Dear Anon, In general, if an HDB precint has majority either North or South facing apartments, then if particuarly the male breadwinner is a West group person, may consider looking at especially if it is a Flying Star Period 8 South 2 and 3 apartments where there is particularly a double #8's at it's facing direction. Is the SW direction good for water features for period 8 or is it for 2008 only? Therefore, in general, a toilet is exactly not a major issue for such homes. Instead of placing those mirrors or screens or false wall, in my opinion, it is simply to leave it as it is. You have not mentioned whether your work space is an open desk or already have a low height partition.
