But if you are trying to analyse your apartment, then; for high floors or high storeys 8th storey and above, then it is often the frontage of the apartment or often the living room area or the facing direction where you have the most windows and/or balcony. If your apartment is often 7th storey and below, then often, it should be the main entrance to your unit. Hello Master I am in the process of building my dream family home and reading through the web I could not find a definitive answer regarding the front door and front gate alignment. I am looking to build the gate similar to the photos that is attached. Please provide some insight as to this placement is good or bad or is there something that can be done to counter the bad. Frankly, I am not too sure from your description whether plum color looks more like `gold color'. As, there is a wall between the two front and back door. 2. In Feng Shui, it is advisable not to be under a sloping roof. However, this is much better than directly under (sitting) under a beam. Dear Fred, 1. It would be better if a partition (if possible) be placed between the front door and the staircase instead of a crystal. Usually, a crystal would not (in my opinion work). 2. To slow down the qi, plants could be placed at the steps of the stairs. (But preference should be given to Para 1.) 3. Based on your description, looks like the frontage of the house is the ocean view side instead of the main door side. In such a situation, it would not be ideal to place a water position on the `technical' front side of the house. 4.
