Dear Alvin, Alvin Low wrote: Hello. You mentioned hanging the six coins. Is it OK to just place the six coins on the table in a bag/container in the appropriate location? Actually, the coins should either be arranged in a straight row tied wth red string or placed on like red packet paper. Red is Fire, 6 Coins is Metal and the square in the coin is Earth. So when you placed it either in straight row or grouped together, the five element will be perfect harmony where the Fire- Hope that helps. Dear Hoa Luong, 1. According to Feng Shui principles, it is advisable to avoid placing a mirror behind a cashier's counter, as well as on either side of it, particularly in finance or accounting settings. 2. Cats, like all living beings, possess emotions and the capacity to feel pain. It is worth considering the perspective of being born as one of these animals. 3. The primary concern with keeping cats as pets is the potential for allergies in some individuals, including children. Generally, pet owners tend to maintain hygiene through regular bathing. 4. While stray cats often groom themselves, feeding them may not be advisable. Similar to guidelines i…

Dear Master Cecil Lee, Your reply had been really exciting. On this similar subject, i would like also to touch the subject on palm reading, fortune telling, and face reading. All these are related to one person life destiny.Sometime, when we look for a fortune teller in which they look into the palm reading and analyse the person face and gave quite amazing reply. And also,we do hear people say about life is fated. So,can FS change one person fate? Plus, when we apply FS to improve our life with the changes occur ...what would be the relation effect with palm reading, fortune telling, and face reading.Thank you for sharing your thought on this subject. Dear Anon, In my opinion, the interpretation is based on the address only. More importantly, depending on your level of usage of traditional methods or if one is only a `passer-by' of Feng Shui; other analysis are a better alternative: Such as correct shapes and form, avoiding poison arrows aimed at the house. These are easier to apply. More advanced methods such as Flying Star/Pillars depends as I mentioned above, on the level of your participation or non-participation in them. `Troubled mother' in terms of numerology implies `worries' of a parent (based on direct Chinese translation) of the combination of 3, 4 and 1 numbers. 9. Dear Anon, So long as the unit is not directly facing the frontage or the main entrance area of the Hindu temple; it is acceptable for the unit. For the two bedrooms; the test of whether there is sha qi or not is to stand at each of the bedroom windows. If the antenane seems to slice thru the window, then this is considered as a sha qi or poison arrow. Often there are two cures to this: 1. Reflective tinted glass Tinted glass or reflection from the glass is acceptable, here. 2. Day curtains or blinds Alternatively, one cou…

And I notice in the YouTube that some boil water on the stove inside the house after finished crossing over by family members. 1) Can we drink the water after boiled or we just let the water evaporate itself after continuing boiling? 2) Do we throw away the clay stove after completed the moving in ceremony?

Dear Max, 1. Typically, the design of a commercial building is influenced by the kind of tenants or tenant mix it attracts, along with other elements such as the nature of the business. 2. When it comes to purely office spaces, I think this isn't a concern. However, for retail establishments, their success hinges on various business factors, such as foot traffic, among others. 3. As long as the office is not in a remote or hard-to-reach area, and if numerous tenants occupy the office space, I believe there shouldn't be any problems. 4. For residential properties, many people would logically prefer to be situated further away from noise, as well as from…

Our stand for all time zone related is to use the local time of birth. This is because to factor in location, the only true way is to input the long. and lat. of birth. But that adds further degree of error and not everyone will record this information, so not practical to be used. So you should use the hour as in the hour when your son is born. 1. In my opinion, it is difficult to comment with the limited information; available. 2. Often, when it comes to the question of : Should I move? For many, the question posed is: will my new home be better or worse than the current home. 3. For many (unlike yourself); perhaps have stayed in a home; not much fantastic Feng Shui luck; but still can scrape thru. What happens if the next home has worse Feng Shui; or similar to what you may have encountered? 4. However, in your case; I am not sure how detailed the "Feng Shui" analysis and cures that was done previously. 5. On your question of "how extreme to have to move": Currently para 4; is a real question mark; and you ha…

I wonder if I should put something on my front door to ward off any unhappy vibes from those who have passed away. But other than that, it is usually not a major concern. If the house cross faces the house, then you might have to put some mirror to reflect it away. 15. Hello Master, my wife's birth cert (date of birth) has a high probability that it is not accurate due to a lax enforcement 40 years ago in her village at the time. 16. 1. Hopefully, the double #8's at the back is not the toilet or kitchen area else it is wasted, here. 2. Some homes have their acitivity area at the back e.g. dining room. If there is some form of living area at the "back" of the home, one can have more activities in this area. Alternatively, allow windows to be opened (provided no rain - leaking into the home). Letting qi or air coming from this area is a good consideration - allow it to circulate into the home. 3. Once a while, it is often good to allow qi to or ordinary wind to flow into all parts of the home e.g. open windows or doors every few weeks - is good for qi circulation: avoiding dead / sha qi or suffocating…

I am considering buying a house that has an highway-style road running behind it. The road is elevated high above the house, however there is a relatively thick screen of tall trees in between and also a decent sized back garden, so the house is not so close. Is this still bad or is the bad energy naturalised by the trees and garden? Picture attached. Your advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. Dear Master, I have a question in relation to Flying Stars for 2025. We have kitchen/dining room renovation booked for end of February 2025. The kitchen is in North-west/North and dining room North-east direction. This will involve removing and replacing kitchen, floor and lights. realised flying stars 3, 7 and 5 will therefore be negatively activated and reading what can happen is worrying me. Are there any cures we can put it to avoid the consequences these stars can bring? We can not cancel the renovation as we would lose the large deposit. Thank you

  19. Dear Angie, There are two sides of the coin to this:- 1. Generally, from a hobbist point of view, many things can affect the lifespan of fishes: such as the ph-level, water content, age of goldfish(es). 2. From a Feng Shui point-of-view, often, this is a blessing in disguise: as such deaths often are said to be 'sacrificial' to our own well-being. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  21. General observations:- 1. Rough estimate is that most of the units are of Flying Star: Period 8, NE 1 or SW1. 2. Just be careful of sharp edges from another unit (stack). For example, stack 20; may have an edge or corner that is aimed towards stack 14 (perhaps a bedroom window) or vice versa. Stack 24 with 18. 3. As usual, best not to have afternoon sun soaking into master bedroom walls or thru windows of living, bedroom(s). 4. Again, club house roof fans out creating a sha qi particularly of concern is for stack 29 (less of a concern for stack 28). Thus depending on how high the roof is, avoid having it slice towards the window level of lower floor - stack 29. …

Dear Anon, Every home (landed property) and apartments (condos / apartment / flat) have their distinctive Feng Shui. So in terms of Feng Shui for a condo: The Centris; if we consider an individual unit vs other units, then there are always some units that may have superior Feng Shui vs other units. Thus, a recent post asking how is the Raintree condo, again, usually in each plot of land there are invariably good or not so favourable units. As mentioned previously, all homes may or may not be affected by the "hot" afternoon sun; Your question relates more to the "marketability" and whether your unit can become an asset or end up as a loss. Thus in terms of good m…

These are some considerations: 1. Water is not necessarily a bad thing if it is permanent as opposed to seasonal. 2. How the home is built and facing would determine whether it has good, bad or neutral Feng Shui. Reference: http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=29&mid=11355&new= 3. The major concern is the effects of global warming and the irratic weather behaviour. Hopefully this does not translate to extreme flooding on the property especially if the creek overfills.

Hi Master, I have 1 ancestor tablet in my current house and I'm moving house soon, as the new house is not ready yet, thus need to temporary put in my dad's place. The problem is my dad's house also has 1 ancestor tablet and there isn't much space left on the altar table. Question: - Is it possible to put my house's ancestor tablet in front of my dad's house original ancestor tablet? - My house ancestor tablet is slightly bigger, it will block my dad's house original ancestor table, is it ok? Appreciate your help to assist in this. Thanks.

Dear Jojo, If you want to practise 9 Star Ki, it is adviseable not to practise Feng Shui because it has its own `ruleset' and some of the key essence is the same but however, there are still some differences and if one does not know sure of the actual differences, one may end up creating problems for themselves. Basically for Feng Shui is the time for the breadwinner to enter the house is important. As for the direction, which you mentioned, in practical reality, when you travel say on the road, it is most likely that one may turn into an inauspicious direction. Therefore, this rule is not an important rule to take into account in our modern society. Lets look at it this …
