of wind chimes in the home,I was wondering if the bell chimes would be as effective? I found a really beautiful onebut I don't wanttowaste my money on something that won't work.My thinking was, if I am to use metal as a cure then it would be my choice. I look forward to hearing form you again. Be well. Lisa

Hi, Apologise for the late respond, as this message is sent anonymous, it does not get posted to our e-mail. Please read below:- You have to consider the period the house was built as Flying Star is for the birth chart of the house. There are several schools of thought:- 1. Once you make major renovation to the house, the entire house birth chart is altered to the year of the renovation. 2. The main door is considered your chi of your house and that all the levels of the house uses the same chart based on the flying star of the main door at the ground floor. 3. Every level has its own chart, and each level should be calculated based on the entrance to that level.…

Please correct me if I am wrong. I am reading both our yearly and 20-year reports. In the 20-Year report, there is only one Five Element Analysis which is Mountain vs Water. This is pretty straight forward for me and I have already applied the cures. In the Yearly report, there are 2 Five element analysis, 20-Year Star vs Year Star and Mountain Star vs Water Star. Is the 20-Year vs Year Star the one I should read for the yearly cures? Also, if the sector is inauspicious on the 20-yers report and also in the yearly report, should I double the cure? For example, my east section is being reported to be inauspicious for the 20-year report and the proposed solution is metal. I…

  5. Dear Anthony, Like mathematics, the 20 Year Flying Star has three variables, quickly it is the Mountain star, Water and Base star. And primarily when we engage a Feng Shui practitioner to look into the home, he/she will work out the Feng Shui qi based on these three variables. Since it makes sense that even for a Period 7 apartment, the qi will be based on this 20 Year Flying Star. Since the home is still considered as a Period 7, one has to use this as a BASE. If you are able to look at it under the Year star, then in general one should be careful of sectors like South (where the annual Five Yellow) is. In general, so even if South has good 20 Year Stars, as you have…

Dear Anon, 1. Each of us have our own birth chart. And in the Chinese system this is known as our individual `Ba Zi' or `Pillars of Destiny' or also known as `Eight Characters'. 2. Here, do we change our birth chart, say every 20 years? Yes / No? 3. Our birthday (birth date) always remains. 4. Flying Star Feng Shui 5. Imagine, your home. Does it have a birth chart? Yes. 6. We can draw a parallel to this to Ba Zi. Each house is said to have it's own birth chart. 7. Often, the chief consensus is that a house birth chart will change only when there is a major renovation done to the house/home. 8. For example, the clue here is that if all houses MUST change their birth chart.…

  7. Dear Joji, Appreciate if you can re-confirm the following, by filling in the blanks: 1. 20 Year Flying Chart for North Sector: ======================================== What is the #Mountain, #Base and #Water (Here, the base is equally important to understand the specific sector). 2. Year Chart: ============= What is the reining number for the Year Sorry to ask this because, I am confused by what you had written below. Usually the normal convention is #2 MS vs #5 WS #6 BS And for the Year = e.g. #1 YR Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Carrie Barker, Yes, this year 2000 is "metal dragon". The "metal dragon" does indeed come from the combination of both the heavenly stem and the earth branch, this year being "geng" (metal) heavenly stem and "zun" (dragon, which is also earth) earth stem. The daily forecast seems to show only the earth stem. Please note that the pronounciations of the word "geng" and "zun" are not the most accurate. For reference, it is the 7th heavenly stem and 3rd (or fifth, depending on what you have been told) earth stem. Kam

  12. Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I read this article which detailed out Flying Star nos. for year 2006 (fire dog year) - as in #8 (N), #3(centre) and so on. It went on to caution against the SE & S sectors and advised general cures for all directions, e.g. avoid red in SE, avoid metal in NW. You should always remember, any yearly analysis without considering the full flying star of the house should be treated as general advise only. As how good or bad depends on the stars interacting with the actual flying star of the house. Anonymous wrote: My question is - would not the above yearly FS nos. clash with the house period Flying stars as well as the monthly nos.? Which nos…

Dear Anon, Please refer to the following link:- http://www.geomancy.net/resources/yearly-forecast/fortunes-2008.htm Take note the following sectors:- Sickness Star this year is at North-West Misfortune/Sickness Star this year is at South Disputes/Quarrel Star this year is at West Education/Romance Star this year is at North-East Grand Duke this year is North, 0 Degree. - Avoid sitting facing the grand duke or disturbing him by having renovations. Location in Conflict is South. - Avoid having renovations done opposite the location in conflict. For 2008, avoid both North and South as mentioned, above. This year 5 yellow also happens to be at South. Thus, especi…

Thanks for the advise. I read some articles said that for those who born in the year of monkey cannot change job in this year(2008) as there is only one lucky star, is that true? As I born in the year of monkey and I got retrenched (still jobless now) Can fengshui help me on my job hunting? (I mean improve my chances on getting a new job as soon as possible) Please advise. Thanks.

  15. Started by myfs_126075,

Perhaps, it is best to clarify your statement. As Tai Sui or Grand Duke usually refers to the situation, where planet Jupiter has the greatest magnetic field and for this year, the Grand Duke (Tai Sui) is located at North sector). Thus, it would not be good to especially do renovations, at this sector. And other things. Thus Tai Sui / Grand Duke is not an object that you can purchase and place it in the home.

Can you please tell me what one does when their good luck directions are occupied with bad stars for the year? Dear Cecil Thanks for answering my last post about trigrams it was greatly appreciated. I had one last question. 2017 has been a horrible year for me so far, what Queen Elizabeth II would call an Annus Horribilis. My great grandmother died I've been in the hospital twice And a job I recently started didn't work out for me so it's back to the drawing board. -My bedroom is and has been (for the last 20+ years) located in the South West location of my apartment which i share with my parents. -I was also born December 26th 1988 so I'm an Earth Dragon with a Gua No. 3 and Trigram "Chen" …

  24. Hello, I just moved into an apartment I am now finding a few issues and I am a little stumped on how to fix them or what to do in the area. My front door is located on the side of a house and the door opens up to my staircase. Any cures? I did place a chime on the door knob. This is also my career sector. I also found many windows and screens broken glass cracked, missing. I can not afford to fix them and my landlord said apt as is. So thank you for your time and help. Maricha
