Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: thanks for your reply, is it okay to place a water feature at nortwest palace to enchance water star 9. while placing remedies or enchancers inside the palace should one apply small tai chi or one can place within the boundaries of the palace or one can place within a palace 15 degree of mountain location. Usually, for cures, you should try to go for colour scheme balancing which is the most effective to cover the entire sector of the room. Then there will be no issue in applying or placing the water feature. In general, you want to apply or place the cure as close to the 15 degree sector of the direction to be most effective. Hi, This is a good question. What we must understand in Feng Shui is that the " frontage " of the house is very important. This is where natural light enters the house especially through the windows. The test is to stand inside the house and even with some curtains hanging at the windows (at the open position), you should have sufficient light to read in the house especially in the daytime and during normal hours and an average day. Here, you should not be unduly worried if it is a `stormy' day and you see a `dark' house. Alternatively, in the above senario, you should also be aware that this is also the side of the house where it is `presented' to the public ie. it is d…

These are the considerations:- 1. Any of the breadwinner(s) doing your own business? If yes, be careful, this is certainly one down... so there should not be more wealth leaks in the home. 2. If any of the breadwinners are salaried worker(s) - not so bad. Generally, still "manageable" or acceptable. 3. From a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui point of view, so long as a car can (may or maynot) slam into the home from the junction; it is a considered a leak. From one of the pictures.. from outside looking inwards.. it does seem so. Therefore, in Feng Shui, this is one equivalent of a home affected by T junction. 4. From the inside, it looks more comforting as the garden seems…

Dear Jim, There are two ways at looking at having a fish tank: 1. For enjoyment. 2. `Reading' from somewhere and buying a fish tank and hoping for something auspicious to happen. Jokingly, I remembered seeing the title of a book " What they don't teach you in Harvard Here it is the same thing with fish tank. " You may end up with more than one can bargain for with fish tanks ". Is it better off not knowing FS? Usually, when one purchase a fish tank, we normally would have visualised a location in our home to place the fish tank. In most instances, it is usually at one side of the wall and not the centre of the house. In fact, intution plays an important part especial…

  9. Dear Anon, In Feng Shui practise, there always some who pay more attention to `detail' while others feel that this is secondary or not as important. For example, some FS practioners would require their clients buy a `unique' bamboo flute which they had `especially' designed e.g. a Dragon and Phoenix Flute and insist that their clients use these. (i.e. the Dragon on the East side or left and the Phoenix is on the right). I believe, one salient point is to make a personal opinion for ourselves whether is the practioner trying to sell commercial products or to our belief, the practioner is doing it for our own good. It is equally debatable whether one must have say a particu…

dear Anon, 1. Yes, I strongly believe that good authors often state facts. 2. Even if our homes is miles away from the sea; we are literally affected by daily high/low pressures. 3. Even the idea of full moon i.e. our moon is many thousands of mile high; yet, there were documented cases of people's mood affected by the magnetic force of the moon. We can literally see high/low tides based on the moon's gravitational pull. 4. Even the Grand Duke theory is based on the planet Jupiter .. which is said to be the biggest planet and thus have a `magnetic' influence on our planet earth. 5. Thus, one must never, never discount: Macro Feng Shui. 6. Yet, time and time again, we…

Dear Anon, It me elaborate that the reason some book authors or Feng Shui practioners advise not to place plants or flowers (especially real flowers) that these are considered Yang especially growing plants. Bedrooms normally should be more Yin location. Based on the little information provided, you can either: As for whether it is bad for marriage, in my opinion, this is a question mark. What I mean here is that we have not much information to go on. Usually, for an accurate picture, it should be looked into after considering both partners element and the strength plus what is the Flying Star at the location. This should provide a deeper analysis. All I can say for now i…

I just realized that every house has both good and bad directions. I will say that my 'spook' direction, which is for me in my sw direction, has sent me to the hospital 3 times! I won't spend anytime in that room! Ever. My goal is to move some day. But not possible now. So, there must be a way to shift the energy in a room when it is in the BAD direction, and the bed can't be placed in a good direction without making a very strange design choice. My closets and doorway are in my best direction...SE. v>I think maybe I should go with what you told someone else... don't worry about it? Thing is, it has been a struggle for me ever since I moved in, mostly to establish wha…

  18. Dear Joe, In general, we should consider Yin Feng Shui as having a different "ruleset". What I mean is that all (or most) books that you purchase are usually based on Yang Feng Shui. Yin rulesets are quite different from Yang Feng Shui. For example, the Feng Shui ruler has a measurement for the living (Yang FS) and a different set of measurement for the dead (Yin FS). In Yin FS, a FS practioner will usually do a FS assessment of the gravesite. For example, he/she will use a Chinese Luopan. Place it in the middle and even use a long string to get the correct measurements to check the alignment on the Chinese Luopan to ensure that he/she get the right ausicious direction fo…

Hi Cecil, I am very grateful for your reply. It is difficult to find such great person to offer thisto stranger these days. I have checked and indeed I belong to weak yang wood. Is "metal" industry suitable for me? The reason for asking is though the offered company is in plastic injection business, they are also involved in tool making. At the same time, they are also looking into doing metal stamping business. If an offer is very attractive but belonging to the "unfavorable" career, what should one do to avoid the "clash"? Thank you sincerely.

  20. Appended by Cecil: Please check theFREE advice report again: http://dates.geomancy.net . The report comes "AS-IT-IS". It does clearly states no auspicious timing is given. Dear Master Lee, Can we ask some advice what (range) hours would be auspicious to move in our new home on July 7, 2009? We have checked that July 7 is the most auspicious day for the whole family to move in. Looking forward to your guidance. Thank you very much. Y.L. Lin

  21. In such a situation: 1. Where possible, during the process of moving your bed from existing home to new home upstairs; you should if possible not be around at that time; as a well as once the bed has been set; don't move it or adjust it anymore. Here, your husband should be the co-ordinator and decide whether the bed is properly setand not later moved or changed position, whatsoever. 2. Often, if possible, after the bed has been moved upstairs; try if possible not to go into that existing bedroom (anymore). When the new bed / bedroom has been properly set; then you can go in.

As this is only a general free advice forum, there will be no specific analysis; if so; since you had read the advice, you have to ask whether you believe in it or to play it safe - take extra caution when you may need to travel on those days.

Hi, Each year, the 7th month under the Lunar Calendar is called the 7th month: 1. This is also called the Hungry Ghost. 2. For this year, it is around 11 August and 9 September. If you have a Calendar with the Lunar dates, you can check out when the 7th month starts and ends. 3. To the Chinese, this is a very inauspcious period especially for: a. Any outdoor activities and includes no renovations. 4. What is the 7th month? In brief, this is based on Chinese `Superstition' or to be more exact, a Chinese Belief. It signifies that ghosts are let out to the world during this period they are allowed to roam around. 5. Many `celebrate' the occasion by giving offerings e.g. buyi…
